The kindness of strangers It was one of those stressful days where you go around in circles trying to get help, almost reaching the end of your proverbial teather. I was trying to get a repair done on my camper top that prevented me from driving my truck any distance. One place I called wanted $300 to come to the north end to do a simple repair, another place after driving in circles was out of business, another, another etc etc that's how my morning went until I happened upon these Angels Dave, owner of Boise Valley RV and his lovely, kind employee Steve ( " no problem Mamm") who jumped right in to help me. No whining, no excuses that they couldn't get to it until next Christmas. I love catching people doing kind things so I am sharing with you-all. AND... the owner Dave wouldn't let me pay ANYTHING even though I tried to insist. He and his wife have been in business 43 years so you know they have been doing something right! Yea for the kindness of strangers !!!

We've had Boise Valley work on several of our RVs over the last 15+ years. They're always honest and helpful and highly recommended!

Dave and his crew are the most honest RV business in the Valley. I have tried several service centers, and finally found Boise Valley RV. Dave is that old school, honest mechanic you can actually trust. I will always get my RVs serviced at Boise Valley RV!

Call these guys if you have a hard to find part you need. After a call to everywhere I stumbled across these guys. As a fellow parts person, I appreciate the good help and you having what I needed! Worked like a charm!

Great staff and excellent customer service. I needed to weatherize my RV and they took care of me on a moments notice. I highly recommend them. I will be using them for my future service needs. #campingworld has a thing or two to learn from them. I would never take my RV to camping world again. Boise Valley RV Repair is definitely the place to go.

Great personal help with our RV needs. The staff was friendly and knowledge. They worked with our schedule and theirs to coordinate a time that was convenient for everyone. The repairs they did look better than factory. This will be my first call if I need any help or service for my RV.

Always a very helpful shop, and does great work. Dave is very honest in his repairs and does his best to minimize your out of pocket. He could have easily sold me a $600 new furnace, but instead sold me a $75 control board and instructed me on how to install myself. My first stop for parts and repair work.

I called the shop with a trailer black water/clogged toilet issue. Their workload was 3 weeks booked before I could get in however, they said if I wanted to come down they would show me what to do and lend me their trailer wand! A little different than a wizards wand but it still worked like magic and they didn t charge me anything! Kudos to the very helpful and generous gentlemen who helped me get back on the road. I would highly recommend calling them when you need a professional! Thanks guys, you are AMAZING

We had such a great experience visiting today. We called for an emergency repair while traveling through the area from Seattle. John was able to take a look right away when we called and had us back on the road within 20 minutes. They were so friendly and had amazing service. This truly saved our family vacation.

Consistently high quality, professional service. I trust this business for all my RV service and repair. I like my 2004 Class A to be in top condition. This winter, I had Boise Valley RV install a new stove, install Smart TV, repair exterior paint, replace decals, and professionally repair a few of my handyman emergency fixes. No matter what needs work on my Winnebago Adventurer, Dave and his crew have been able to make it like new or better than new. They also installed a solar power system that is working fine. When I leave on a trip, I have confidence that my equipment is in operating condition and looks like new on the road or in the campsite. Rod's Auto Repair a block away takes care of the vehicle underneath.

I bought an older trailer that needed quite a bit of repair (it looked better in the pictures!). After calling a couple shops, I was surprised that everyone recommended Boise Valley. After stopping in and working with their staff, I now know why. Great people. Fair price. Honest.

I have been there on multiple occasions. They seem to have everything and know about as much. As soon as my warranty runs out, they will do all my repairs.

Buyer beware Boise Valley RV DOES NOT stand behind their work nor acknowledge their mistakes.Summary: Despite scheduling an appointment 30 days in advance, Boise Valley RV took 3 weeks to complete 8 hours of repair work (no parts required). The delay forced me to get a $140 winterization I would not have needed had they performed the work at the scheduled time While winterizing my motorhome they failed to reconnect the water line to the ice maker and the ensuing leak caused $150 in mold damage to bedding materials, $200 in repairs, and significant disruption to my 6-week trip The owner Dave denied my request for reimbursement of the $200 repair invoice saying that he did not get a chance to inspect the cause of the leak and that he doubted whether his people were responsible for this mistake Background and detailed description:I ve been a customer of Boise Valley RV (BVRV) and have spent approximately $6,000 with them over the past four years. In mid September 2020, I contacted Dana at Boise Valley RV to schedule some interior and exterior repairs on my 40ft diesel pusher. They were busy at that time, so we scheduled an appointment approximately one month later on October 22nd.On November 10th, 21 days after my scheduled appointment, Dana called and told me my coach was ready for pickup. When I arrived, he presented me a bill for $802 which was almost entirely labor (8 hours) and included $140 for winterizing the coach. Since I was preparing for a February trip south, I asked him what I needed to do to un-winterize my coach. Dana responded, just add water . He thanked me for my patience and I took my keys.During my 6-week trip I had constant issues with numerous water leaks on both sides of the coach. I contacted Dana who helped me troubleshoot the problem and discovered that they had left the main fresh water valve open. Closing the valve reduced the leaks significantly but they continued when the system was under pressure. As a result I had to finish the trip without using the fresh water tanks.Upon my return home my primary RV Repair Technician came to my house to troubleshoot the issue and found that the numerous leaks were caused by a disconnected water line to the ice maker. My technician charged me $200 for his time and suggested I let Dana know what happened. He emphasized the danger associated with water leaks and resulting mold.On May 12, 2021, a few days after re-attaching the water line, I brought the $200 repair invoice to Dana at BVRV to make him aware of the issue. He apologized for the problems I had encountered and indicated that he would need to bring this issue to the owner of BVRV. Dana said the owner (Dave) would call me with his decision. On May 16th, after not hearing from BVRV, I called BVRV and spoke with Dave. He informed me he would not reimburse me for the $200 repair work. He told me I should have brought the coach back to him to perform the repairs and questioned whether the issue was related by BVRV s work. I asked Dave if he would like to hear the story behind my request or speak with my technician who had offered to talk with him, and Dave responded flippantly with go ahead if it will make you feel better . I asked Dave if anything he was about to hear would change his mind and he said no and hung up the phone. In summary, I didn t say a word when I was originally billed $140 for a winterization that was a direct result of BVRV s failure to complete my work in a timely manner. I also didn t request any money for the bedding that was destroyed due to mold. I was even a little reluctant to talk with Dana about the $200 in repair cost I had incurred because of their oversight. The money we are talking about in this case is not significant. But when I encountered the incredible lack of ethics and accountability that the owner of BVRV demonstrated I felt compelled to tell my story so future customers could make an informed decision about where to spend their hard-earned dollars.

Had a leak in the freshwater tank. Repair completed on time and for 1/2 the original estimate as the problem wasn t as difficult as they suspected. I appreciate the honesty, & I d much rather support the local business opposed to a dealer where I know I would have been hosed.

It was my first visitand I was pretty disappointed...the two older gentlemen behind the counter were rude and unfriendly however the younger guy was super nice. It was late Friday and they seed in a hurry to get me out of their way with my RV they just winterized. When I got it home I saw substantial evidence of safe to the outside bin where they accessed the pipes and they left a pink mess in the sink and shower...I was not happy and will look elsewhere for help next year.

These guys are so well mannered, and so helpful. I spent 4 hours on the phone with direct tv getting "transferred to the right department" for something that the guys at Boise Valley RV explained to me and helped me with on less than five minutes with complete genuine kindness. These guys rock!

Needed a toilet valve for a Keystone Carbon 22. John new exactly what it needed and installed the valve quickly and for a reasonable price. The authorized dealer had the trailer almost all day and got nothing done. They wanted twice the money and told me the battery was dead. Not so. The disconnect was on. Took it to Boise Valley RV and had it repaired in 2 hours.

Servicing all years, Boise RV is unique in it's service of vintage RVs.We had never owned an RV with a bathroom. We bought a '75 Layton. Unfortunately, the water system was clogged with scale and debris. Boise RV replumbed and we have a working toilet and sink! Yet to try the shower. Thanks, Boise RV!

I'm a do it yourself guy, couldn't figure out why my furnace wasn't working. John here at the store helped me test my existing electical board in the furnace and found it was bad. They had the right one in stock at a very reasonable price and he walked me through the basics of how to install it. One hour later my heater was working, thank you John !
