Our first time scheduling a job with Dave Tribble and his team: in short, very satisfied! Why?For me, and I expect others', transparency in a person often leads to trust. I trust, Dave. He explained in detail all about Jasper Motors, the cost, why, before I even scheduled this engine-install. This communication continued all along the process, finally leading to the finished job.Mr. Lewin

$150 on a diagnostic fee is criminal. I asked if there was a fee beforehand and the dude said nothing but "we'll look at it". All mechanics are just money goblins. I usually let the guys at Douglas county auto care look at my car and I've never been charged. I wanted to try someone new in my local area and it went poorly. The diagnostic sheet doesn't even fully address the main issues I was concerned with, they just printed error codes onto the sheet.

Came and assured them I didn't need anything done unless it was gonna be done today. Came with my own parts and was assured it'd be doen the day of. Then an hour later I had a call that my car was more broken than when I brought it in. They told me they couldn't do the job as required and resorted to hitting it with a hammer. They specified that normally when this happens 2 swift hammer strikes does the trick but mine required more than 20 strikes to seperate. Can't imagine why it broke. The whole reason I brought it in is Because I don't have a press and didn't want to resort to a hammer. They reassured me that he knew what he was doing and would evaluate if it would be finished today or not and call me if so. I didn't receive a call till parts broke. They wanted to charge me for the breaking of parts and tried to keep my car. Not the first time I've had a shady shop try that on me. Should've just garaged the car till my main shop Allpro subaru was able to look at it. Was in a time crunch and made a bad call.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Tribble's is the best! They perform high quality work and charge reasonable prices. Recently they replaced an alternator on my Dodge Grand Caravan. They gave me several replacement part options to choose from and had the repair taken care of very quickly. They are honest and trustworthy and wonderful to work with. I whole-heartedly recommend them!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Best experience I have personally had at an auto repair shop. The customer service is excellent and the car repairs have all been excellent as well. I would recommend Tribble's to anyone who needs work done on their vehicles. I think it's also worth mentioning that I was never pressured to have additional work done. So many times in the past when I've brought my car into other shops to have specific work done I would end up getting a phone call from the shop telling me that something additional really needs to get fixed. This has not been the case at Tribble's. If additional repairs were really needed I would trust that the folks at Tribble's were being honest about it. When you don't know a lot about cars that really means a lot.

Easy Access, Reliable Service At The Right PriceI've been a customer for about six years now and have recommended Tribble's to MANY people. You can get your vehicle in in a reasonable amount of time or on 'short notice' if needed. They do the work they say they'll do at a realistic price and don't try to sell you something you don't need or, at least, that you don't need now. On the rare occasion when they've made a mistake or not completed something to my satisfaction, they've gone out of their way to make it right.

I have taken my cars to Tribble for many years. Now many of my children take their cars there. I have no reason to look somewhere else for car service. They have always done a great job. The labor shortage may slow down their turnaround time right now so schedule your maintenance in advance.

Amazing customer service! We were looking for a reliable mechanic and our neighbor recommended Tribble. We purchased a used car through Carvana and had seven days to decide if we were going to keep it. Jeff and the other technicians went above and beyond with inspecting and making recommendations on whether or not to keep it. Wonderful experience!!

Professional and friendly manner, people who are familiar with good customer service and layman's explanations (incredibly important, cars are an in-depth study). They worked on my car thoroughly and at a fair price. I would say that they're adept at their business, fair, and trustworthy. And like Debbie said, woman friendly. I'm not trying to prove to anyone that I should be dealt with honestly and respectfully only because I know how to check my transmission fluid and have read my manual. And if I am, I'm not paying that person too! Too much work.

I have been going to Tribble for years. Started at their former location. I have two older vehicles and can always depend on the guys atTribble to take care of any problems that come up. I am a female and never worry that I will be taken advantage of in the repairs of my car. Very honest and courteous. Wouldn't go any where else. Highly recommend you give them a try..

Very happy with my 1st visit to Tribble's Automotive. I needed an oil change. (The previous automotive business I frequented had closed.)I described something that was occurring with my car and after listening to my attempt to describe it, David suggested what the problem might be, and suggested I check my records before they do a tune-up, to be sure they do not duplicate services, possibly saving me money. I will schedule a tune-up and I will take my car to Tribble's Automotive from now on.Service: Oil change

Trustworthy and knowledgeable. One is at the mercy of car repair places. Old cars and trucks wear out and you can spend lots more than they are worth, but Jason and crew at Tribble's do a great job to get you back on the road again. Quality parts and service done right.Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

These guys do great work and are honest about what needs to be fixed. I have taken both of our cars to them for repair and have always been happy. I have also referred several friends there and have gotten great reports back!

I am so beyond the stars for Brian to take such great care of my Honda. I needed a new time chain and when I went to tribbles through reference it was the best decision I made because he ordered the pieces I needed and took such great care putting it in. Worth every penny spent. Thank you Brian! This needs to be your local garage go to

Poor customer service! I came in to have a broken stud repaired, not a complicated job, and after an hour long wait on my first visit (with a two year old in tow) they decide to tell me the part they ordered from down the road is out of stock and won't be available until hours later. So we reschedule. The next appointment (again with my two year old), we wait an hour again only to find they have the wrong part. The manager had zero sympathy for my situation and basically said, "stuff like this happens, it's the parts store's fault." Although they finished the repair at that visit, he wasn't apologetic about what happened. Good customer service is taking ownership of problems, and making your customers feel like they are being taken care of. Didn't get that vibe here.

I came in to the shop and was told by the service adviser that he would "work with me" to save me money on the replacement of the upper control arms and lower ball joint on the Ford. I provided the parts and was told that the cost to install them would be around $500.I explained that I was on a limited budget and a vet, and the service adviser said that he would "work with me" (to me that means finding a way to save me money) - I dropped of the car and was told that I would get a call once the truck was ready. No one called me, so I called after 2pm and was told that the truck was ready.I was shocked when I was told that the bill came to $545+ for the labor. I mentioned this to the same service adviser and he said that is all that he could due. I'm very disappointed with his word and the trust I placed in the shop.I was not even given the old parts back, so i don't even know if all of the work was done.I do not recommend them as a repair place

Dropped off a 2011 Buick Enclave on 12/21/2016 @ 11:30 a.m. with the passenger and rear heater not working. They never called me back that day as they said they would, finally I called them and they said they would look at it the next day. After the assessment they told me the cause of the problem was the water pump. I agreed to have them replace it for $440. They then called and told me it was fixed and ready for pick up. My wife picked it up and 30 minutes later called and told me the heater was still not working. Of course when I called the repair shop I got a whole line of excuses about why it was not working but I'm out $440 and still have the same problem. How do you tell a customer that you fixed a problem when you didn't? Definitely do not recommend this shop.

My family has been going to the Tribble's for years. You won't find anyone more honest, helpful, and kind in the car repair business. I currently live in Atlanta and I drive the 35 mins to have them work on my car because there is no one else I trust more than the Tribble family. I highly recommend their business.

This is about the10th time I've updated my review of this shop, I am always surprised at the expertise they have. Awesome, honest, expert tecnicians. The company stands behind their work, and has always provided excellent service. It is worth the drive from anywhere if your car is not performing as it should. I highly recommend Tribble Automotive to anyone who needs any maintenence or repairs on their car. Lastly, Curtis rocks.

Refreshing to find honest hard working folks in 2015.Had a past relationship with Tribble and David with a past employee who used Tribble for repairs. I reached out to David with n issue on my pickup after a fifth wheel install was done and brakes continued to pop fuses and blow out lights. Company who installed fifth wheel stated no issues and must be mechanical. David took a look and determined other company hot wired the fifth wheel break and this led to major issues in my fuse box and could have been much worse. The Tribble team took their time rewired the entire truck and placed me safely back on the road. No push back no high cost for labor rate, just good honest folks doing the best for the community. Had an issue two weeks later different scenario and David and his team got me right in, quoted and fairly priced repairs, got me in and out safely and back on the road. Not only are they upfront and honest, but I have never felt so safe leaving from car repairs. I know they hold their customers as important as their closet family, no fear in car repairs any longer, if you are in Woodstock or 50 to 100 miles from Woodstock, TRUST TRIBBLE, make the drive, fair honest value and the peace of mind you are safe and taken care of. Nothing better in my opinion, thanks David and the Tribble team, so lucky to be a customer and member of your extended family. K. Green Woodstock GA
