Website said they had the part I needed but they didn't and I was returning a part that I bought from a different Napa the guy helping me was just ok got the job done but couldn't pay enough attention and then the card I used had been hacked and he and I'm assuming the manager were debating whether to give me cash and I have to wait about 4.5 hours to get a part that's on overland to get to 16th st I'm not really in a hurry but what the hell happened to customer service. Where do you get these people I just can't believe that a nation wide corporation can't or won't keep a better eye on their franchises I've done business with you for 30 years I think I might start checking out other parts stores because I'm getting tired of people not knowing or caring about what they do if you can't be the best at your job find something else that you are passionate about that way every customer is happy with you and feels like you actually love your work. Very disappointed with how I was treated and I even more disappointed that you had to basically think about refunding me $2.11 guess having a Napa franchise your broke maybe you go out of business

They didn't have the parts, so they called another Napa store, closer to home, had them order the part, and I picked it up on way home. Great job folks.

Glad to find the oil I needed. Couldn t find the European synthetic at autozone or Orielly, NAPA has it. 10/10 recommend. Convenient central location in downtown Boise.

Very angry at this store. Our car broke down in their parking lot and we were trying to fix it. I asked to use the restroom and they refused. There is nothing close to go to. Compassion was not their strong suit. First time I have ever been told no restroom at a parts store. Totally glad I don't live in this area because I would never do business there again.

Very poor service to the point of " why are you here and what do you want". Over priced products, but the only reason why I give them 2 stars is because they had what I needed. If you're in a pinch then use them, if not drive on by.

We were rushing out of town for a long drive to get to a funeral when someone stopped us to tell us all of our brake lights were out. We stopped at this store hoping we could trouble shoot it and Gabe was incredibly helpful. He came out 3 different times to help us try to troubleshoot the problem and what it could be. We were so very grateful for his expertise and assistance during a particularly stressful time. Thank you Napa Auto Parts and Gabe!

Napa, like most retail operations, will fade off into the sunset as they fail to adapt to technology. Simple task, pickup a couple gallons of Prestone bug wiper fluid and winter booster for when we are in the mountains, showed in stock but was told it wasnt but that if that I ordered it online I could pick it up same day. Said it was in stock in eagle store so drove there, none on shelf but they had 4 in the back, but it was more expensive than if I purchased online, I asked why and they said online prices are cheaper. Great, instead of driving to a third Napa store I will order online and get free same day ship to my house, after much consternation I managed to place an order only to be called by that napa store to tell me they don t deliver to my address fancy computer should have figured that out when I input my address which is very close to the first napa store I visited. This is a great example why retail stores are fading into the sunset.

I was greeted promptly while the Manager was helping another customer. I described my brake light issue when it was my turn thinking it was the switch after doing my research but didn't want to pay a mechanic 140 dollars for diagnostics plus for what seemed like a straightforward replacement. I have no real experience with what could be an electrical issue and a dangerous issue on top of that so I needed some reassurance. I was told it may be worthwhile to avoid the diagnostics and just get the 9 dollar part to rule it out before I opened an expensive can of worms. I was unable to find a youtube video for my particular make and model regardless of year. I was informed that the same system was used in a Monte Carlo(GM) a couple years prior and there was a short instructional video that I could view. It ended up being very simple and the video was not needed. Regardless that went above and beyond to put my mind at ease. I saved hundreds of dollars AND the time AND hassle because of excellent customer service and expertise. My day is now free when I thought it was going to be a waste. Past reviews don't appear to reflect the current management and staff. Thanks Andrew and Lorenzo! When my beater breaks I know the place to go. Cheers.

My battery died and the Napa team helped check it out and even replaced it for free, since it was still under warranty. Great customer service! I'm glad I chose to shop here and will definitely be back! Thanks guys!

Hats off to Napa and especially Gabe. I walked in the store at 10 minutes to closing and asked if I could borrow their jumpstarter. Long story short my car was a couple blocks away and Gabe jumped in delivery truck myself I was on my skateboard. (dead battery)Bodda boom yadda yadda.Nicely done Napa!

Friendly, efficient, good selection some clerks, as usual, are more knowledgeable than others but willing to help. Dirt cheap price their NAPA synthetic oil every other month. Heads up: check the store hours at the NAPA web hours, some web references are not up to date.

Wow! This is a large NAPA facility and was impressed with the service and parts availability they had. I needed a new gas cap for my Chevy avalanche and they had both caps for this vehicle. They also run a number of delivery vehicles so that tells me they are a large volume store. Located downtown.

Bought a battery from the downtown NAPA store a little over a year ago. This spring it started dropping in voltage to the point the vehicle wouldn t start without a charge or by jumping it. Took it in for warranty and they decline to replace it, claiming it was good. Yes they tested it. It showed as charged (charger on it all night) but if they would have let it set overnight and tested again they would ve found a drop in voltage to around 10.5-10.8. I explained this but they didn t seem to care. This battery is for a Doctors car that needs to start when the key is turned. I figured if they didn t want to honor the warranty I would just give the Battery to the NAPA store. I went to Sterling on Chinden and bought a new Battery. I installed the new one and problem solved. No voltage drop. Not the best customer service or Battery warranty at the downtown NAPA store.

Very helpful! I broke down downtown, and after purchasing a starter there and installing it myself on the side of the street, the manager let Zach come jump me a couple blocks away from the store! That was a day saver!

It's not something I enjoy doing.... working on vehicles....But I have to say, Zack helped me through the whole process of water pump problems..... Went out and looked at my truck, explained it to a intermediate mechanic and was very helpful and knowledgeable....Would highly recommend going to Downtown NAPA....

Could not test my 20 year old alternator because they haven't bothered to replace lost connectors. Very disappointed. AutoZone had no trouble with it.

On August 4,2014, I purchased an ATK re-manufactured engine from this NAPA auto parts store. I was assured the engine had a 3-year, unlimited mileage warranty when I bought it, I still have the warranty papers. The original purchase price for the re-manufactured 305 was $1333.29 plus sales tax. The engine has leaked from the rear-main seal since day one, and when I approached Dyson's NAPA about it, they informed me that they would not honor their warranty due to not giving them the vin# to my vehicle, which is not stated in any of my warranty paperwork, nor was I informed of this on purchase of the product. They did not try to work with me in the least, simply giving me the number to Matt Dyson. Even if I do get some resolution out of Matt Dyson, I would recommend not buying anything at NAPA. The hassle is too much, and way too many times their help has put me on hold getting charged $.10 a minute on my phone. But to even be told they won't honor a warranty is completely out of line for any type of legitimate business. As far as I'm concerned, they are crooks and should be arrested.

While there are many shops you can buy your autoparts from, if you want knowledgeable staff who can actually help, go to NAPA

I'd like to address some issues listed below in no particular order. I am not an employee of NAPA. I use this NAPA store primarily for my parts needs. I travel across town to get there. I have not had a bad experience, but then again, I have realistic expectations unlike other people listed below. #1. Don't expect a part store to diagnose your problem or take a returned part that you bought thinking it would fix your problem, but didn't. It's not their fault if you guessed wrong. #2. If you go into the store and there's 1 associate helping lots of people because you came in at the end of the day and everyone's trying to get helped at closing time, then wait your turn patiently like a civil human being and don't complain because you procrastinated. #3. It's not their job to make sure you're getting the right parts if you give them bad information. Cars have so many options that if you don't know specific details like trim (EX, LX, etc.) or fuel tank capacity, they can't be held liable for giving you the wrong parts if you guessed on the options that they tried to clarify.People need to have realistic expectations. This is not Walmart where you can be an idiot and buy perishable groceries, not use them, and return them days later to be thrown away and get your money back (I've witnessed this). You are responsible for at least half of your problem. It's not their job to know how to fix or diagnose your car. Buy a shop manual, take it to a reputable repair shop, get the qualified information that you should have to pay for, then buy your parts or tools with some education so you're not having to come back and do it a second time and wasting their time and money and yours. Take some responsibility for yourself instead of blaming everything on them.

Friendly and helpful staff, I will definitely go back. I loved the fact that they listened and didn't treat me like a woman who doesn't know her cars. (I'm a female mechanic)

Browse Napa's part catalogue on the internet at home and pick up the part at the store. Their site is accurate for what's in stock and is not.If you have questions about the part the sales staff are knowledgeable and can help on the phone or at the store.

Clean store but they were out of certain stock like MAF cleaner. Plenty of other cleaner's for your greasy messes and lots of tools to choose from.
