If you're looking for an honest and fair mechanic Scott is your guy! He saved me from a full transmission replacement that other shops were ready and eagerly going to charge me $5-6,000 for. Scott was very knowledgeable and honest about my repair. He was able to get me into his shop right away to take care of my problem. I had an intake manifold oil leak which Scott had the job done in a day. He also gave very honest recommendations on other issues he saw with my vehicle. His pricing is fair, and he guarantees his work. It was easy to work with Scott and I will definitely be sending my vehicles to him for future service.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This is the best repair shop in town. Needed my 1980 gmc 4x4 4 speed manual transmission and transfer case rebuilt. This shop was the only shop i could find. They do a great honest job, and are reasonably priced. Definitely highly recommend.

Scott does great work at a fair price. He came recommend by a coworker to do some work on my daughter's car. He took the time to explain to us the work to be done and showed us when completed. A trustworthy mechanic with integrity is a rare find and Scott has both.

I was originally referred to Perfection Drivetrain by a friend and I am thankful I was. Though it is never fun to have a vehicle needing repair, I have had two great experiences with Perfection Drivetrain and Auto Repair. In both instances, Scott was able to diagnose and resolve the issue. He was accurate and honest in his availability, the time needed for the repair, and the final cost. In both instances, the transmissions were expertly repaired. On the first repair, he also noticed an issue I had missed just by listening to the vehicle on a test drive. I was able to have the issue repaired preventing a future breakdown. I appreciate the service, honesty, and the expertise that I have received as my vehicles were repaired.Service: Transmission

For the same thing Dowdy's Automotive was going to charge me close to $1000 to fix, he charged me almost $400 less, the car runs great, he had it done quickly & when I asked him to throw on some new headlights & a couple other things it was no big issue. Would definitely recommend & will be returning for all my auto repair needs.

Took my 05 TJ to Scott so he could put in new gears in both front and rear end. It works amazing. The price was very fair and the time it took to get done was great also. Will for sure go back to him for more work on the Jeep.

I have used Scott to rebuild both of my vehicles, an F350 and a FJ Cruiser. They both run like they are brand new. He does great work and let s you know exactly what he needs to fix. He has always been 100 percent honest. I will use Perfection Drivetrain for all my car needs and would recommend Scott to anyone who wants a service they can trust. I have used Scott at Perfection Drivetrain as my "go to " mechanic for many years. He has rebuilt three transmissions for me in various vehicles, and done a lot of other work on our cars. Scott is honest, does excellent work, and is one of the few "transmission gurus" that can remove your transmission from your car or truck and rebuild it to better than new specs, and re-install it. You get a much better transmission than putting in a rebuilt or re-manufactured transmission of unknown quality.I highly recommend Perfection Drivetrain for your automotive repairs and transmission needs.

Scott is a patient, honest, trustworthy mechanic to work with. I ran my Jimmy out of fuel and then had a "no start" after filling the tank with gas. He diagnosed the concern to a wire that had came loose, it was causing my Anti-Theft to stall the engine. And did a full inspection of the vehicle and provided a in-depth summery of the concerns he found. Will be going back to Perfection Drivetrain & Auto Repair! Thank you Scott!

The best mechanic in town in my opinion. He was quick and very honest about what he found on my BMW. Easy to work with and just does really good work! Will always suggest Scott to anyone with car problems.

I hired Scott to install a stock motor in my Suzuki samurai. He started the work on it but stalled a little ways in. It then sat in his shop for eight months without any progress. I reached out to him multiple times, but no work had been done. I was charged about $300 in labor for the little work that was done. I had dropped it off in June, I then picked it up in January and took it to another shop where it was running and drivable in just 5 days. My experience was not regarding transmission work, but it was not a good experience regardless.

Kind of out of the way. Took a chance and am glad I did. I have a transmission I trust. He had to do a complete rebuild and added a shift kit. It works better than before !
