Great customer service! They completed a very detailed inspection report that was sent to my phone with pictures and descriptions so I could understand my vehicle issues. As well as a follow up phone call to verify they met my needs and wants.I will be recommending everyone I know to this shop for vehicle repairs.The staff was very nice and took everything I said into consideration and made me feel confident and comfortable in what was being completed on my vehicle.If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

After having the dealership work on our van for the 3rd time in a 3 week span, we decided to take it to Tune Tech and they were nothing but AMAZING!! Not only did they communicate efficiently and in a timely manner but they also provided a very thorough and complete diagnostic inspection which included photos. My husband and I will be forever customers because of them!

I needed a turbo replaced and a valve cover gasket fixed on a Ford Escape. Tune Tech Fairview gave a fair estimate, and also found things during the repair that needed to be corrected, and were upfront and reasonable with the charges. We are very pleased with how the car is running and with the service in general.You can tell when a business has mechanics who are themselves car enthusiasts. Owners of classic cars are very particular about who works on them, and I noticed they seem to trust Tune Tech with their classic cars, a couple of which I was able to see in their maintenance bays. That is always a good sign of quality work.

These guys are a bunch of crooks. They wanted to charge me $400 to replace my light bulbs. We re not talking the whole assembly. Just the 4 bulbs. High beams and low beams. They charge $100 parts and labor per bulb. I just went to AutoZone and purchased the bulbs myself and installed them myself. It only cost me $100 total. I saved myself $300. They also charge a diagnostic fee per item. So, if you have 3 separate things wrong with your vehicle they charge 3 separate diagnostic fees. I had my car there all day and they only did one diagnostic. I told them I wanted everything looked at as there were multiple issues going on and they said I would need to reschedule and bring my car back. I have an oil leak and it could be one of three issues. Rather than just do their job correctly and pin point the issue, they put all three on the estimate. They quoted me twice the amount the dealer quoted me. They also removed a hose to my radiator and caused my coolant to leak out. My car overheated when I was up in the mountains. Thank God they re just happened to be a shell gas station there that sold coolant. Go to the dealership. You will get much better quality work done, honest feedback and a fair price. The nice thing about the dealer is they charge one diagnostic fee for all diagnostics and then they apply that amount to your total cost when you pay for the repairs. I will never go back to tune tech again and I will be reporting them to the BBB.

They were very thorough in explaining what the charges would be And I was very happy with the price they charged. It was below what the competition was the staff was very friendly and professional.I will be bringing both my vehicles back here in the future.Thanks Tune Tech!

I was in need of a minor repair on my vehicle and found a company convenient to me to fix it. I don t know my way around a car so went looking for help. What I found out about Tune Tech on Fairview Ave is they were more of a Family Spirit Company than a fix it shop. The group I met with kept me informed of the progress that day which included a problem I would have not uncovered. It was a wire bundle in my truck that had melted on the mating end and exposed the real problem. The guy working on it, Dave, sent a pix to their computer to share with me, so they could explain what was further needed. A new part was ordered and delivered quickly and although it extended the labor time, they met me in the middle on the final labor charge. While I was there McKenna and John made me feel quite at home while I waited. Their office is adorned with Customer Pictures, Thank You cards from Customers, and pictures of all their employees. Waiting is NOT something I m good at, but these people made the time go by quickly as they all interacted with me during my stay. Never had that happen before!! I HIGHLY recommend these folks to all of you, and I will be back should a need come up in the future. A Priceless Experience All Around. This place, Tune Tech Fairview, is absolutely the "Best" car service in Boise, Idaho We are so happy and glad we found this place... A+ all the way! While I'm still in a very frustrating experience on a very cut and dry matter over a new car repair, Tune Tech Fairview has gone severely above and beyond what they should have. Shout out to McKenna who is still, giving all her heart to dig until she can find a way to help. You will never leave tune tech fairview without being helped even if it's just a point in the right direction or a connection to more helpful people.Born and raised boise/meridian, 30 year old. My opinion is this group represents the soul of this valley strongly. Thank you all for your continued fight in hope to keep me from years of damage!

My truck is now on its 3rd time back to tune tech for a timing cover replacement and all associated gaskets. It was pouring coolant out the first drive home, second drive home the oil pan near the cover is leaking oil- they tried to state this was another shops issue from prior work when its their RTV on the leak... now back in a third time - will see if its fixed.Service: Auto engine tuning

John was very helpful. I felt he was up front and honest with me. My original need was to have my air conditioner looked at and repaired. Unfortunately, other costly issues came up that I was not aware of. I own a 2004 Yukon. The likelihood of having on going maintenance being done is inevitable. What I was not aware of was a small hole in my transfer case and I have been driving with it being bone dry. All of my fluid had been leaking out over time.I'm now on the hunt for another vehicle. It's all going to be alright though. I knew this was already coming into my path.I'm grateful. I'm thankful and most appreciative. The big thing is I trust the integrity of John and Tune Tech. I used to work for an automotive company for 10 years. It sold and I was looking for another good company close by my home. I met John and Chris through Napa parts. I got to know them and found they are honest and trustworthy people to do business with. If our company was busy or couldn t do something I would send them to Tune Tech knowing that there integrity stood strong. There prices are good and they are fair. They tell you if you don t need something. They were very helpful when I brought my car to them. I would highly recommend them. Tune Tech was quick, knowledgeable and kept me apprised of every step they needed to take. They only fixed what was necessary and didn't try to throw in a bunch of needless repairs to pad the bill. I probably won't go back. Tune Tech reports everything to Car Fax which is great if buying a vehicle but bad if selling. I felt violated that I wasn't asked first. It's fine for lubes ect but any extensive repairs puts a red flag on your vehicle which may reduce its value significantly.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

They got me in a lot faster than I expected. They thoroughly explained what was wrong with my car, and unfortunately, why in this instance I'd have to take it to the dealership for the repair and then they gave me a break on the diagnostic fee and $10 toward my next repair. These guys are definitely my new shop.

These guys are the best I've found anywhere around here. Always friendly, always quick, and always honest. Chris, John, and the team are simply the best in the business of auto repair, and as long as they run this place, I'll never go anywhere else.Edit: After reading some of the one-star reviews, I'm convinced these are competitors or people who left their reviews on the wrong business website. None of them describe the professionalism we've experienced here. They may or may not be able to fix your issue right away, but they'll always communicate honestly in either case. About 2 years ago I bought a coupon card for oil changes an other discounted services for Tune Tech Fairview. That is how established services here. Recently I had some issues with my car and Tune Tech was able to see me that same week. Thank goodness they were able too! I learned that my type of car is known to consume oil my car was practically bone dry on oil I am so grateful I was able to get in so quickly before my engine had blown. Plus these professionals advised me of these known issues and fixed it for a decent price. McKenna is always great to speak with over the phone! Thank you again Tune a tech! As a woman, I sometimes worry about car repairs. I have NEVER had that trouble with Tune Tech! The technicians are always up front about required services, and their estimates are spot on! Today the technician noticed the wrong steering fluid was in my car. I haven't had the car very long, but had he not noticed, it could have caused me a huge repair bill down the line! Just goes to show- these guys can be trusted!! The girl at the front desk is always cheerful, and a pleasure to work with, too!! (Sorry I didn't get anyone's name). These guys work hard, charge you fairly for the work and are very upfront with all information. Had a great experience and will return.Another visit 12/6/2022: TT just did another very intricate job for me using upgraded custom performance parts. They managed the job very well, communicated nicely, and came in below estimate. Bravo! Called Tune Tech from out of town for a Pre-Purchase Vehicle Inspection. They got it in quick and sent me a detailed list of everything that they inspected with pictures and quotes. Price was more than reasonable. If I lived in the area, I wouldn t hesitate to rely on them for my vehicle maintenance! Thank you, Tune Tech!
