What an amazing experience! Chris, the owner, went above and beyond to help me with my car trouble. He took the time to inspect it and discovered a simple setting on my dashboard that needed adjusting. Not only did he fix it promptly, but he also didn't charge me a dime! As a senior citizen, finding an auto shop like this, where honesty and reliability shine, is truly the greatest. Thank you, Chris, for your outstanding service!

Jaylon at Rod's automotive has been great to deal with. He has handled all the modifications of my 1959 Corvette from a new rear end, new transmission and engine.Communication was 100% always picked up and returned calls.Jaylon calledand gave me options when an issue came up.The pricing was fair and straightforward. It was so nice that the estimate was so spot on even including all the changes and add ons I asked them to do.

I have been taking my personal vehicles and Company fleet vehicles to Rod s repair for over 20 years. Service is excellent and I feel like the pricing is fair. These guys do a great job!

I had an issue with my right cv axle and rod's was an authorized repair shop for my extended warranty. The service was as great as I remember from years ago when I had to take my other vehicles there. Chris kept me in the loop on the status of the warranty claim/approval, as well as updates on when the part would arrive. The install was quick and performed correctly. I have never had to take a vehicle back for anything related to repairs I have had them perform in the past. I appreciate all their help and assistance as well as the friendly nature.Update: I just went back to Rod's and had my front struts replaced. They performed the work in a timely manner. The car handling feels better than when I bought it. I was expecting the price to be a little more than was charged out the door as i was unaware that the alignment was included in this replacement service. Thank you everyone at rod's as you all have treated my car and myself with respect and honesty. Keep up the good work.

They found and repaired my 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette had a bad miss. They used OEM parts. Runs great. Reasonable cost.

Not long ago, took an aging Wagoneer to Rods, expecting a death sentence. Chris Cassidy, one of the owners, offered to rebuild the engine in his " spare " time. Runs like a top. Big shout out to Rods.Thanks.Mark Gordon

I dig Chris and Robert. Like always, great service at Rods by those two. Long time customer. New brakes on my 2003 Sierra Denali. Took time to explain everything well to me. Price was perfect. They also inspected my truck professionally in detail before leaving shop and changed the oil. I'm ready to roll and pull my camp trailer with confidence this summer.

I had the most wonderful experience. IBrought my car in to do vehicle inspection.It had an oil leak.I had bought it from a small dealership and it started leaking oil.I wanted to take it to Rod's to have them check it out.They were awesome in checking everything and finding so much more wrong than what I thought was just a simple "little leak".It is going to cost a lot to get it fixed. I am taking it back to the place I bought it and see what happens. Hopefully they will do something about it.It was a used Subaru and a good price but of course because it had all those problems.There should be no other auto repair shops but ROD'SI will forever use them.The next car I get is going to Rod's first to get the ok I am not getting screwed again. .Now onto the customer service.Of course was great...!!!! I called and talked to Robert told him what I was concerned about and he said bring it right in.Robert is awesome and knows his job completely.As I said I will NEVER go anywhere but Rod's.So for ANY car repairs ROD'S is your place.Trust me...Thank you Robert so much.Oh don't want to leave Chris out either Robert was running an errand when I picked up my car and he was so nice also.Thanks guys....DebbieService: Vehicle Inspection

Gave me a quote over the phone that came in at half the price of all the other shops, still charged LESS than what was quoted. They noticed another problem and brought it up with absolutely NO pressure, and quoted a ridiculously reasonable price. I can see from my receipt that they then took off more from the second quoted price to make up for the oil that they had to put in so that they did not charge me more than they said they would for the second round of work I agreed to (even though they did more than agreed to). I called them the evening of 3/16 and they got me in the morning of 3/17 and had my car done by the time I got out of work at 3:00. Other shops are booking weeks out. Overall amazing experience, I feel confident in the work that was done (car runs perfectly now) and I don't feel taken advantage of like I usually do when getting work done. Super reasonable prices and Robert was a dream to deal with. Very friendly and personable, honest, and up front. Spent less than half of what I thought I would when asking for quotes from different shops, was charged less than what they quoted, and got the work done well. Highly recommend as I will not be visiting anyone other than Rod's.

This is my first time using Rod's but it will not be the last. I do most of my own mechanic work but this time I took it to the shop after replacing a thermostat and still having overheating problems. Diagnosed with a head gasket issue but threw the timing chain when it was being pulled into the shop to work on it. Rod's called to tell me what had happened and had options ready for me. I opted to replace the motor and was quoted $5,600. When I went to pick it up my bill was only $4,600. They could have easily put that other $1,000 in profit and I wouldn't have had any idea. This is the kind of integrity that seems to be a rare thing in today's world. Any work I have in the future that I don't want to do myself WILL be done at Rod's without a doubt.Thanks Robert and all the unseen staff for a pleasant experience.JohnService: Engine repair

I came in to Rod's Automotive repair to get my car checked out before purchasing. It took awhile for it to get looked at, which wasn't an issue as we just went to lunch and hung out in Boise, but the fact that they were able to get me in the day after I called was great! Not many places were willing to even put me on the books for a week out and I knew they were busy but they still accommodated. They did a super thorough job on the car and even wrote up an estimate for services if I decided to come back and use them in the future. They also wrote up a mechanics report for insurance the day after, with no hassle about it. They have great customer service and were super friendly the entire time. Overall my experience with rod s auto has been really good. My last repair seemed to keep taking longer then they were telling me, but issues are resolved and they are very affordable and they re good guys to work with.

We had an oil leak on our Van and were unsure what was causing it we dropped it off at rod's One day after calling to set the appointment and the Van was fixed and ready to go in just a couple hours. It's hard to find honest mechanics and I believe this place is one of the best! They diagnosed and fixed the issue and it was extremely affordable!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have been going to Rod's as far back as I can remember. After Rod sold out to the current owners I had some normal reservations. As it turns my doubts were overcome. They did a great job and Robert's guidance and patience with me through the process pushed me into this, the first review I think I've ever done. Thanks

This was the best experience we've ever had at any Auto shop in 7+ years. The cargo van was in pretty bad condition. They ordered all the parts and fixed within days. Great job on fixing my tahoe they gave me a quote and it was cheaper then the quote and that was really great. I still give the five star review but the only lil not so bad issue is my odo going in was 172k but coming out was 175k. But that's just a simple wrong press of the button but I highly recommend this shop.

Thanks so much again!! Got my car in and out!! Just took it in cause something was funky, they diagnosed it very quickly, they got the parts ordered quick got it installed fast and car runs better than it has in awhile. I will definitely be going back.
