Mike has always come through for us, and we won't trust anyone else with our cars. Stanley is a great guy and super friendly. Sandy is always efficient with keeping us informed, seeking approval for work and sending invoices with pictures of work that is done. They are always busy, so expect you might need to leave your car overnight. Call ahead to schedule oil changes. Mike is great about explaining everything to you and is reasonable. He's also generous and trustworthy! Highly recommend them!

Mike and his team are the most personable, honest group. My family and I have been taking our cars there for several years, and we have always experienced wonderful treatment and reasonable pricing. Definitely recommend.

My daughter is in college in Rome, 7hrs from home. Mr. Ford and his staff have been great to her with repairs in the past. Today, someone rear-ended her car. She called Ford's and they sent someone out to inspect it to see if it's driveable on the spot. The mechanic was there as quickly as the police officer. Above and beyond service! Thank you Mike Ford's!!

They care about their customers. Every time I ask someone in town about the best auto repair shop in Rome, they answer one of two shops. Mike Ford's is in the top 2. I would trust them with my car

I had one of the very best experiences that I have had in a long time with car service. Professional and friendly. Loved how family oriented they are. Shuttled me to my work which was an added bonus as I waited for my car to get worked on. They have my business for sure. I had been looking for an honest and safe place for my car work and feel I now have a place. His son even fixed a vibration on my car that had been bothering me for what seems like an eternity that Kia could never find AND did not charge me!! I cannot say enough 10 stars for sure. If I could give 10 stars I would!THESE GUY'S GO ABOVE AND BEYOND for their customers.My van's battery died and I limped it to Mike Ford. I am very wary of any mechanic these days because I don't know much about vehicle repairs and I'm new to the Rome area. Mike and his crew were so personable that I almost felt like I had known them for years even tho we just met. I explained the situation to Mike and he had one of his men go test my van. Turns out my alternator was completely fried. Mike sat me down and explained in very great detail what he would do in my situation and then recommended cheaper solutions. No one tried to sell me anything, no one tried to use fancy mechanic language to charge me more or anything. Mike was CRYSTAL CLEAR about what I would pay upon picking up my van.The service didn't stop there. I told Mike I didn't have a ride home because my van was my only vehicle at the moment due to my car having body work done to it. He informed me that they offer a free shuttle service and would do me off where ever I needed to go in Rome. I couldn't believe it. Free?! Yes indeed, a kind older man by the name of Doug drove me to pick up my other vehicle ( it was in a body shop and became ready for pick up while I was waiting) free of charge. Before I headed out Mike also informed me that he believes in helping people and said that if I ever needed simple things during business hours such as a flat tire replaced or locked my keys in my car he would send someone or come himself to help me with those problems during business hours.I was blown away by Mike's genuine nature of wanting to help people. I was very satisfied with Mike's service. I was able to explain the problem to the mechanic that worked on my car (not just the people at the desk.) They were able to fix an electrical problem with my radio/SYNC system that was draining my battery. The mechanics are knowledgeable and listen to you. The prices are reasonable. I will be using Mike Ford's in the future and will be recommending the shop to my friends and family. Thanks!

The owner is great. He goes the extra mile to make sure he can accommodate you to get you to and from his shop if you have no one else to help you. He is very trustworthy in getting your vehicle fixed with the best quality parts for the best price possible. I have used other shops in town that knowingly put a poorly rated part on my vehicle just to get the money...knowing it probably wouldn't last very long.

I have been using Mike Ford's for 5 years since moving to Rome. They are always kind, professional, and honest. They explain what is going on with your vehicle and go the extra mile -- for example, giving rides if you need to be somewhere else in town while they are working on your car. Since I am new to the area, tried Mike's after reading all the positive reviews when my check engine light went off. Everyone was super professional throughout the process, even going so far as to drive me to my home and pick me up when they were done with the car. They were honest in their diagnosis and treated me very fairly- will be taking my vehicle here from now on.

Trust! That is the key word for why I have been using Mike Ford Auto for more than 15 years. Price is important, but trust is even more important. With Mike, I do not have to sacrifice either. He personally is an awesome mechanic and he employs other great mechanics. You can trust Mike with your daughter's car and your wallet.

Mike and his mechanics are amazing and trustworthy! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone I know! I am not from the Rome area originally so it s nice to have someone that I can rely on to give me honest, accurate, and affordable solutions for my vehicle!

Mike and his guys have handled all of our auto repair needs for years. We have completely ditched the dealers, who charge more for lower quality work. We've never been dissatisfied with a services, and will consider him as the only choice in the future.

My daughter goes to Berry and we live 4 hours away, so when her car had problems I was nervous that she would be taken to the cleaners by a mechanic. The early diagnosis was that she needed a new compressor for her air-conditioning, which is big money. I agreed to get it fixed, but once Mike did further diagnosis, he realized it was not the compressor. He could have done the work and charged us, but he did not and the fix was much much cheaper. It is good to know there are some mechanics you can trust and knowing my daughter has a local mechanic. Thanks Mike!

I lived in Rome for two years. Visited Mike Ford a number of times for oil changes and some bigger car problems. A great trustworthy local place for car repair and maintenance.What I appreciated the most was when Mike himself sat down with me to explain (in layman's terms) what was going on with my car.

Good people at front desk. Yes this matters for a good experience. Vechicle fixed up as needed. Price was average. I don't believe I was over charged as compared to other Shoppes around town here. I'll be back if I have to have more repairs for sure.

I'm amazed at the honesty of this shop. Sadly, we often expect companies, especially in the auto business, to squeeze as much money as possible out of us, sometimes by over exaggerating the urgency of the problem. Not so with Mike Ford, they were honest and told me I could hold off on some repairs that a different place told me I needed right away. I will definitely be returning to this business in the future!

Mike is more than my mechanic, he has beome a trusted friend. I came to him too long ago to remember the exact year, but it was from a recommendation by my wife's co-worker. That was the best bit of advice I have recieved in years. To me the main ingredient I seek when searching for any vendor (mechanic, plumber, A/C man, etc) is trust. Being the cheapest isn't the determining factor. Do I trust them, means the most to me. Mike and his whole crew of guys and gals past that hurdle, for me, long ago. If you are looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic in the Rome, GA area, Mike is my first recommendation.

I want to thank everyone who put their reviews on this because I moved to Rome last May. I was not sure where to go for my car to get fix. This shop got the best reviews. I am also deaf and I was worried if I might experience some communication barriers but NO!!! This Shop is AMAZING. They made sure I got allmy communication accessible and they are so wonderful and really kind. I highly recommend everyone to come to this shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Wonderful mechanics and the owner and staff are extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Soon I need to make an appointment to get my car checked. I would definitely recommend Mike Ford to anyone because I know I can trust them to be honest and reliable.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.I got a bumper to bumper used car inspection done by these guys. This took over 5 hours, but I'm not complaining about that because I would rather it take longer than to be too quick and things get missed.They gave me a list of problems with the car, along with estimates of everything.They quoted me $347.63 for an oil change and a top up on antifreeze!!!!One problem that was listed on the estimate was transmission shudder. How would they "fix" this? By adding a transmission fluid additive. What automotive professional would "fix" a transmission problem by adding a $10 fluid additive instead of finding the root of the problem?I took my car to Mike Ford for an inspection because of the good reviews. I would never bring my car there to be fixed. I mean a $347.63 oil change is absolutely ridiculous.Not to mention that they drove my car for over 40 miles to see that there was indeed a shudder, like I had already told them there was, only to tell me the way they would fix it is to put the additive in. Outrageous.

Highly recommend! Take all the family vehicles here. They are super nice & always go above & beyond with customer service. May not be the cheapest in town, but U get what U pay for. We have never had a problem with any of the work done!

Had brake pads installed. A month later had an issue with padsand they replaced the pads without and problems. Great customer service.

I was in Cedartown visiting family for thanksgiving and my wife had noticed a grinding sound when we parked the car after driving from Texas. I called the day before thanksgiving and asked if they could take a look. They said they were full but would take a look to make sure it was safe to drive back to Texas. I drove up to Rome and Mike took my car for a drive and put it on the lift to check the suspension. Everything was fine and there were 2 items that would need attention soon but would not be an issue for driving back. It was very busy there but everyone, including the customers were super nice. Mike is the kind of mechanic that tells you when something needs to be fixed or if it can wait another 10000 miles or so. This is one of the hardest things to find in an auto shop and is likely why they are so busy.

Mike's great, only place that I will let touch my car. They do great work. So if you are having a problem go see Mike the work is guaranteed.
