Charged nearly double what was quoted. My key fob was broken when I picked it up, it was fine when I dropped it off. They wouldn't take any responsibility for that either. Great place. Was traveling through town on a fishing trip and in a pinch these guys got me in and out quickly, got my truck fixed up, and everything is running smoothly.

Had a great experience working with Hillside auto. They replaced my 2008 Tacoma stock suspension and upper ball joints. I had a bit of rust throughout, which did cause some extra time to repair, but they communicated with me, wanted to make sure they got the job done right and safely, and good value paid for the work done. Thanks you all, and special thanks to the nice lady at the front desk. Will bring my vehicles here without hesitation!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Tim is - without a doubt - one the best mechanics I have met. Super honest and very friendly. Incredible service and attention to detail, even when working on an old Toyota 4X4 like mine. With Steve helping out in the office, you can't beat the team at Hillside Auto. My brother drove across country twice and made a point each way to have Tim work on his Honda Element.

My experience with Hillside Auto Repair was so great I want to come back to Bellevue, ID anytime I m having issues with my vehicles. I was in town for a wedding and the day I go to leave, my stock starter on my 99 4Runner goes out. (Lasted for 253k miles). Calling in, I got a friendly hello from Marrissa in the office and she was very helpful getting me in. After meeting Tim and Scott in the shop, I knew my vehicle was in good hands. They got me in and back out on the road in no time. Also, I went in to town and everyone had nothing but great things to say about Scott and Tim and the work they do. Thanks Hillside Auto Repair, you guys are awesome!

Had issues with my vehicle heading back to ND, I called several places that said they were too busy, but Hillside Auto went ABOVE & BEYOND and made sure we got in, even though I'm sure they were extremely busy! They ordered the part and we were back on the road again not even 24 hours later! Thanks again =D

Jim's (Now Hillside Truck and Auto) is definitely the best shop in the valley. The owner, Tim, is a very honest shooter with the best truck knowledge around. Tim has fixed a few "ghosts" on my Ford 7.3L super duty with expertise and is more than happy to say, "paying me to do that is a waste of your money," which to me is the mark of a good mechanic. I started using Tim about 2 years ago and will never go anywhere else.

I dont recommend this company. I took multiply vehicles in, on seperate occasions. Long story short, the owner was RUDE, I was charged for services that were NOT repaired, I was charged more than quoted on yet another occasion. I will never take my vehicles back to this mechanic, and I will NOT recommend this mechanic to anyone I know in need of these sorts of services. Go elsewhere is the best recommendation I can give.
