Dave has a life time of restoring cars and pickups. The problem now days is finding someone who will work on Hot Rods. But Dave not only will work on them but he understands what is needed to do it the right way. I am grateful he fixed (body and mechanical) my 1956 F100

I have an original 1967 Oldsmobile convertible that was, and is, driven irregularly and infrequently. One day a summer ago, its usually reliable engine decided it would not start, and did not sound good in trying to do so. I called Dave at Rod Wurx, who soon came to my house to check the car. It was determined that the car needed and deserved some mechanical repair. In the Rod Wurx garage. Dave did a thorough evaluation which found many issues with the original Olds, including the 1967 had many 1966 parts. Over a period of six months, a complete mechanical renovation was performed, with a few upgrades thrown into both the mechanics and cosmetics. These included a rebuilt motor, and renovated transmission, an new added dual exhaust system, a rebuilt heater - air conditioning unit, various new or rebuilt motor appendages, a reconditioned trunk, and shocks. Even during the pandemic, Dave found and obtained restoration parts from across the US. After driving the convertible over the past summer through desert and up mountains, the car looks great, is more fun to drive and I now feel safer driving it than ever before. I am very pleased with his mechanical and cosmetic work. I strongly recommend Dave and Rod Wurx for classic automobile restoration. You will be treated well, and the work is super.

I knew Dave from several car shows and had seen examples of his fine quality restorations. When I decided to restore my 50 Pontiac, I contacted Dave and we discussed what should be done. He provided me with a detailed plan of what he would do and for what price. As the project progressed, there were several additional items that I wanted added to my car. Dave explained what was needed for parts and labor. There were no surprise charges. I am very happy with the quality and pricing that Dave provides.
