Got me in quickly and repaired quickly. Fairly priced. Sent pics and video of problem and communicated well. I trust them to fix your car and mine. So glad I found them when my fairly new vehicle started leaking oil.

Mike was awesome. He is a kind and ethical mechanic. He assessed my hybrid vehicle but when determined to be under warranty, he helped facilitate transfer to the dealership and did not charge me for his time. I mean, this is not what I expected. I highly recommend him.

My car sat at my dealership's lot for 3 weeks and came back worse than it went in, but then Long Arm Mechanics were able to diagnose and repair it within 24 hours. I'd give everyone from Mike in the front office to all their techs a 10 out of 10 all day long.

We were referred to Long Arm Mechanics through my daughter's headstart, my check engine light kept coming on and most repair shops around wanted $250+ just to diagnose what was wrong. This shop offers a special program where you only have to pay for parts on repairs that are safety related if you are referred through one of their partners in the community (headstart for me). I can't even begin to tell you how much of a blessing this was for our low income family of 6, there is no way we could have afforded the repairs that were needed without this program. The office staff was so kind to work with and even went above and beyond and washed/vacuumed my car when they absolutely didn't have to. They never made me feel less than for needing their assistance program, and treated me like any other customer even though they weren't getting paid nearly as much as they usually would have. All in all, they did an amazing job, super fast repairs and were just the nicest people. I will reccomend Long Arm Mechanics to anyone in my life that needs auto repairs and they will have my business for life.

Longarm is the shop for my family and I. They didn't try to over sale us on repairs we didn't need. They stayed late to allow me to pickup the keys to my wife's car after hours. This is dedication to ensuring my family is well taken care of and it is greatly appreciated.

I had a great experience with Mike and the team. Always super knowledgeable and transparent on pricing and the work to be done. Also really appreciate the online booking feature for those of us scared of making phone calls. Will be going back.

Long arm mechanics have a lot of integrity if you have any fear about going to auto mechanics and getting scammed this is a place to go they have a lot of transparency and thorough explanation they do zero repairs without your authority ,I also very friendly and helpful and in a timely manner they will get your vehicle to you soon as they possible can their expertise and their knowledge is unmatched.

I can not say enough great things about Long Arm Mechanics and Auto Salon!! I took them a filthy car inside, outside and the engine compartment and within hours I returned to a car that looks and smells like it just came off the new car lot. I am so impressed! I knew Levon ran a great business and gives back to Garden City in many ways, this is my first time to the car salon, I am hooked. I will also be back for oil changes and anything else auto related. I really enjoyed working with them- they gave me an electronic estimate/breakdown of services recommended, and then we had an open conversation about it. Excellent customer service, and my car is running much better. I'll happily go back.

More than a pleasant surprise. My vintage Mazda truck was due for an oil change, so I tried Long Arm Mechanics as they were offering a special Veterans Day service. I'm thrilled with the service I received. Neat and clean. They covered my seat, floor and steering wheel,. No greasy surprises from these guys. A ride home when their appointments were stacking up, and my truck delivered to me when finished. They did a full diagnostic check along with the lube, oil, filter service. Everyone is friendly, professional and knowledgable. They informed me of what items need attention in the future but were never pushy or alarming to have the services done. They also seem to have a good knowledge of my 1987 B2000 pickup which is becoming harder to come by, along with parts. I will absolutely use them again and highly recommend them. I've been looking for a good mechanic in the Treasure Valley for a long time. I heard about Long Arm Mechanics and read the amazing reviews they had and decided to give them a try. I'm thrilled to say not only were they communicative, knowledgeable and friendly through the process, but also didn't break the bank. This shop not only has the old school feel of a genuine auto repair shop, but the techy side too that keeps you in the loop of estimates and repairs without having to call a bunch of times asking when your vehicle is going to be ready. Their customer service is fantastic. Mike was very communicative and kind. They were very thorough and got the work done very fast. I m an 18 year old that has been working on cars for majority of my life. I had a coolant leak and fixed one area of it myself but there were more leaks that I couldn t see so I brought into long arm mechanics. They had good customer service and were friendly. It took them a couple days to diagnose the leaks and fix them. I would have given them 5 stars for their service but I m giving three because they tried to tell me I needed a new electric fan because it wasn t working and were going to charge almost another grand for it. I already knew why they weren t working because of a blown fuse. I took my car home, changed the fuse and now they are working better than ever. I m so impressed with this shop. They communicate effectively, take the time to explain everything and their assessments come with an electronic report complete with pictures. I have older cars and appreciate that they understand them. SPECTACULAR. Without question the very best mechanic experience I've had in my entire life. I'm not from Boise, but I would almost move here just to have these guys service my vehicles. Not only did they provide quick, excellent service, they were fantastic communicators and could not be more kind. And on top of all this: my bill came in at half the price quoted in the estimate. I suppose pigs are flying in a frozen hell. These guys set the bar for speed, quality, and service. Don't walk, RUN to Long Arm Mechanics. Went in thinking my subaru needed the head gasket replaced, a moderately expensive repair. They did a thorough inspection of my vehicle before doing any repairs and found it was just the oil pressure sensor that was causing the leak. There were a few other repairs done that they were very transparent about and provided pictures of everything. Riped of our Corvette took in to get new wiring harness ending need new timming and 2 weeks after out of time want to charge to fix ther warranty mas flow replaced was not still has uv dye on it from ac leak new belt was not replaced has Sam striation lines on it when picked up charge a total of 10000 almost and they replaced 3 wires for 3900 scam. Took car back refuse to honor warranty and want to charge to fix ther warranty filed lawsuit but I'd recommend not using them ever listed under my grampa who paid Johnny Blunck only gold Corvette in boiseServices: Steering & suspension replacement, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I needed my pinion seal replaced. They diagnised my problem and as a courtesy hey did a complete inspection of my Ford F-150. I didn't have the repair done but am impressed with their attention to detail, courtesy, professional knowledgeable people. I look forward to do business again in the future.

This place is a rip off. I came in because my ac compressor was worn out. Wanting a quote; I came here and they said they would diagnose it for free. They ended up charging me 125$ for it and told me what I already knew. After it all, they wanted to charge me 3000$ for the job. The cost of the parts was 400$. They also wanted to replace parts that weren t close to needing to be replaced. They also didn t put the leads on my battery back on completely. Probably trying to trick and sell me a new battery.Mechanics like these will scare you into draining your bank accounts. If something is wrong with your car, mechanics should be your last resort.

I was recommended to this mechanic by a friend of the owner. I have been to several mechanics in the valley and they have been the best thus far. They called me by name, both when I dropped off the vehicle and picked it up. They quoted me the cost with taxes after the initial diagnostic and didn't hit me with surprise costs when I went to pick up the vehicle when they promised it would be done. They even sent a detailed report with photos in an email, showing what they did and what repairs they would recommend from their full-service inspection. They were very courteous, fair-priced, easy to work with, and showed a great deal of transparency in their report. They even did a courtesy wash of my vehicle on the outside and I noticed they cleaned up the driver and passenger side seats and vacuumed a bit. I'm impressed with their level of customer service; this is how a mechanic should be!
