I have a small wood chipper that I couldn't get to start. Ken got on it right away cleaned up the carburetor and it has ran like a charm ever since. Ken has tons of experience working with small engines. I was very impressed with his knowledge and skills.

Thank you Ken for fixing my snowblower! Had called several shops, no one answered, except you - and glad you did. Getting me in and out on the same day before a major snow storm was greatly appreciated. Fair price too for honest work!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My sister in love trusted him and brought in her mower to be fixed. She is over 60 and cannot do it herself. We had just changed the filter. Spark plug. And oil in it. He kept it for a week before looking at it and telling her what was wrong then charged her 130 to supposedly do exactly what we had just done taking another week and once it was home it obviously had not been touched. She called and asked him why and told him it still didn t run and got an oh well attitude. Her mower is still not running correctly and lost 130 when she is on a fixed income. It s so sad how the people who really need help and are on fixed incomes are treated. Can t trust this place.

A waste of $130. Mower still won't run right. He said that he did a complete tune-up but it was obvious that at most he changed a spark plug and an air filter that I had just replaced. I would take it back to him but I do not want to be treated as rudely as I was when I picked up my mower. I do not recommend!!! AFTER ALL IS SAID AND DONE YOU STILL CHOOSE TO LIE!! HORRIBLE BUSINESSMAN.

Ken has been wonderful for me. I had a lawn mower that was too heavy for me to use and he fixed me up with one that is much lighter and works great.He was emphathic with my limitations because of back issues. In addition, I have used him several times for repairs and he has always come through at a reasonable price. And he will pick up and deliver! I highly recommend him. Fair. Honest. Old-fashioned Values.

Thanks for the offer, but regarding your response, I did not use varnished fuel. Less than 30 minutes passed between the gas station filling an empty fuel can and putting it in the mower only to discover it wouldn't start. When you tested the fuel in both the mower and the fuel can for water, they were both extremely clean. In 58 years of mowing, I've never encountered a mower not starting, even with gas that had sat over the winter. Thanks again for the offer, but I'll take care of it elsewhere.True story: I was recovering from surgery and had Ken pick up two lawn mowers for service. He picked them up and later returned them, but when I went to mow, neither would start. One was a newer mower that in four years or so never took more than two pulls to start, even when it was running rough. He did come to the house, and discovered the older one was obviously leaking a lot of oil; the other he blamed on water in the gas but could find none. He took the newer one back to shop, telling me he'd fix it and return it the next day. A week later, no word. After a phone call to him, he said he'd finish it and return it later that day, which he did, saying he'd found old gas in the carburator (something he likely would have found had he actually done the original work). It started right up and ran great.... for less than 15 minutes. Then it lost power, sputtered, and died. Waited. It started weakly, stopped and now sits with my yard half mowed. Most wasted $350 dollars I've ever spent. I will never return to his business and would never recommend him.

I brought my Stihl chainsaw to Ken and he really didn't know what he was doing. As soon as I put the saw under pressure ( started sawing a log it would bog down. I brought it back to him and like I said he had no clue. I got taken by a weekend mechanic who has no certification and just guesses. Sorry but I would not bring my stuff back to this man

Great work!! I Brought my gas-powered generator to Ken. He got it repaired quicker & charged me less than expected. It runs like new. I highly recommend Ken for small engine repairs.

Ken does great work. He picked up my generator and serviced it quickly. With the great work he did on my generator, I recently had him work on a mower that sat outside for 3 or more years because I couldn't get it to start. He rebuilt it for a very reasonable cost and the mower runs great!

Ken did an excellent job repairing my Cub Cadet. Had an issue with the cutting deck. I worked on it for three days and couldn't get it to lift even after watching you tube where they teach you how to fix anything. He did the repair in just a couple of days and got it back quicker than anticipated and very reasonable cost. Thank you, Ken!

Quick turnaround during the busiest time of year! I had a riding lawn mower, chipper/shredder and line trimmer all done and tuned very well with in a week when everybody was three weeks out. I dropped them off and said essentially "This one smokes and the others just need a tune". Ken did an excellent job taking little information and doing only what needed to be done. A true pro. Additionally everything was cleaned too and never looked better. Highly recommend.

Picked up my generator Ken ran it for me for a few seconds seemed to be fine when I picked it up. Took it camping the next day and used it but it did not idle right which is the reason I took it in the first place. Got home from camping and when I took it out of the truck I noticed that the generator had leaked oil. I opened the cover and checked the oil it was OK, but there was oil all over the inside of the case. In the bottom of the casing was half of my air filter dripping with oil. I removed the cover of the air filter and it was also saturated and dripping with oil. I pulled off the top of the cover so I could get inside better to clean out all the oil. While cleaning I noticed the brand new fuel filter that Ken said he replaced was on backwards. I flipped the filter around but it still did not run correctly. I contacted another company to fix the generator. I explained that the carburetor was supposed to have been cleaned but it was still not running right. I got a call an hour and a half later he was on his way to return the generator it was fixed. They said that he just opened up the carburetor and cleaned it out there was a silicon piece and debris. There was a screw that was over tightened and had to be replaced and a broken plastic cover that is on top of the carburetor. He also said that the back of the air filter housing was glued back together. The generator was out of the box when I purchased it and not sure how that would have happened. I called Kens number a few times no answer. I called one last time and left him a message and of course no response. Definitely ripped me off and messed up my generator more than he fixed it. Kens has also moved works out of his house now.

I highly recommend Ken's Small Engine Repair! He is very accommodating, helpful, and fair. I called Ken inquiring on his service. Same day, I brought my lawn mower in and he looked at it right away. I asked if I could stay and watch in hopes to learn a thing or two as this is my first lawn mower ownership. Ken was patient and talked through what he was doing. I learned four or five things on the basic care and preventative. Thank you, Ken!

I had Ken service my lawn mower and it has not run this good in years!I am more than impressed, TOTALLY satisfied! Now, using my mower is a pleasure rather than a pain in the...... (PITA)....Kudos to you Ken!! Finally someone who does what they say they will do.Ken has become my go to guy too! Also, Highest recommendation.Tom M.

I'd been struggling to get my lawnmower fixed because I have a small car that I can't use to transport the mower. I had called a couple of local repair shops, which quoted me high prices and llong turnaround times (3-4 weeks). Ken is professional, has very reasonable prices, plus he picks up your mower and then brings it back once it's ready. I only had to wait four days to have my mower in working condition.

Ken gave me an estimate to rebuild the carburetor my chain saw. The estimate was extremely reasonable and there were no surprises when I came to pick it up. He completed it extremely fast. I will always use him. He's a really nice guy too.

I took my mower for sharpening and the blades aren't any sharper than when I took it in. I had to re mow several spots, very disappointing.How come when I mow there are many long spots of grass that need to be re mowed, it's not any different than when I brought it to you. Very poor customer service!

Ken so knows what he is doing when it comes to lawnmowers and engine repair. I was desperately needing my lawn mowed and my lawnmower was not working. Ken came right over he fixed my lawnmower and not only did he fix my lawn mower but he mowed my lawn for me he is great I definitely would recommend Ken for any job. And for the ladies, I recommend him highly. Ken may not be marriage material but he is terrific in bed. Whoop Whoop

Found Ken's lawnmower repair through Google search. Went to the address listed in the Google Ad and found it abandoned. Called the number and Ken said he had moved to Kuna, but that he did pick-up and delivery. Took a chance. He picked up our mower the next day and kept it for a week. Delivered in excellent working condition, blades sharp and running like new. Would use Ken's service again.

Our John Deere lawn tractor was burning oil like crazy. Upon the recommendation of a friend we called Ken's. He picked up and delivered the tractor, fixed the problem (rings), and cleaned the mower all over. The tractor has more power than ever and cuts the grass better than ever.

To whom it may concern,I have known Ken and considered him a good friend for about 35 years. I have worked for him and had him work for me. Ken fixed my weed waker that wasn't starting because of a loose part, Ken fixed it with no issues, charge a fair price, then told me if I had any more issues with the part, he would replace it with no charge for labor. Ken is an honest bussinessman, and I will define tell referring my friends and family to him in the future. Thank you for the quick turn around!

I appreciate Ken picking up my mower and weedeater, repairing and sharpening them, then returning them promptly. It is so nice to be able to do my own yardwork now. Seeing the photo of his giant fish makes me wish I could go too.

I just wanted to let Ken know how much my wife and I appreciated his EXCELLENT and prompt service!! He repaired our Toro lawn mower that has a history of carburetor issues. It now starts/runs like new. We had work done by other shops in town over the years but never with this great of service!! No other shop has ever offered to pick up the mower and also deliver it after it was repaired! Wow! Like ol' Zig Zigler used to say "If you do a good job, You are always invited back!!" I have taken many small engine repairs to Ken over the years and he's always quick, sufficient and precise. I would highly recommend this man for any small engine repairs that you have. Plus, his dogs are cool!

Ken is a genuine "find"! We called him midafternoon on Saturday and the snow blower was delivered (fixed) on Sunday! This was the Saturday of our big snow storm and he clearly was busy.

I dropped my Toro off in MAR to get the drive cable replaced and to have a stall out (carb) repair performed. The drive cable was repaired but the stall out persists--first time I used it since the repair. I called back to have it re-inspected and that took a week to get a return call requesting to have it dropped off. I dropped it off a week ago and have placed 4 voice mails over a week now and my mower is still there and I cannot get a call back. I really don't want to disrupt all these glorious reviews, but I can't get my mower back nor can I even get a call back--let alone repaired.
