Whoa!!!! 5 Star rating at Auto Body Repair Place?! You bet your sweet a**! The bad. I had a wheel sheer off my vehicle right after having a local tire shop do some repairs to a valve stem. The good. CARSTAR Hayden! No kidding you guys, this place truly understands customer service and communication. I had my vehicle towed to their business the night the accident happened, went in the next day and was greeted by some of the most positive and understanding people I've meet. Let's face it, no one likes dealing with auto accidents and these guys understand that. Johnny, Amy, and Shelly were compassionate and awesome at setting expectations. They got my paperwork processed and immediately took a look at my vehicle. They were honest about the timeline (our area had just experienced a snowstorm and cold snap) and let me know that it would be about a week before they could get it into the shop. Yes, I was a little bummed out and glad they were honest about it. I went on my way and with in a couple of hours I received a text update. A few days later, I got another text update stating that they were getting ready to take a look at my vehicle. That same day I received a call from Amy (yes, a live human being) letting me know what the repairs would look like, what the estimated timeline would be and if I had any questions. Nearly every 3 days or so I would receive at minimum a text message letting me know the status of my vehicle. We're things perfect? Of course not, they did run into some unexpected damage and had to track down parts (during an auto workers strike) and they fully let me know what to expect. In fact, when there was bad news they made sure to call and they didn't just leave a message stating what was wrong, they would leave a message asking me to call them. They never shared the bad news via a voicemail. It was always over a conversation to make sure that I wasn't left with questions. This place does a better job with communication than my Doctors Office. I'm not typically a review type of guy, and when I experience incredible service I feel obligated to share it. This is a family operated business and they truly care. The repair work on my vehicle was done to perfection and they made the experience a lot less stressful. If you are looking for quality auto body/collision repair work done and top notch customer service then there's only one place to go. CARSTAR Hayden. Thanks again, Amy, Shelly, and Johnny!!!!

CarStar was amazing! The people were so nice and genuine. They really knew what they were doing and fixed our car in a very timely manner. Everything looks wonderful. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their car worked on. Great company and staff!

We are very happy with the experience we had at CARSTAR! Amy was so helpful and always greeted us with a welcoming smile. Johnny was able to answer all my questions before and after dropping our car off for repair. The car looks amazing and we wouldn t hesitate to recommend CARSTAR to all our friends.

We had such a great experience with Carstar. They were patient as we worked with a difficult insurance company for 3 months on a claim. Once the repairs began they gave frequent updates and made the process stress free! It was such a relief after a long battle with insurance and I couldn t be happier we chose them as our preferred repair facility!

Amazing service incredible repair work. If you want a quality repair for your car go see Zachry and Greg at CarStar of Hayden. They got my vehicle in and the repair was done correctly the first time. Communication was excellent. Nice to see a locally owned and operated business doing such great work.

I would recommend Carstar in Hayden to any and everyone who needs body repair or paint work done on any of their vehicles. I had someone rear-end me and they did not have insurance! Talk about stress from the get. My insurance company told me to give Cartsar a call which I did the very next day and I was met with the most pleasant person on the other end of the phone. Amy was nothing short of concerned. She asked me deals about the accident. She inquired if everyone was okay. She asked all the appropriate questions from where the damage on my vehicle was to what insurance the claim was running under she and informed me of all everything I could expect going forward. She scheduled me to have pictures taken of my vehicle and to document the damage so they can get me on the repair schedule as soon as possible. She literally let me know every detail of how the repair would go from ordering parts to keeping me informed throughout the entire repair and how discussions with insurance would and could possibly go. Even being upfront that if there were even the possibility of fees that insurance would not cover that someone would be in contact with me immediately to go over that scenario. I have never experienced such top notch customer service at a body shop in my life! Will never take any of vehicle anywhere but Carstar!

Customer service at Carstar is by far one of the best I've experienced in Coeur d' Alene. I set up an appointment by telephone, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to connect with a person instead of a bot.I set the appointment and went to Carstar to get an estimate on a paint job on my vehicle. Zachry assisted me with the estimate, and he was extraordinarily thorough in explaining everything involved with the job. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He truly cares about his customers. In fact, everyone there cares about their customers. The shop is immaculate. I didn't feel like I was at an auto body facility. It is very modern and impressive. I'm definitely planning to do business with Carstar.If you need any auto body work, I highly recommend giving them a call and setting up an appointment. You will be glad you did!

Wow! Had a brother and a friend tell me about this place. I got myself in a jam today with the snowy weather and needed help. I showed up just as they were closing and couldn t get my wiper fluid in my Tesla to work. 3 people jumped on it so that I could travel safely to Schweitzer mountain tonight. The problem was solved in about 20 minutes and everyone was so helpful and amazing. The facility is great and I will definitely be using this business in the future for my vehicle needs. I also run a local business and have an eye for service, and professionalism. Let s just say I was super impressed and give all categories 5 stars.

I would just like to say that it s not every day that you re in an accident and have to deal with insurance. I would just like to say Carstar of Hayden specifically Shelley and Johnny made my life so much easier and they helped me out so much with insurance that I only had to pay a little bit out-of-pocket And it was definitely affordable would recommend two thumbs up all day and let all my friends know that if they re ever in an accident and from what Shelley and Johnny told me that it s usually one accident every three years or three every 10 years so hopefully it doesn t happen that much but Carstar are the experts

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to the entire Carstar Team for all their hard work and dedication! We have used them on several occasions when someone backed into the front and side of our car, and when someone crashed into my dad's truck and caused quite a bit of internal damage. No matter what the circumstance was Carstar was there to provide excellent customer service, give you weekly updates, correspond back and forth with the insurance companies, and are always going above and beyond expectations. Needless to say, we had our vehicles back on road sooner than expected! You guys are truly amazing, and we cannot thank you enough. Greg saved me hundreds of dollars by repairing a side view mirror that two other shops said needed replaced. I couldn't have expected a better experience or friendlier customer service. I was treated as a friend rather than just another customer.CARSTAR Hayden will always be my choice for future repair needs.

I just got into accident and my insurance company suggested Carstar of Hayden. I have never been in accident before or even had to have a car repaired and I was clueless about what steps to take next. So I called them and from the very second that Amy answered the phone my stress just disappeared! She was understanding & informative & above all she LISTENED to all of my concerns. I needed to schedule an appointment to have photos taken and to have an estimate started and she fit me in right away. She filled me in on all the details from the estimator who I would be meeting with for my estimate to how long scheduling repairs would take and how all of the communications with my insurance company would go throughout the entire process. She even explained that once repairs were started and I was in a rental that I could drive the rental car straight to their shop when my car was ready and they would turn my rental off and have them come pick it up. No-one wants to end up in an accident but I can confidently say that I will only be taking my vehicles to Carstar for any repairs for the foreseeable future. AMY alleviated all of my worries & I am thankful that my insurance referred me to Carstar!

Can t tell you how awful and rude Shelly the manager is. She suggested Car Star is not the shop for me simply because she wasn t willing to help me with my insurance as apparently the shop is the most elite place ever and insurance won t pay their high cost for labor. Jumped through hoops and chose them even though out of my preferred shop with my Insurance because they had done a good job for me years ago but wow I d rather go to a lower end shop just to avoid this office manager.

Stopped in to get an estimate at Carstar and Johnny and Shelley were so eager to help and once I get insurance figured out I will definitely be back for repairs. I would not recommend anywhere else to get work done.

CARSTAR fixed my Tesla really well after a fender bender. They communicated the time it would take, dealt with the insurance company, and even detailed the interior while they had it. Definitely recommend.

Had a problem with my decals on my truck from weathering. Carstar had no problem fixing them a year later. Would definitely recommend and will continue to use carstar with any problems with my vehicles

Carstar helped real quick no charge my window was stuck half way up and couldn't get it to go up for the life of me but Mel got it done in no time and charged me nothing for it will definitely comeback again if I ever need anything done

Was in there a while ago and talked to a fella name johnny... answered all of my questions with the enthusiasm of a chubby kid with cake.. very knowledgeable as well... I had some questions about fixer upping my truck dents unfortunately was not put there by me... this guy should be greatly appreciated to any business regardless of the field.. the way he answered my questions was sharp and to the point... he knows his stuff,,, zero hesitation in his responses..all in all he is a great fella.. even introduced me to others that were working including the owner and his wife.. you folks at CARSTAR have an outstanding guy,,, that Johnny is the best.. thanks for the time you spent with me and my truck...

This is a great repair place. Went here because they are Ford certified. Was completely satisfied with the work done. They kept me updated the whole time on finish date. The customer service was superb

Took my car in after a hit and run; Greg and crew got it looking brand new. New paint looks incredible and the attention to detail was amazing. They even washed the car when they were finished! Looks better than ever and the customer service is second to none.
