Kevin is the absolute best! The shop fixed my Lexus and dealt with my less than stellar insurance for me. They detailed everything so it really was like getting a new car back. My vehicle hasn t looked this good in a long time. They made a very stressful situation as easy as possible. I can t thank them enough for treating me so well. Always always always make them your first call if you have car trouble.

Ben, one of the associates was so efficient.. he helped me throughout the process to fix my car . He interacted with the insurance trying to make things run smoothly. Totally recommend him and Toyota body shop.

Yikes. This was the worst costumer service I have experience. I had called ahead and spoken to Ben. When I arrived, Ben ignored me when I came in. After a few minutes I asked if I was in the right place. He clearly let me know I was I inconveniencing him. He begrudgingly looked at my car damage and gave an estimate. When I asked about scheduling the repairs he again seemed put out. I mentioned that he did not seem interested in my business. I left and went to a neighboring body shop where I was greeted by a delightful young man who took a look and quoted me 1/3 the cost Ben gave me. Needless to say, that shop has a new customer and Peterson s needs to teach customer service to their employees. Shameful.

If you are looking for timely body repairs, DO NOT go to Peterson Auto Body. I hit a deer with my BMW in July, which resulted in damage to the front end, and some damage to the radiator. I had the vehicle towed to Peterson. They told me it would be "a while" before they could get it fixed because they said BMW does not commit to any schedules for parts. I checked the repair progress occasionally, and they said they were "working on it", or that they were "waiting for parts" but would provide no schedule. After 2 1/2 months, I was told that they had finally torn the damaged portions of my car apart to determine what additional parts needed to be ordered. So with the prospects of another six weeks to two months of waiting (and continued charges for rental vehicles), I gave up. I talked to the sales people at Peterson, and they said they would take the damaged BMW as a trade-in, so I bought a new hybrid BMW. The sales people also said that BMW always provides an estimated time for delivery of parts. The conclusion--Peterson Auto Body is seriously overwhelmed and under-staffed. If at all possible, I would recommend that you take your damaged car elsewhere if you want timely repairs.Service: Body & Trim

After some damage to my car, I took it to a couple body shops that were not very thorough. My car is a Lexus, and Peterson auto body is in the same lot as the Lexus dealership. It did take far longer than if it was still 2019, for example. Despite our country and its various, and many, issues, they were quick (as possible), and communicative. The service/specialist, Eric Parker, gained any trust lost by waiting - he refused to go with aftermarket parts, and worked diligently to reduce the delays. These days, most body shops seem stuffed full, and this one is no different. However, if you can wait, (you probably will, regardless ) their service and professionalism will make up for it!

Nice to see a response to my review 2 months after I posted it :).Who exactly from Peterson responded below and whom should I ask for as I call the general phone number you left below?Very disappointing experience for several reasons, despite being recommended and paying a lot more more than competing body shops quoted. Left messages to address issues with GMs and owners, but no one returned messages or could make time to help. Would never go back and do not recommend.

After someone bumped into me in a parking lot and the gate was no longer working on my Rav4, I called around the valley and was told no one could get to it for 3 months. I walked into Peterson Autobody for an estimate, however they replaced the part and fixed the gate while I waited. I'm so grateful to have a functional door for the summer. Thank you to the excellent team at Peterson Autobody! I know where to go for my autobody needs now.Service: Body & Trim

After pre-paying for services 3 months in advance while we waiting for an available appointment, we were up charged another $345 for additional services needed a week into fixing our car. Matt & Kevin Tyler (the manager) were not willing to work with us and accept a check from the people who hit our car since they paid for it out of their pocket, due to company policy. Since this check was made out to them and not us, we had to pay for it personally. They were unwilling to accept the check or sign it over to us. They were unwilling to assist in any way.Service: Body & Trim

They get the job done and are professionals at what they do. No run around and they keep their word. Sometimes shops like to promise something just to get your car in and then you wait for ever to get it fixed. This shop is different and say it how it is long or short repair times. I took 3 cars there for major repairs and was happy with the result.

The repairs were done in a timely manner. They had to order a new hitch receiver because of the accident and being rear ended. At the time that we had to use the new hitch and we took it out of the box, it was the wrong size. We went back to Peterson and told them about the problem and all they could say is that it was past 30 days. This is a part that was order by them and they would not warranty it. The part was around $300.00 and this should be taken care of, because this was something that they did. Most of the businesses would cover their mistakes.ChuckService: Body & Trim

Kudos to Brian who was able to remove some stuck on grease on my back side fender! After a small vehicle incident in the garage which left some stuck on residue along with an almost invisible scratch and minimal dent, he quoted a price to repair those back to 'perfection' but it was out of this world $$$$! I can live the above as we're never selling the car and it's only visible if you get close and know where to look. But thank you Brian - we tried to remove that gunk w/no success.

I can't praise this shop enough! I was rear ended and brought my car in for an estimate. They helped me coordinate everything with the insurance company and they kept me and the insurance company up to date during the repair process when they found more damage. Between when I brought the car in for the estimate and when I was able to bring it in for repairs, I dropped a bike and scratched the car with the handlebars. I stopped by and asked if they could touch up the paint while I was getting my bumper replaced and they did it for free! It looks good as new. Best customer service in the Treasure Valley!

I damaged the front, driver's side fender flare on my Jeep on a trail run on Labor Day. I took it into Peterson Autobody on Tuesday morning and they gave me an estimate to repair. On Wednesday I got a call that they had the parts and I could bring the Jeep in Thursday. I took it in early Thursday morning and by lunchtime I had a call that the Jeep was ready. The Jeep looks like new and they had even detailed it so it was no longer covered in and full of trail dust. Great service from friendly and helpful people.

I've had service done here twice, both times through insurance after minor accidents (neither of which were my fault). After shopping around, I found Peterson to be more expensive than others, but the turn around was prompt and I was less concerned that the paint would match for Toyota/Lexus repair since they are attached to a Toyota/Lexus dealership. If I were paying out of pocket, I almost certainly would have found a less expensive option, but the work was done in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Arrived for an estimate for body damage repair. Told the service consultants what I needed, he was very thorough and explained each detail of what needed to be done and when they would be able to begin repairs. Another RAM Service deserving 5

Our daughter was involved in a minor car accident on September 21, 2019. We dropped her car off at Peterson Auto Body that evening. We called the shop on Monday, 9/23, to let them know what happened and to give them the name of the insurance company. We waited several days to find out if the insurance company would approve and pay for fixing the vehicle. Nobody called us. We called Peterson and they said they sent the estimate to our insurance company. We called the insurance company and they said Peterson sent them the wrong form. The next day (9/27), the insurance company said even though there was only damage on the left fender, the estimate was higher than what the car was worth, so it was considered totalled.Up until now, my husband had been taking our daughter to and from work each day. Our daughter could not afford a new car at this time, so she decided to have the car fixed and she would pay for the repairs herself. She would also have to rent a car because Peterson Auto Body said they would have to find parts for her car, because Dodge was no longer making the Caliber (2009 model year), and they weren't sure how long that would take. The insurance company told her to get a rental from Enterprise, and they would help with the rental fees. Well, to make a very long story short, it took 1 month to get her car repaired. We have never, in 50 years, had to wait so long to get a car repaired. Whenever we called to check on the progress, we were passed from person to person; there was never a manager available, except in the Sales Department. When we went to the main dealership to ask for help, we left a message for the General Manager, but he never returned our call. We then called and asked for the Sales Manager. He came on the line and said that the dealership has no control over the Body Shop. But, he said he would contact the Body Shop the next day and call us back with whatever he could find out. He never called the next day. We called and asked, again, to speak to the Sales Manager. A different Sales Manager came on the line and said that there are 5 different Sales Managers there and he wouldn't know who to contact. So, between the General Manager and 2 Sales Managers, we got no help at all from the dealership. We would not recommend this dealership to anyone for anything. Before we picked up the car, we were told by the Body Shop that they would have the car detailed. It was not.We finally picked up the car on October 21, 2019. So it cost her $3500+ in repairs, and $469+ in rental fees! We had asked if the dealership could loan her a car while hers was being fixed, and they said, "Well, if you were buying a Lexus, maybe we could, but not if you're just getting your car fixed..."When they finally fixed the car, they told us that we had better get the brakes checked, because the front left brake only had 20% left on it. So we took the car in to another company to check the brakes, and they said Peterson didn't know what they were talking about, because the left brake had 35 - 40% left on it. It just shows another Peterson screw-up!We can't think of any reason to ever use this dealership/Body Shop, unless you just have money to burn and time to waste!

I was recently in my very first accident with my 2012 Cadillac Escalade and took it to Peterson Auto Body for an estimate. They quoted me $1,000 over what it should have costed to fix it according to several other body shops, so for starters they are EXTREMELY over priced. Than when I recieved the check from Insurance for $2500.00 I was told the auto body shop had to endorse it but when I took it in the man was EXTREMELY rude and verbally aggressive telling me they ONLY would take the check they would not endorse it, speaking to me as if I was a criminal. And than he proceeded to tell me they wouldn't even have any availability for almost 2 months acting like i was a nuisance for even inquiring. Ripped up the $2500 check and will never recommend their services to anyone.

I was involved in a collision in my husbands truck and the other vehicle was at fault. The other insurance was paying for the repairs, however, Peterson's only repaired what the insurance adjuster told them to without fixing all the damage even after telling us that they would fix everything and send in a supplement. The tailgate of the pick up was not closing correctly and I was told to bring it back in to get fixed correctly. The hitch that was put on was scratched and appeared used as well, even though the insurance paperwork stated a new hitch should be put on. When I returned to have Petersons fix the tail gate as it was not closing correctly, one of the front desk guys (Lenny I believe was his name) was as rude and condescending as I have ever seen. Petersons then said they could only fix what the adjuster told them to, changing what had originally been said. It was apparent Petersons wants to continue getting references from insurance adjusters so they make sure not to ruin that relationship. Their work was shoddy, they were dishonest, and their customer service was horrible. I would not recommend anyone take their vehicle here unless you don't care how your treated or how good the work being done is. Ironically, the insurance is paying for the repairs and the work Petersons screwed up is being done at a different auto body shop.

Was gathering estimates for some damage to my car. A guy name Phil Jacobs flat out told me he would not compete with Maako, and then called my insurance company and lied to them about the damage to my vehicle. He tried to get them to discount the damage to my vehicle. A VERY UNETHICAL GROUP! Avoid like the plague!

They took care of everything and Kevin was exceptionally patient with me. We live on the Eastern side of Oregon and I was hit in Boise. The young woman who hit me didn't report the accident to her insurance company so it too an exceptionally long time to get things straightened out. All of the people whom I talked to were helpful and encouraging. They responded to my calls in a timely manner and were pleasant and very understanding. A special Thanks to Kevin, and Lennie.Deborah Lancaster

!!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!Do not take you vechile to Petersons Body shop! I had my 96 Dodge repaired there after bening hit in the rear end. The truck hops down the road and has used up the tire life in half the life. The tail gate was fixed, well some of the damage was fixed and some small places were not done, just painted over. On the left side is a decal "DODGE" on the right side well 4X4 should be there and they have never added it. If you need a painter, Call Todd Brown just don't take it to Petersons

I stopped in to see if my hood could be aligned as it was off from the factory. They came out and adjusted in a few minutes with no appointment. Very friendly people and great work.

Was annoyed they couldn't give me a rough estimate over the phone but when I stopped by they were able to quickly take some pictures and give me an estimate on paper.

Price was equivalent to what every other reputable shop quoted me. They restored my Toyota to its former glory after an accident and were flexible with my schedule.

I would definitely recommend them. People are nice; take care of your damage seriously. I had been there last summer. they did very well in-terms of repairing with a life time warranty.
