We ve been customers of the Auto Surgeon for a few years. Super reliable, fair prices, and great service. The only complaint is that they are busy, so sometimes it takes a while to get in .but they do a great job and are quick when the car is in service. Can t recommend them enough!

Had our ABS light come on and they were able to find the loose electrical connection within 24 hours to get everything working properly again. They kept us in the loop from beginning to end and fulfilled expectations.

Honest mechanics! I have done a review before, but find myself once again blown away by the honesty and integrity of this work crew. Their kindness is off the charts!!! Ladies, don't waste your time with other shops, just go to these guys - they're going to be honest with you even if you know nothing about cars. Honest, fair and well priced. I love Auto Surgeon. I purchased a car for my son, it needed some work to get it ready for a trip to LA. Rob was extremely helpful. They checked it out and told me what needed to be done and make it safe for the long trip. We were under a time crunch and Rob went above and beyond to make it happen. My 3 sons hit the road and made it safely to LA! I could not be happier with the service from Auto Surgeon, I will not go anywhere else for service!

Dis plase did do work on car to make start agin. Good job too da workers dat do work 4 cars. Good plase to fix ur car and stuff. There printer technition did good job taking my money. Da mecanic/pokemon trainer did good install water pump and stuff.

I have a vintage Land Cruiser that has been in my family since it was new in 1987. The local mechanic in Garden Valley apparently can't be bothered to work on a car with a carburetor and a manual choke that they can't plug in to their electronic diagnostic tools. So I have to take it to Kevin at The Auto Surgeon in Boise. He has the old time skills and the patience to diagnose problems, hunt up hard to find parts, and keep my beloved Land Cruiser on the road. I don't know what I would do without this great little shop. I'm sure he is good with late model cars too.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Battery, Oil change

Couldn't be happier with Auto Surgeon. We have taken our vehicles there for over 5 years and have always had excellent service at very reasonable prices. Great local owner and friendly shop. The parking lot is always full for good reason. You can call and drop your car off the night before which makes it very convenient. I trust them to give a fair price and do quality work each and every time.

The shop is busy. The team worked on my newly purchased older Jeep Wrangler and did a great job diagnosing and fixing a tedious emissions problem. They took care of some other glitchy things. They explained a lot, we re kind and patient. Showed me some thermal images from a diagnostic tool they used. Very professional, thorough service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Everyone at Auto Surgeon has been SO great with repairing my Subaru. They have great communication, very reasonable for their service, and they go above and beyond for their customers! Thank you guys! I will be referring my friends and family here for any auto repair needs!

Kevin and his crew are honest guys and good mechanics. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment here (because they are so busy), you're in good hands. I was quoted an outrageous price for repairs by the dealer, and brought my car here instead. Now, it runs great! You won't get any bs at this place. They tell it like it is and give a fair price to fix things.

They fixed my vehicle faster than I expected . We thought that I was going to have a 1000 dollar repair after talking to them on the phone they looked everything over again and figured out that the new blower unit was not wired correctly. Quick fix saved me a huge repair bill. I will be coming back with more businessService: Engine repair

Kevin the mechanic was excellent!. Im a traveler driving through Boise on my way back to Colorado. When I had an issue with my engine. I googled Auto Surgeon and called the shop about 20 minutes before they were closing. Kevin told me to swing by so he can take a look at it. I did and him and his associate or boss and fixed and addressed my problem. No charge to help me out!! That was so professional and awesome.

I was in a pickle and needed fast service as I was a traveler coming in from Mpls and heading to Oregon. Even though they had a full repair schedule they were able to get me in, take a look at my electrical problem and get it resolved quickly!! These guys are amazing and are very knowledgeable on auto repairs!!! Couldn t be more thankful! Highly recommend this place. Great group of guys.

Kevin is a great mechanic, fair prices, and great mechanic work. I send all my car repair work to him. Everyone in the east Boise area should give him a try, you won't be disappointed. If you want an honest, fair Mechanic bring your car care needs to Kevin, he'll treat you right!

I am more than impressed with this business. My car was dead and I was sure it was going to be expensive. In the same day they helped me tow it and find out it was a simple battery cable connection. I only was charged for the towing! Wow what an honest and outgoing business. I will definitely be back and refer to anyone for their car repair needs.

I would not take my car to anyone else. Kevin and his staff have treated me, my family and the several friends I have referred, top notch. Prompt service, and always the best price when I have gotten quotes elsewhere. I have put over 200,000 miles on my Cadillac, thanks to Kevin and The Auto Surgeon being on my "team". Love them and tell everyone I can about them!

I have been taking my Mercedes to the Auto Surgeon for several years. Kevin and his staff have always provided excellent service. They willingly share their knowledge, answering my questions and explaining the workings of my car. I get consistent, professional service at a fair price and I trust their work.

I just had my 1997 BMW worked on. It was in bad shape. I received excellent service and advice. The cost was unbelievable in the low range. I would recommend to everyone to try them out. You will not be disappointed. Thanks so much guys, you are the best!!!

I just want to say this business is top notch !! My car broke down on the highway An without hesitation Kevin loaned me a tow strap with no questions asked An saved me 80 dollars on a tow that a lot of other businesses would have suggested ! Auto surgeon has worked on two of my vehicles thus far An they do great quality work I suggest having your vehicle fixed by these true professionals!! Boise needs more honest mechanics such as these guys

We moved to Boise over a year ago and have been struggling to find a trustworthy and good mechanic. We finally found them!! Auto Surgeon is efficient and affordable. They have gone above and beyond for us. My car broke down on a Saturday morning on the way to a baby shower I was hosting. I called them in a frenzy and they came out to where the car was stranded, took it back to the shop, fixed it and delivered it to my house - all while keeping in touch with me to ensure my safety and let me focus on the baby shower and not stress about the car. They aren t open Saturday s, but they went out of their way to help me. The way Auto Surgeon handled that situation made us customers for life. I wouldn t go anywhere else because I know I won t receive half as good of treatment.

Took my BMW here to diagnose and fix a few different issues I was having with it. They were total professionals fast, reasonably priced and got it fixed correctly the first time!! Most definitely would refer family and friends here!!

Honest and dependable service. I live in SE Boise and I had my 4Runner serviced for maintenance including brake pads, transmission, and coolant fluid flushes. I spoke with Kevin on the phone and at one point he was working on my vehicle and while simultaneously talking with me :) "I'm pouring the transmission fluid as we speak." The service is flexible and accommodating. I dropped off my vehicle the night before, paid over the phone and picked it up after work.

superior diagnosticians. They have extensive knowledge of all makes and models and will always clearly outline the options for repair. They have worked on both my family's cars and are always prompt, thorough, and fairly priced. Kevin actually dropped my car off at my house...come on who does that?I will never take my cars anywhere else for anything beyond an oil change. Not exaggerating.

I needed a new starter in my hatchback. I couldn't believe how little they charged for parts+labor. I paid more for a similar starter at least 10 years ago. The car has started ever since. This place is wedged into a strange lot, but don't let the looks fool you--it's a good shop.

We had two cars that needed specific fixes to keep them running for the time being. Kevin and his crew quickly found the problems, gave a fair price, and didn't push us into further repairs (which both cars badly need). We had the serpentine belt on one replaced when it was being squeaky. When it started being loud again, we took it back and they found that they'd had a faulty batch of belts. They replaced the old belt with a new one, no charge. I'll be using them again.
