Service manager couldn't have cared less whether I was a customer. He had very little interest in explaining the issue or whether I was interested in having more repairs done. Just more of the same unfortunately. Plenty on top notch shops out there with real customer service. Don't waste your money.

First impressions mean a lot and so far I must say this mechanic has great integrity. Good customer service, very informative, and never tried to take advantage of me like other mechanics I've been to. I will be returning if I need more work done in the future.

Quick friendly service! My fuel pump went out on my truck. They got me squeezed in and my truck fixed in a day. They kept me informed during the whole process. I would highly recommend.

David and Troy are professional, courteous, consciousness and honest. The service is beyond reproach. The quality of repair and maintenance is exceptional. I could not imagine ever taking my vehicle elsewhere. Guys were super friendly and quick! Engaged with me on a personal level which is a lost art in customer service. My driver s side window was stuck down which has been a real bummer in the summer and the cold fall/winter. If anything was broken inside the door, the cost would have been significant but the guys said it was just some bolts that needed replacing And the charge was minimal. It s so hard to find an auto mechanic you can trust but Tunetech has made it easy to know where I ll go next when a car needs help. Thanks guys!Service: Auto power window repair

Troy and David always take great care of me and my aging girl (Honda CRV). They take the time to talk through issues and (in my experience) charge very fair prices. They're also patient with my poor time management skills. ;) I have been taking my car(s) here since I moved to Boise eight years ago and have always been happy with the shop's work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

2 yrs ago, I came by strictly for a emissions test. Chose it over a mobile station since it had a good rating.The guys were friendly and quick, was in and out on a rainy Saturday within 10 minutes.My truck had been diagnosed with a problem by the dealer and I gave Tune Tech a shot at fixing it. They were able to do it on the appointed day and charged about half of the dealer's service center.I get nervous taking my truck into someone because I can't control every step of the repair - but they worked hard to earn my respect and my dollar.

I was leaving the city to move back to the east coast recently, and I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to break down on the 2.5k mile drive so I took my little Suzuki in to Tune Tech to get it looked at. Didn't get the best news ever - it needed a few repairs. Inspection was done the day I brought it in and when they got back to me they had an estimate ready. I don't like spending a lot of money on things I know nothing about, so I asked if they could hold my car while I sought out other estimates. They were very amenable, and the other quotes I got from two other places in town were comparable so I was comfortable having them do the work. Got my rear brakes, a CV axle, and my serpentine belt replaced quickly, took maybe a day and a half, and was on my way!Unfortunately, in replacing the rear brakes, something happened that left my parking brake non-operational. I was a little bummed, but I took the car back in and asked if they could fix it and an unrelated door handle problem that had arisen in the meantime. They fixed both that day, didn't charge me for the parking brake, and gave me half off on the door issue as compensation!In summary, I was really satisfied with the speed, quality and price of the work done on my vehicle as well as the consideration that was shown to me as a customer. If I still lived in Boise I don't reckon I'd take my car anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Straightforward, excellent communication, my car always gets what it needs, no more. I value these mechanics and their work and am grateful I have a reliable place to get my car taken care of.

Rude guy with the long goatee told me it'd be hrs to fix my valve stem. Place down the street did it in 20 mins.People don't know how they're supposed to take care of customers. I'll stick to the other guys.

I needed my engine replaced in my 2004 Ford F-150. The staff at Tune Tech ordered the block, and install kit and started on it right away. I wasn't in a rush, but these guys got my truck back to me within a week. They cleaned up the rest of the components and everything looks and runs like it's new again. I got estimates from the Ford Dealer, and another shop and Tune Tech's estimate was $2,400 less than the other shop. They've done many of these F-150 5.4 liter engine replacements, and I already trusted them, so it was an easy choice to have them take care of it. It now runs like the day I bought it (brand new) and since everything else is in great shape, I expect this truck to last me another 15 - 20 years.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Tune Tech was able to get my car starting again quickly and their prices were fair. I m a delivery driver and needed my car as soon as possible. No complaints - will definitely be going back for any more repairs in the future.
