Overall very great experience for being just a tow. Their new guy Mathias is amazing! He was on time, went above and beyond to ensure I got where I needed to go and gave me a lot of good advice and knowledge on popped tires as I know nothing about cars. He was very friendly and conversational and overall a very good representative for this company and he showed he cared a lot about performance and customer service. Even took my tire off for me! Mike is a good guy. He towed me all the way from Cascade to Boise. No rip-offs. Just an honest guy making a living.

They were late - but at no fault of their own. It was my provider that "forgot" to confirm my tow, so this has no effect on their rating with me. (I confirmed that my provider forgot by contacting both the towing company and my provider).Mathias was the driver and he was awesome with everything, from hooking up my truck, getting it on the flatbed, and delivering it to my tire shop.Thank you very much!Service: Special vehicle towing

What an amazing experience I had dealing with Mark while I was 7 hours away in another state. He was very kind and professional, helpful and so very willing to work with me no matter what the time day or night I had to call because there were several calls to him I had to make. I cannot thank you and Steve enough for all the help in getting the bikes out in a very timely matter and the prices were very reasonable considering the circumstances in which we were in. So thank you guys again for letting me disrupt your 4th of July holiday and family time just to help me and my family out. I would highly recommend you guys to any and all my friends and family.

Their battery packs were unable to start my car and they did not have the tool necessary to access the battery compartment. The driver needed to complete his previous call and deliver a motorcycle before he could return to tow my vehicle to my home he was given another call to answer. I had a car battery die up a trailhead outside of Stanley, ID. Triple A contracted out the call to Steve's. When the owner called me and heard that the car was up a dirt road, he told me that Triple A DOES NOT cover that cost. His driver was heading to help me, but based on the distance (4 hrs), the cost would be $750. The owner said that he would not do that to me. Instead, he called a friend in the town I was near and arranged for a local mechanic to come help me out for only $50. Steve's didn't accept any payment, but went out of their way to be kind and help me out. Great people - I highly recommend them.Service: Battery service

Service was exceptional, especially since I had several things wrong at the same time. Took a little longer to get to me because I needed a special tow truck. The link sent to me kept me updated on what had already happened, and what was going to happen next. Driver was concerned for both me and my dogs. Made a difficult situation pleasant. Perfect gentleman. Even the dogs liked him, and they were scared.Service: Car towing

I will forever be a member and recommend Steve's towing. The service I received today from Trevor was beyond excellent. He was honest, quick, and FIXED MY TRUCK for me, free of charge. We called him for towing and in the end it was just a couple loose spark plugs that he fixed for me right there on the spot. Honest, real people with impeccable service. Absolute A+

Great prices, were very thorough and took pics to confirm no body damage. I would give 5 stars, but they were 2 1/2 hours late for a tow I scheduled the day before. But stuff happens, and I understand. I would recommend them and use them again.

Steve himself answered a roadside assistance call in McCall when our kids were stranded at Cougar Mtn Lodge on New Year s Eve! He was so kind on a holiday evening when he could ve chosen Not to make the hour trip down to rescue them. My Verizon roadside assistance use then to tow my truck. Was suppose to meet me between 9:40-9:55 am. Contact Verizon, was told they got stuck in traffic (Full of BS!!) and would be another 25 min. 40 minutes late still no tow truck, no call from the driver, no respect from the company glad I wasn t in dangerous situation. The number the company gave Verizon was discounted. I finally cancel and request a new tow company. Never will try and use them again.

Called him and he hung up on us trying to explain our modified truck was not over 10k gvw. Refused to pick up the vehicle and just bluntly hung up. Thank goodness for B&W towing!! Call them instead

My mother was broken down along Curtis in her car that lost all power so flashers could not work she was stuck in the middle of the street and one of Steve's Automotive & Towing tow trucks was sitting behind her honking their horn and flipping her off flipping her off when all she could do was sit there they did not stop and offer to help push her out of the street as a company owner I know that my actions and the things I offer to do make a big impact not only for my company but also for my own example that I show I would highly recommend this company to talk to its employees about being kind and courteous to others and keeping obscene gestures to their selves and personal lives those kinds of things should not be tolerated in the workplace. I am not giving this review for any shoddy work practices by this company I don't know what kind of job that they do this is merely for the character of one of its employees

Kase fired Steve Automotive and Towing! We left one star. After seeing a review Steve made after us firing his company. We left no comment at all just one star. We know the truth about this owner and his employees. Steve i suggest you stop being a petty person. We have moved on and use your relatives company.Add on to the response a screen shot was taken of the original response by the owner which as now been altered.

These guys are very good at what they do. They have experienced people who know how to handle any of your automotive mechanical issues as well as getting your car to the shop. pretty fair prices too :)

Wow, an angel came from haven and literally knew my old mechanic actually (towing company owner is the dad of the mechanic great awesome people)They are literally a blessing how it happen, they discounted my miles cause they know each other, I got the cheapest tow of my life.

DISHOSENT AND SLANDEROUS COMPANY. Drivers are lazy, dishonest, and very rude. Do not use this service, there are many other towing companies in town that deserve your business.Edit: The company has also replied to this review making statements about law enforcement impound. Odd since I called them about my car skidding off the road due to ice. They were called through AAA and told AAA they can't come help me because I am on a forest service road (which I wasn't, it was a blatant lie). Not surprising though, and you can see by their reply to this they are not above lying. Also I am fairly certain it qualifies as slander.

I was stuck at the Horsethief Reservoir camp grounds.. my battery was dead =( Since it was a weekend, I was unable to contact my insurance company. Though Steve doesn't normally do battery replacements on Sundays, he still sent someone out. He verified that he had my battery in stock and they brought out the battery and they were able to start my car. The driver was courteous and professional and had me on the road in less than 20 minutes. Thank you!
