Ronald and Walt are a couple of true professionals who care about their customers and take pride in their craft. Very cool guys and super knowledgeable. They helped me select and install the suspension lift on my Ford Ranger. I love the way my truck looks and performs. I ll 100% be going back to this store for future mods. Nice job Boise 4 Wheel Parts!

Response at bottom. Rip off.. scam... quoted me 5x what competitors did. Tried to justify price by making up how many hours to get the job done. I.e. "it'll take about 1 hour for each fender, 4 fenders will be 4 hours for each corner." Weird that it took your competitor 10 mins on each corner.. saving me over $2k if I had gotten it done through this company.Obviously just for the fenders would not be $2k... apparently it's not obvious to some, it's 2k total of my quote. And the accessories AND lighting was significantly less at a competitor. So trying to justify your quote by stating that I didn't understand it... well glad you think so low of your would be customers. Very condescending.. good luck to anyone else that tries this place. Just look at the responses on Google reviews.. you'll know what you're getting into.

I have been in the store three times now and the first two times could not get anyone to help me or care that I was in the store. Finally got help and purchased shocks from a guy who clearly made me feel like I was wasting his time. On my third trip to the store I needed replacement shock bushings for the steering stablilizer shock I had previously purchased and the guy behind the counter said "we only sell new shocks not replacement parts". Horrible customer service. Will not return nor suggest anyone use this business.

This review has been edited, please read the entirety of the review if you are going to read it at all, so as to not short the staff at this location.Start of original Review:Bottom line up front: I would be very hesitant to get an alignment from this shop.I live about an hour away from this shop, and when I was turned away from my local alignment shop due to having aftermarket control arms I called 4WP and set up an appointment to have my truck aligned. They quoted me a little over $280 which is expensive, but I figured being an off-road focused shop I figured I would bite the bullet and pay it to have the alignment done once and done right. I described my exact suspension setup, down to the specific control arms I have to them over the phone when making the appointment and they said it was no problem. On the day of my appointment I drop the truck off, and after about an hour and a half they tell me that due to the control arms I have the alignment will require more work, driving them to use an hourly rate, and giving me a rough estimate of $450 to complete the alignment. Mind you when I dropped the truck off Camber, Caster, and toe were all within specs already, with the main thing I was looking to tweak being the caster bias, moving it from the drive to the passenger side. At that point and hearing the higher quote I asked them to just put the truck back as it arrived so I could leave, not wanting to pay the higher amount. They charged me a total of $110 for the work they did, as they said they could not adjust the camber or caster. When I received the truck back and got on the road I noticed that the steering wheel was turned about 15 degrees to the left when the truck was tracking straight, and in a neutral position. I brought the truck back, and they attempted to fix the issue, but it resulted in the steering wheel sitting slightly turned to the right this time when tracking straight/ in a neutral position. At this point, having an hour drive to get back home/ to my job I had to leave. At the end of the day I had to take half a day off work, and pay $110 to leave with a worse alignment than I had previously. My desire to have the caster bias changed left me with no change to my caster or camber, but with a steering wheel that isn t straight. While the staff was nice and friendly, the service provided was totally subpar, and to pay over $100 just to generate a bigger problem for myself is a huge disappointment. I would avoid having your vehicle aligned here.End of Original Review.Edit: After posting this review Ryan from the store reached out, and offered to refund the money for the alignment. I want to make it really clear that I am not trying to rip on any of the staff at this location, they were really pleasant to work with, and I have no issues with them. The situation was unfortunate, and left me disappointed. While I will not be back to have an alignment, I would not hesitate to purchase items from the store, or have other services done, and I would like to commend Ryan and the store for great customer service following my interaction with the shop.

Thank you to Walter and Nick. Walter called me to let me know my RTT was in and got me scheduled quick. Wait time was decent due to all that was done and their customer service was top notch. Thank you guys!

The service department was above and beyond the call of duty. I took my lifted Nissan Xterra there for an alignment, and they showed me that my front upper control arm joints were bad. We ordered and replaced them with high-performance SPC upper control arms that are very adjustable and allowed me to move the front tires forward eliminating my over-sized tires from rubbing on my fenders. They had to trim my front coil, spring buckets to gain clearance and they did not charge me for the extra work. If you have an Xterra, you should have them put SPC upper control arms on your rig. I highly recommend them.

WOW ! Drove by and been to many stores/ restaurants close by, but never stopped in this place.I was looking for air bag suspension for my pickup, and though I'd go see if these guys carried that sort of stuff.I thought just a store that sells off- roading accessories.I was so taken back, the minute I walked through the door, they have it all and install it too !Walt explained the various products options, Ordered them, arrived in 2 days, installed them the next day.He went over in detail the operation of the products I had installed, and I can say that you will find a better experience anywhere, if you are looking for stuff for your truck. Thanks, you guys Rock !

I am a veteran and volunteer for a offroad recovery outfit. Was told by AL to contact assistant manager to get a discount. He said he would give me one. When I got the RC 6.5 in. Lift I was charged more then I could have gotten directly from RC.

I brought my truck to 4 Wheel Parts for some upgrades, I couldn't be happier with my truck and the experience. They took care of my truck as if it were their own and it is riding great. All their advice and guidance was top notch. Ryan was awesome to work with. These guys know their stuff.

I ordered online and after a week was on hold with the 800 number for 1 hour until I was hung up on. The gentleman in this store helped me out by not only helping me cancel my original online order, but also ordered me the part and is now shipping it to me. It all took a little longer than expected this way, but I was very happy with this solution. Hats off to personal customer service and those online people in California can screw off.

Friendly sales staff but execution is terrible. I ordered wheels and tires for my Jeep. They told me it would be 3-4 days to get them in. The wheels came in quickly but the tires did not. They never once called me for an update. I called weekly for almost a month and was given the same line of BS. I canceled my order and went to a real tire shop who had my tires in stock. These guys are a joke. Avoid at all cost.

4WP installed a dual ARB compressor for me about 5 months ago and it suddenly stopped working. I was very pleased to have them take my vehicle back right away and diagnose the problem. They replaced some fuses and decided not to charge me at all. Thanks 4WP!

This is the BEST shop I've been to for my little old jeep (93 yj)! They installed a 2.5 inch lift kit. And trust me, my jeep didn't make it easy for them. My jeep was fighting it every step of the way with rust and broken brake lines. But they didn't fear the challenge!! Now my yj stands tall(er) and now these guys are my go-to for any parts or installs!

Spent :25-:30 minutes planning a full King suspension for my 4Runner. I told the man at the counter I was ready to purchase now. He told me he would check on parts availability and call me back. I gave him my number. It s been two months and I haven t heard from him.Better off as I didn t get the greatest feeling here. Felt like the man at the counter was trying to push me towards Fox and Rough Country because the were more readily available.

Amazing place and super knowledgeable staff. Ask for Ronnie, he knows his stuff and he is a Jeep master. Legend has it that his father is the Norse god Thor, and he is closer to god than man. His insatiable knowledge for all that is Jeep exceeds expectations. He has a super sick TJ (definitely cooler than yours) yet remains humble. You will not be disappointed by the service and work of these forgers of steel and iron. I brought my TJ there for some suspension work and now it instantly gained horsepower, increased my street cred, and added a 1,000 plus followers on instagram. I now struggle with driving down the street because men and women stare are my Jeep in awe as I cruise by. The daily struggles went from daily driving a 22 year old vehicle, to numerous proposals for marriage, children, and companionship.I no longer fear wild animals in the road because my monster truck TJ can drive up the Empire State Building in 2H. I also have Ronnie in my back pocket who potentially possesses the power of controlling lighting (haven t confirmed, but he is the son of Thor so I can only imagine). I m not quite sure how the lighting thing plays a part in this but you can use your imagination.10/10 would recommend.

Great experience every time I come here. Super helpful staff that know their stuff! I called and they were able to get me in same day. Turns out I only needed a relay replaced and repositioned to fix my issue. I was in and out in less than 30 min ready to get after it!

I first started working with Ken and Walter. I got icon suspension and Method Wheels it was a long wait but they were on top of it and made sure I was in the loop. There was a little hiccup with the install dates kind of got mixed up but they went above and beyond and made it right. I'm definitely a customer for life because every one of the sales associates that help me was spot-on. Cody the manager and Phil assistant manager what double and triple check make sure everything was up to par thank you guys. You guys got an awesome team.

Went in for an alignment after switching over lift kits from one vehicle to another, they were very knowledgeable and were able to help tell me what was needed in order to be able to fully align it. Was impressed with the customer service received from Keneth, worked with me on how we could move forward on the build and get things 100%. Only gripe with the store is what others seem to point out, if you want parts for any vehicle they are more likely than not in stock and have to be ordered in. This seems to be due to a small warehouse, which cannot be helped but is the only downside. Other than that was happy with the service!

Love the store, plenty of shiny things to look at while standing in line. Quality products and excellent customer service when you make an in person visit to the store. The employees are more than helpful and knowledgeable.Only gripe that I have is that it seems like there is too much customer traffic for the size of this location and not enough employees to help customers in a timely fashion. Every time I've been in, the line is a mile long. It doesn't matter what time it is or what day of the week, people are lined up from the counter to the door. The same goes for calling the store on the phone. There have been many times that I have called and been placed on a "brief" hold, for anywhere up to 45 minutes. I could drive in from Nampa during rush hour and stand in line to get faster service. When the guys answer the phone they do offer the same excellent customer service; there's no negative reflection on them. However, if you're not sure whether or not 4WP has what you need and you cant find it online, avoid calling them.

I have been in the Boise store many times and for the most part, have had good experiences. However, don't call the this location and expect to get any assistance over the phone. The management staff refuses to maintain the necessary front staffing and won't come downstairs to help regardless how long or many times a customer is put on hold. If you want to get service, you have to physically go into the store.

They act like I wasn t in the store since I walk in. They only install their stuff they sell, not your supply or part. But when I order stuffs from them (like 3 times), it not in stock either, but when I order it, they said they gonna shipped to my house, which never happened and I have to go to the store to pick it up yourself. What a joke, and good luck trying to call them if you available all day of waiting, they always have an excuse like they short staff or they still update their system. C mon it s a big company brand.

I bought some Pro Comp headlights for my daughter's Jeep a couple of years ago. One stopped working, and of course I couldn't find the receipt. Walter and the manager looked up my information and were more than happy to warranty them out and give me new ones. Thank you very much.

These guys have jerked me around for over 2 months for a warranty for a set of tire that are at the wear bar and short 35k miles of the 75k warranty. I called and talked to Phil the manager available August 12th. I contacted over the phone or in person 3 more times and September 10th I was told my tires would be there in app a week and he would call me when in. It took contacting the regional manager to get a call back and have an invoice created and now they still have not ordered my tires. Now they want payment in full before ordering the tires, at this point they need to just order they have dropped the ball many times. I will never shop here again or refer anyone to this store. They are way out of touch with customer service and what that means.

Thanks to Nick & Phil for getting me set up quick and painlessly. All the parts I wanted were in stock, installation was fast and well documented. I feel confident I didn't make a mistake, and the pricing was actually better than the other local options as well. I'd much rather go here again than risk a questionable experience at the dealers or off road specialty shops.

I ordered a set of wheels for my RZR 900. Four days later i get a eMail stating that they do not have the wheels in stock and my estimated shipping date was over 30 days out from the manufacturer.I handle rescue and recovery calls in the Idaho mountains. I don't have time for shady sales practices. I ordered from a different supplier and had what I needed three days later.I also cannot get other things I need from them. They have not impressed me at any level. I will not shop through them again.

Places is a joke first bad experience was when I order some shocks and coilovers they told me they had came in a week later. Went to get them they sold it to someone else. Had to wait another 2 weeks after to get them back in. Went in again to buy a compressor and couple other little things I walked around the store for past 10 minutes carrying the box. I get up to the counter and the guys then tells me he can t sell it to me. Worst costumer service I have ever dealt with. Save your time and go somewhere else.
