I have worked with them for several years. This time my 99 Buick had turn signal issues. We replaced the light and holder a couple times. They were able to figure out the problem and this time it's working well. They were able to work with me on the costs involved. Being on social security isn't easy to stretch the dollars. I think they were very good.

Everyone there has been helpful every time I ve gone in for parts for my 70 s and 80 s Chevy pickups.Also cool that the family has been in the local moto scene for years!

$300 for $30 of parts. They changed a fuse and GLUED my front lights on. I asked for a headlight fix and they didn't even check the rear. Other things I asked for were ignored entirely. Absurd price for terrible service. I feel scammed

The workers are so sexist and rude. They were about to charge me $130 for just looking at my car that took them 10 minutes. They talked to me like I was an idiot and used all these big and technical words just to confuse me. They said that literally just checking the codes to my battery (something I could do myself) would be $500 dollars and then the charges would only go up from there. And when they told me that one of the guys made the money sign with his hands. This is the worst experience I ve ever had with a mechanic shop ever! Apparently their employees have made the assumption that women know nothing about cars. When I told them that I was going to get my car coded by another shop for less than $200, Dean told me that it was a waste of time because I would come back to their shop anyways. And every time that I went into the shop, they ignored me until I got right up next to their desk and said something and even then they ignored me and kept working on paperwork like I wasn t even there. This place is the sorriest excuse for an electrical mechanic shop and I regret even stepping foot into their building.

These are great folks! They had my issue solved in no time! You can tell they care about their customers. I d definitely recommend them to anyone with auto electric problems!

I needed my alternator replaced, my appointment was scheduled for Thursday but I dropped it off the Friday before, after they had already closed. The friendly and knowledgeable crew had my car done by Monday morning, 3 days before my appointment! I was prepared to spend a ton on a rental car but they saved me that expense. Fairly priced, quality work and I m beyond happy with my service. Thank you!

Was referred to Huskey by another shop because they didn t work on wiring problems. Got my car in on a Wednesday and Friday got a call saying it was done. Never called to tell us the problem or an estimate. When I asked how much it was going to cost they told right around $300. Showed up 2 or 3 hours after they called me and it still took 45 minutes to pay. Nobody told me what s going on just me sitting waiting with no other customers in the store. Two other employees playing on their phones finally after this guy typed up a recipe for a had written bill he tells me it cost 1025. When I questioned the price given before he started that was for parts. Why just give someone cost a parts when they are asking for total cost. The place is not up front and way over priced for the low budget and backwooded operation they are running. A lot of other reviews the same as mine wish I would have reviewed them before going there.Service: Electrical

I was initially excited to go here after reading all the positive reviews; but they let me down. I asked the business to replace one problem which I knew was the issue with my vehicle. They did that; however; they decided to also replace light bulbs and other fuses that I already knew were out without my consent - no phone call. When their shop time is $120/hr and it took them a total of 2hr 20min they were trying to rake in some money. I brought that up, and they refunded me 7 minutes or $14 and sent a guy to go take out those parts. When the guy went out, he walked directly across my soft bed cover which is now damaged as a result as it's not supposed to take any weight. The entire project should have maybe taken 1 hr from start to finish (thats how long it took me to replace it the first time, I just wanted it professionally done). Initially gave 1 star, however I went back and we were able to come to an agreement.Heres my breakdown:0 stars for communication. I later found out they did not replace the plug and did not communicate that to me4 stars quality of work. I went under my truck and they did a good job rewiring the part I asked for.Service: Electrical

Huskey Auto Clinic is that native shop known well for honest, reliable, and fast service! The gentlemen handling front desk and service scheduling is an amazing feller always smiling, no matter the weather.I definitely recommend for quality fast service that deserves to cost more than the average shop because of the consistency in amazing service all around.

They got my light fixed. But at $360 i think its to too much money just to fix a light!!Just keep in mind they charge $130 hr labor work

I had taken my car in to be fixed for a throttle issue and after a couple days was told that they couldn't fix the issue and it was a dealership issue so I had it towed again to the dealership and was informed with pictures, that all my cars components (wiring) was left hanging out and not put back in their original places. The dealership has told me that they would take at least 2 hours to put it all back together just so they can even begin to diagnose it. This has cost me extra time and money that I never should have accrued because they couldn't do the basics of putting things back together as they found it. I am completely disappointed in the workmanship and will never recommend this place to anyoneService: Electrical

Been there twice. Both times fast service and solved my cat electrical problems. Definitely recommend and will be using them again for my truck restoration.

Ernie and Chase were amazing! I had no expectations of seeing them when I called this past Friday. But they got me in that afternoon, diagnosed the issue and actually had the part I needed for my 2004 Ram 2500. Had it installed and I instead of about 1K repairs - I was in the road in under $200! I get it - the stars line up perfectly for me, the had a slot to wedge me in on a Friday. They had the experience to chase down the issue, and they had the part I needed despite Chrysler discontinuing the parts. Trifecta!!! Will I use them again?! I live out of state and my sons truck had an electrical problem that Ford didn t fix. Dean helped my son and got him going for a very reasonable price. I couldn't ask for better service or professionalism.Absolutely recommend them, hard to find old school values and people that care these days. You will find them here.Service: Electrical

Refused my business because I drive a Mercedes. It was a simple wiring job. Apparently they only work on American cars. Shop employees also ignored me for quite some time before asking if they could help me. So I wouldn t recommend in the slightest, even if you do drive an American car.

Forest was a great customer service rep. He gave me a lot of his time to help figure out the model starter I needed replaced for an old tractor. He did research to find out which one was available to me and shipped it fast. Then he followed up with a phone call to make sure the part worked out. Thanks Forest. I have come here two times now and both times I experienced great customer service, which I think is a big deal when we're talking auto mechanics of any kind. It is important to trust the people working on your vehicles. The folks at Huskey are professional, kind, and go above and beyond to help customers. Prices are also very reasonable for the service being provided ($90 an hour may sound like a lot, but you have to understand the work that goes on here, $90/hr is very reasonable for auto-electric work). Highly recommend going here if you need any auto electric work done.Service: Electrical

I took my truck in to have the fifth wheel electrical plug moved to a regular trailer plug position. Thank goodness they found all of the wiring problems I wasn't aware of and fixed them.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Top notch shop for all your auto electrical needs - took in my alternator and starter from an older truck I was working on. Wanted to keep it original, they did an excellent job. Dropped it off on a Monday and had both back by Wednesday. They told me to bring in my old points style regulator and they would make sure it was good too... took them only a few minutes to check it out and said it was all good.

I just recently took my old ford pickup in to have two new fuel pumps put in. They allowed me to source my own parts from Amazon to save money and did excellent work in getting them installed. They stayed well within what they quoted me and my old truck is running good as new. I couldn't be more pleased with these guys. Also, this is my 2nd time utilizing their services - I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and use these guys the next time you need work done. I worked with Eric and he was just awesome. Thanks Huskey!

These guys rock! I took my Ford Explorer to them and they were able to correct the issue in a timely manner. They were affordable, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend them for any electrical needs you may have.

Huskey Auto Electric used to be my go to place for auto electric. We started using them when were farming years ago. They are probably still good as far as rebuilding alternators,and generators etc.Today I went out to start my pickup. The battery is dead. I took it in a while back and was charged a little over $100 and told my latch on my glove box is broken allowing my glove box light to stay on and that was draining my battery. New battery, new alternator, my battery is dead again. Wind back to March. I took my pick up in with my camper on it and asked them to install a battery, a battery isolator and a plug for the camper.I stated If it is going to cost over $550 to email me and gave them my email address. I told them I will be out of country and will not have phone service, make sure you annotate this on the work order I will be able to check my email daily and will contact them if they had questions. My directions were annotated on the work order, I checked with my own eyes that my email was on there. I returned home and called on my pickup and camper. I was told the total was $1116.00 I received no emails. They were very friendly and apologetic, but would not discount anything, or give me a break on the price. I will no longer send anyone to them for automotive electric work, and will never go to them for work.

Did an excellent job getting my car back to me super fast. Did a great job explaining the issues and didnt nickle and dime me. Wuld recommend anyone to go to them for any car electronic problems.

Huskey rebuilt my 6 volt generator for my 49 Chevy 3100. The technician that done the work called to let me know the generator would need more parts then originally expected. He explained the issue and made sure that I was OK with the change in price BEFORE he did the work. The new price was still much cheaper then buying an exchange generator. Thanks for your excellent service.

I recently brought my 1966 Lincoln Continental to Huskey after having many problems diagnosing non-functional power windows. I am reasonably mechanically inclined, but shuddered at the thought of haphazardly replacing window switches at nearly $130/ea. by myself. Huskey narrowed the issue down to just 2 switches, and 1 lockout switch on the drivers door. They were able to source the (very difficult to find) switches and rebuilt the lockout switch in-house. I have trusted them in the past to work on another classic of mine, and I'm happy to say that in the 20 years between visits, their level of service and quality of work has remained excellent. Windows are now working very well. Many thanks to the technicians and to Eric who stayed in regular communication with me updating progress along the way! Great job all!Service: Electrical
