If you want to give your money away for the most expansive windshields in the Boise area then this is a place for you. Be ready, they will take your pants down. They quoted me $400 and fast glass in boise had it done same day for $185. I took photos as proof I had it done else where.I hope I saved you time and money!

Great customer service! Had my headlights polished on our 2011 Subaru Outback. I worked directly with the owner Dave. He is professional and very knowledgeable. If you have a modern car or truck with plastic lights that are starting show their age I highly recommend you use Dave Adam s Windshields.

I have to qualify this post by first saying that the windshield installation was done about five years ago when the shop was still owned by the original owner, Dave Adams. The problem I had was a rattling noise that I nor a mechanic could pin down the source. It seemed to be coming from the dashboard. After putting up with the noise and having it seemingly get louder, I Googled the problem and found someone that suggested the windshield could be the source of the rattling. It was suggested I place painters tape on the moulding that is on the top edge of the windshield so that it also adheres to the glass. Once I did, I took my vehicle for a drive and noticed the rattling was completely gone.I went to a different windshield dealer this week who replaced the windshield and found these problems with the old one.1. Glass was pushed too far down, and was set crooked.2. Top molding was glued down over top of clips, that prevented the clips from "clicking into place".3. Molding was not properly primed and glue eventually failedIn fairness to Dave Adams windshield, I have to say that my vehicle is an FJ Cruiser and has a windshield that is purportedly difficult to replace. With that said, if a dealer doesn't have much experience with such windshields, they should refer the customer to another shop that does have the experience.Oddly, I had taken my FJ into Dave Adam's shop during the past year or so and learned the shop had been sold. I believe it was the new owner that came out to look at my vehicle. When I explained I was trying pin down the source of the rattle, he kindly offered to look at the windshield to see if there was any obvious problem. He said he didn't see any, however, the windshield shop that installed the new windshield immediately saw that the top windshield moulding appeared to be improperly installed.

I wish I had found this business a long time ago. I went to a national company instead who charged a lot and I didn't feel like they took care of my windshield. This man covered the entire glass crack the size of a dime for $35. I was in shock. He did an amazing job. I think he is getting ready to sell the company and retire. If he hasn't yet, I highly encourage anyone to go here. Truly exceptional work!!!!

Last week I pulled into the parking lot of Dave Adams Windshield, the parking lot was full, all the bays were occupied and it was clear they were very busy. Dave met me in the lobby and I said that I would be happy to come back later and was willing to schedule an appointment . Dave said I can slide you in and have you out in 30 minutes. He was able to do that for me, confirm my insurance coverage and did a great job. I will continue to only use Dave as I have for nearly 20 years now. Solid business and great work. I highly recommend Dave Adams Windshields. Last month I had to get my windshield replaced and I was able to schedule it with no problem. When I arrived Dave was incredibly friendly and so helpful in walking me through the insurance process. It was finished in less than 4 hours and he did great work. Unfortunately, last week I got a rock chip in the beautiful new windshield. I took it in this morning with no appointment. Once again, I received a friendly greeting (this time from Rick) and he was also hugely helpful in taking me through the insurance process. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and the rock chip repair looks great.

I m just going to add my two cents to the heaps of raving reviews here, and they all are spot on. I called two other of the bigger companies got quotes that were 1 to 2 weeks out, and significantly more expensive. One quick call to Dave and he was able to pull a miracle off and get us a windshield the very next day for much less. Incredible service and friendliness, something I didn t get from the staff from those other big companies. As a little cherry on top, we had a Idaho parks pass sticker that we forgot to tell him about on our old windshield. He noticed it and replaced it onto the new windshield without even having to be told. That is quality and attention to detail that I can get behind. Thanks so much Dave!

Dave is one of the nicest people I have ever had the privelage of meeting. He really does care about the customer and takes pride in his work. While, yes, the job might take longer than other locations/franchises, Dave is an all-around good guy, and I will definitely be back if I ever need ankther Windshield Repair or Replacement.

Quick Indoor Service with a nice room to wait in. VERY REASONABLE PRICE for Windshield Repair. DEEP DISCOUNT if multiple chips are involved. Be sure to check with your Insurance Agent whether Windshield Chip Repair will impact your premiums. If so, Pay Cash. Will definitely come back for future chip repairs!Service: Auto windshield repairService: Auto windshield repair

I just got done at Dave's. I had a decent sized crack in my windshield on my 2017 Outback. I checked the reviews before calling them. They were cheaper than the national chains and Rick did impeccable work. It even took less time than originally thought. If I ever have to get another replacement, definitely going there again.

Dave was amazing! My rear window was broken on my Jeep and he was able to fix it the same day even with a miss order in parts. He also fixed a rock chip I had in my front window. Locally owned and awesome. Nobody could beat hus prices either. I would highly recommend him to anyone that has and window issues on their vehicle.

They said it would be 4 hours. They sent me off with a loaner car and then called me in about an hour to say it was almost done. Courteous and professional. Window looks good.

They wanted $500 to replace a side window. So I went to the junkyard and got one for 30 bucks and it took me about 20 minutes to change it myself.

We were traveling in camper van from NC to Portland and needed to be in Portland the next day. Outside of Pocatello a rock truck went by and threw several large rocks at our van breaking the windshield in 7 places. I called all the windshield places I could Google from Pocatello to Boise and Dave answered his own phone, said he could get the work done for us that afternoon. True to his word, he had ordered the windshield, got it delivered, and as I write this review, he is currently installing it. I am so grateful and impressed by his kindness working us in when other companies were unwilling to help some weary travelers. Thank you to Dave and his team.Services: Installation, Glass installation, Auto windshield replacement

I was met by Dave when I drove in to have my windshield crack repaired. Dave was efficient and friendly. He called Geico and walked me through the process to have my repair covered. I was in and out within a half an hour. I felt that he as the owner of the business provided great customer service. I would use him again.

My entire family goes to Dave Adams for any rock chips or cracks on our windshields. His business provides efficient and excellent service, and you couldn't meet a nicer guy than Dave! He also manages to squeeze me in in a timely manner - which is imperative to fixing a chip, instead of replacing a windshield. The last time I went in, he performed some magic on my windshield, so I didn't need to buy a new one. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

I stopped by Dave Adams Windshields because my rear view mirror fell off of my windshield. When I called to ask if they re-glued rear view mirrors, I spoke to Dave. THE Dave, as in the owner. I was pretty surprised, being from the east coast where if the name's on your shop, you're at home with your feet up, raking in the dough.I arrived at the shop and let them know that I was the one who had called about the rear view mirror re-gluing. I was told by the front desk clerk that he had another customer to help, and he would be right back. When he returned, he said that the glue was setting on my windshield, and he would put the mirror back in place a few minutes later. He was so quick I didn't even know he had done the work! When I went to pay for the service, I was told it was "free of charge, just come back when you get a rock chip." Amazing!I can't recommend the place any further, great people, great service!

My question is how many customers had Rick run off without Dave knowing or does he?To date, I have received no follow up.I called, talked to Dave, made an appointment one week out. I asked Dave if my replacement for my vehicle was straight forward. He said, yes. Dave said, to have the car in at 9:00 am and it would be out by noon.I told Dave I would be waiting while work was performed.First, being the appointment was one week out, there was no follow-up call for a reminder: Why?Second, when I brought my vehicle in, I left my keys with Rick after confirmation of appointment. However, in the parking lot, I asked Rick about window tinting. He answered my question, but his attitude changed and I was met with a hostile and antagonistic employee: Rick. Why?Rick was agitated. He asked first if Dave had seen the car? Then told me the replacement would take over Dave's assessment. When I told him his assessment did not match my conversation over the phone, Rick in a hostile intonation, said, "You don't undetstand!"I stopped him and fired back, and said, "I do understand, "Dave knew the vehicle. He knew the application and our conversation was in direct opposition to this conversation."What I was seeing, the job was over Rick's head. When Rick saw I met him with appropriate and direct opposition, he handed back my keys, said, you sound upset, have a good day and walked away into the shop. The car: 2004 Chrysler Crossfire, coup. You tell me? Is this the employee you want working for you?

Experienced my 1st chipped windshield today.. at first I was pretty livid about it but I had called around and was surprised how affordable chip repair was with their services. $35 got the chip repaired along with a few glasses of water and good conversation with Rick. I'd reccomend them to anyone I know.

Got there 30 min before closing and they were able to get me back on the road in no time. Great experience! Highly recommend! $35 rock chip repair beats paying for a $1000 windshield replacement.

Rick went above and beyond to fix the hinges on our back rear lift window. He didn t have to, but he did. And the cost was 1/5 of the quote Ford gave us!Great guys, small business, relationship driven!

Rick fixed the rock chip in my windshield. He is a true professional and a very nice man. He cautioned me that it wouldn't be completely invisible, but I have to hunt to find it. More importantly, now, the crack won't run and I don't have to replace the windshield. Cost was only $35! Thanks Rick!
