I hand some fenders painted for my Jeep. Maaco did an excellent job. I had them painted black first and they were beautiful but they did not match my Jeep. They were extremely nice and understanding. They repainted them the color of my Jeep. They match perfectly now and they look really nice. They got them finished in a very timely manner both times they painted. I highly recommend Maaco.

I came to Maaco having done many hours of body work and prep myself, and can t lie I was a little nervous about how it would come out. Erica was very helpful and recognized how much I cared about the project. I decided to go with the performance package (base/clear) which came out to around $6,800. Yes it s a chunk of change, but if you do even the slightest research you ll find this is pretty cheap for a real paint job. I was happy to find that the result was a damn good application, and the couple minor areas I pointed out they had touched up quickly. The photos in shop are the raw Maaco paint, the ones taken outside are after a further wet sand and polish (done by Fair208). Overall the staff was helpful and patient with me asking questions and working through options. Definitely recommend!Service: Painting

Second attempt at posting! My first review was not publicly published for some reason.All I can say is, wow! It took me a while to find a place that actually did whole body painting, but I am so glad that I found Maaco. After 14 years, my car still has relatively low miles on it; however, due to never parking in a garage the paint starting peeling pretty badly. The whole process was easy! Even though they looked busy, Erica took the time to give me multiple quotes. The estimate came back as my "best case scenario", so at a time when a coffee costs $10, this was so nice to hear! After 3+ weeks at the shop, I could not be more pleased. My car looks absolutely beautiful! Seriously... I wasn't expecting it to look so darn good. And I feel good for having restored her to her original beauty instead of dropping $35k on a used vehicle. Thank you, Maaco :)Service: Body & Trim

Those guys at Maaco are great. Kind friendly and very helpful. I am older so I appreciated them helping me get my car side mirror painted and installed at a reasonable cost. Other body shops were 3 times as much.

I could not in all good conscience give even one star to Maaco-Boise, but I had to choose one star to be able to post. A section of the passenger door recess that was poorly painted, primary paint visible. Also payed $400.00 for pinstripes that were not done.

My initial thoughts were incredibly positive but unfortunately I cannot recommend Maaco after my experience with them. I'll preface this with the fact that I had completed much of the bodywork myself but wanted a better paint job than i could produce in my garage. We agreed on a mid tier paint job with an emphasis on the body work and agreed to a quote of $11,843, price including primer, paint inside and out, bedliner, ext. And the price seemed fair for what I was asking. the timeline as follows:The truck was dropped off in March of 22' and received in mid June. I noted numerous issues in the overall quality including flaking paint on the bed rails, raw metal/ primer on the bed sides, numerous pin holes in the bed, rockers, hood, and cab corners, the cowl was never flipped over so raw sand blasted steel had not been painted, poorly executed seam sealer, and other hardware not painted or was MIA. However, I was pleased to hear that maaco agreed to rework the truck without argument and said to bring it back when it was assembled.Truck was brought back to Maaco end of July/ early August with blue masking tape showing areas of concern and the truck was ready for pickup in September. I was disappointed to see that they had resprayed the truck without repairing the underlying issues, there were still numerous pin holes, areas that had not been fully painted, the cowl still raw on the underside. Only difference was the addition of hard masking paint lines on all body components. The truck was not running at this time and was left on site untill a decision was made on how to proceed, 6 weeks later they agreed to rework the truck.I will credit the owner with personally addressing the body work to make sure it was correct. I came out the same day to give the green light to continue with paint. The truck was picked up in October at sunset, unfortunately I did not notice the color issues untill the tailgate was hung later. The end result is a smooth finish with numerous shades of blue throughout due to the painter using the incorrect color and blending into the existing. When I reached out to maaco about possible solutions, the staff said "we have done enough for you already, if you want it redone it will be another 3 thousand dollars."I am beyond disappointed in the overall experience, quality, and service. I have begun to question the preparation practices due to easy chipping of paint and the finish peeling off the bumper. I have since gotten the truck back on the road but I am no longer interested in having it painted a 4th time by them. See attached picsServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Everything was awesome. They did a follow up with my paint job from several years ago that I had not requested at that time.. also coordinated a windshield replacement and even detailed my vechile before I picked it up.Thank you Maaco.

I was extremely satisfied with the work done to my Jeep. Their painters did a great job. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to give me a good experience. Levi and Erica explained all that I needed to understand about the process,great people to deal with. Go with confidence to Macco, Boise for all your body and paint needs.

Condensing a rather long story, I needed to replace an outside power rear view mirror. I went to 4 body shops to get estimates on what I thought would be a relatively simple and straightforward job. The prices I was getting seemed really excessive, the highest being $1500. I went to Maaco , who gave me an estimate of less than a third of that. As a retiree on a fixed income it was still more than I wanted to spend. Levi at Maaco then went to work and found an alternate parts source and a few ways to decrease the labor cost. I just picked up the car ,perfectly fixed, looking new and the bill was $150. I am very grateful to Maaco and particularly Levi. Maaco has my business and good will for life.

I am restoring a 1978 Jeep CJ7. I had a difficult time finding a company that paints entire vehicles as many only do collision repair. Overall, I had an excellent experience working with Maaco from the initial bid to the final product. Erica was awesome to work with! She was knowledgeable, friendly and kept me updated during the entire process. The team did a great job with the body work including removing old bondo, repairing and painting I was impressed by the workmanship! I am very happy with the final product and Maaco definitely exceeded my expectations. Thanks for your expertise and hard work I love my new paint job!!

I had a piece of rubber trim fly off the cab of my truck in the Car wash, I stopped by Maaco and they fixed it on the spot for a great price. Nice people.

They did a great job on our car. The best thing we can say is that Destiny is awesome. She does right by her customers. I read some poor reviews here, that must have been prior management. Good paint, good repair, good people!The review above was my first review. Then I bought my Fiat. Destiny and crew have turned a beater into a show car. This now beauty gets love from all over the world and nowhere more than Italy. Great shop!!!

Maaco did a great job repainting my faded hood and sun damaged roof on my 2014 F150. Looks like brand new! Their staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the process and the pricing was very reasonable! Thanks again Maaco!

They were efficient and friendly. Had some scratches on the back of my car which they buffed out and did an excellent job. They actually did the job while I waited. My neighbor recommended them to me and now I recommend them to you if in need of car paint repairs.

I had my 2021 tacoma tailgate painted. They were fairly priced, had excellent customer service, and did a great job on the paint. It was a perfect match.

This summer we took our 72 Chevy Van to Macco for a much needed paint job. The clear coat was gone and the paint was fading and there was no shine left. The Maaco team did an outstanding job bring her back to life. We could not be more happy with the job this team did and the great price. The paint and the bodywork done was outstanding!!Thank you Maaco for bringing our Disco lady back to life!!

Maaco painted my Toyota pickup truck a Lexus blue color with clear coat a few years back. Took it back this year to get all the dents taken out of the bed floor prior to adding a spray-in bed liner. Give these folks a shot, I miss the banter with the prior owners Dennis/Frank, but was very happy with the new current owners.

My daughter went in for an estimate on her car that was vandalized , someone had carved in COW with and smiley face on each door . Not only did they do a perfect job , they did one more thing for her . They did it for no charge ! They said they wanted to bring some light to something that was so terrible . They had no clue she cried for days wondering who would do that to her and was so stressed on how she would pay for it . People can be mean but there are some good ones out there ! Thank you to the staff for treating my daughter with a good heart.

Can't begin to describe my happy I am with my truck after taking it into Macco. My big girl got a whole new paint job, new rear bumper installed, new letters and new headlight. Not to mention they had to fabricate and weld the brackets to make the rear bumper fit properly and it looks amazing! Literally the best deal you can find in town and I highly recommend taking your car or truck here!

I was rear-ended before I even made my 1st payment on my car. I took it to Maaco and they were great to work with! They got me in much quicker than the other shops around town and had it finished at LEAST a week earlier than I expected. My car looks perfect again!!! Everyone i spoke with there was helpful, friendly and had personalities! Thank you so much!!!

Maaco has painted four of my cars, The falcon that they painted for me ended up having issues and swirl marks in the clear coat. Maaco stood behind their warranty and totally redid the clear coat. She looks amazing now! Thanks guys you rock!Service: PaintingService: Painting

Complete new paint job on my wheelchair ramp van and it is BEAUTIFUL! Everyone here at the Boise location on Fairview Ave. is exceptional in communication, customer service, courtesy, and skills.
