My family and I got stranded in Forsyth on our way to Florida for a family vacation. We took our vehicle to Watts, and they took time the next morning to look at my vehicle. The only reason I am giving them a 2-star rather than 1-star rating is the fact that they did look at it the morning we brought it in.However, they ended up charging us over $600 to replace an oil pressure sensor that other reputable garages/dealerships charge $300 to replace. Undoubtedly, they gouged us knowing that we were desperate. Because of our being stuck in the middle of nowhere GA, and the need to make our way to FL to salvage what was left of our trip, we had no other choice. I would highly recommend NOT taking your vehicles to Watts Service Center.

We were coming from Northern Ga when our muffler popped off. This was the closest place as our muffler was hanging by a bolt and sparking everywhere. My wife, girls, and I saw them and thought saved. I had all my retired Army gear on, my wife retired Marine and they wouldn't help us with anything, not even tow and they tow, they said the simply don't do exhaust or muffler and go to Macon. That was it. Lucky for us a Chevy dealership is 0.3 miles away and Brian didn't hesitate. They gave us numbers to call, looked under the vehicle, I mean they made us feel human again. I'm soooo disappointed. I hate that people would make anyone feel unwelcomed and non American. WE ARE THE REAL PATRIOTS WHO SERVE OUR COUNTRY AND ONLY RESPECT THE STARS AND STRIPES AND 50 STARS MY WIFE AND I FRIENDS DIED FOR!!!!! Thanks for your honesty though. I always appreciate that.

I cannot say enough good things about this business! I had a flat tire on Interstate 75 in Forsyth. Being a widow I was traveling alone. The owner of this company worked me right in to a long line of vehicles already in the shop& had me back on the road within 15 minutes. The charge was only $20.00, so I tried to tip another $20., but the owner just stated that she was glad she could help & would not take my tip. You do not find folks like this often! My contact with this company was a real blessing in a time of need!Service: Tires

We were traveling through stopped to see if they could help us with our rear end, she said NO and to get off her property!! We were trying to find someone to help us this all happened at 6:00am she wasn t open. We spent the night in our truck there waiting for them to open. We told her we couldn t move and we needed to find another spot. She then came out very rudely and told us to leave or she was going to call the cops. We then went to a different place and they were awesome!! I guess maybe she was just having a bad day

Professional, good, and quick. Broke down passing though from Al to NC. Highly recommended by several locals. They had my car up on the rack and ready for repair before the part arrived. Two hours after the part arrived we were rolling. Car ran as good as ever. We re more than thankful for the service we received. I blew a tire at 4am and AAA had let me sit on the side of the highway for 5 hours. I finally decide to book my own tow and LeeAnn was out looking for me within 15 minutes. My car had an odd tire size so she looked for one and then drove me all the way to Macon. An incredible family owned and operated business. They deserve a million starsServices: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

It's nice to know people and businesses like this still exist. Our car broke down on 75 coming through Forsyth. The best thing we ever did was call Donna with Watts Service Center to help! She was not only calming on the phone of a very scary and stressful situation but said they would help get us back on the road quickly. She went out of her way to keep us informed and even bring us and our dogs water in 90 degree heat. I would trust them completely with any repair! Truly honest and helpful people. Thank you, Donna, for the help and expertise in getting us back on the road and home.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

We were stranded in our car on the I75 from 2AM until 8AM...a terrifying experience, waiting in a broke down vehicle all night with semi-trucks flying past us at 100miles an hour at what seemed like 2in away from our vehicle. All of the towing companies we found online which claimed to offer 24/7 service were not answering phones, we called 911, 511 and could not get help to get off the highway. Finally I found Watts Service, and they answered on the first try. Leane was the lady that picked us up from the highway and drove us to a Uhaul partner in Macon where we had a reservation to rent a truck with tow hitch for our car, only to find out they had nothing waiting for us. Leane was very helpful and made some calls and secured a truck for us with tow hitch over at the Budget rental dealer, and she drove us there (a few miles more) at no extra charge. We are so grateful for her assistance in getting us off the highway to safety, for her resourcefulness and compassion. THANK YOU Leane!

I was passing through Forsyth on my way home to Nashville when my gear shifter would not engage after fueling up. I thought my transmission dropped and that I would be stranded 450 miles from home. This was at 9:00am. I called Watts and after replacing a bushing on my shifter cable, Leane and Robbie had me back on I-75 North at 10:30am.This was by far the best automotive mechanic experience of my life. They could have charged me a fortune and instead were probably more than fair. I wish all automotive centers were like this one.Service: Transmission

A very special thank you to LuAnn Watts and Robbie for taking the time and effort to repair our car as we were in route to Florida from Michigan. As we started the second leg of our trip, our engine light went on and such a blessing that our hotel was next door to the service station. LuAnn really went out of her way, not only to find the part, but to retrieve it herself from Macon to speed up the process. And Robbie promptly installed the part to further help us get us on our way. Thank you to Cathy for making us feel comfortable as we waited for all to be fixed. We truly appreciate all that you did.Phil & Maryann MeilakService: Engine repair

Was referred to them for a tow. BROKEN DOWN ON 75 South less than .7 miles from them. I had 2 kids ages 4 and 16 months.Edit: removed my assertion regarding cash. However, the police were dispatched due to an incredibly helpful Champ worker (the second one that stopped, the first said they couldn't do anything and left). I have zero missed calls from this number, nor a voice-mail explaining the situation. I was able to get road side assistance from the auto dealer 2 hours later with a 16 month old and a 4 year old on the side of a major highway. Zero compassion. Instead we found an incredible individual, who went past their service range for less than you charged.

Had no work done. Lady was either on phone or carrying on personal conversation inside an office. Not even where you could see if a customer walked in or not. Me traveling just needing my rotors resurfaced you would think they would pay attention to when people walk in. I guess they make enough money not to worry about automotive repairs or tires as advertised. I didn t have time to keep waiting.

I've been fortunate enough to have never experienced car trouble, nor have I been stranded with a disabled car. Recently, my car completely quit running while driving on I-75, approximately 2-3 hours from home and 2 hours away from my final destination at dusk. Alone and without any knowledge about what my next step should be, I had a kind officer assist me until Donna "Leann" Watts could arrive with the tow truck. Upon arrival, Leann was kind & professional. She showed sympathy to me in my inexperience with this type of situation. In what was a truly miserable & unknown situation, Leann Watts made me feel safe and comfortable. I cannot thank her enough for the kindness and generosity she so graciously showed to me. I would recommend Watts Towing services to any local and/or anyone passing through the Forsyth, GA/Monroe County area. Superb people and superb service! Thank you!

NEVER BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!I dropped off my car, 7/28/2015, at 3:00 PM at Watts service center to get an oil change. They said they could not do it the same day because of availability but i got a call two hours later at 5:18 PM saying it was done. I went to pick up my car and my wife went to pay the bill because I was on the phone, and when she came back she told me the bill was now $138.43. This moment, I hung up the phone and went inside to talk to the owner. She never mentioned labor when we talked as I dropped the car off and never called to tell me my bill was going to be changing so significantly. She said she had worked on the car for over a hour and there would now be an extra charge of $85.00 for service. This is the running rate for 1 hour of labor. When i went out to talk to my wife about what the extra charge was the owners employee ran out jumped in my car that was earlier serviced and drove it off the lot as i was asking him to get out and was standing in front of the car. At this point i called the cops because i felt i was getting taken and my car was now out of my sight. The cop was helpful but because this was a civil event he did not have any jurisdiction and could only mediate. The owner was unwilling to move to a agreement and was holding my car hostage during the whole event until she got her unjust payment. She was unwilling to present the damaged part she claimed to be the reason for the extra charge even after i asked for it several times. After talking with the cop i chose to pay the bill and pursue a small claims court appeal. As I went to pay she said she would only accept cash or debit but changed her story as soon as the cop walked in as I was pressing the issue. I went to pay with my discover card which i used their on 01/08/2015 for $336.53 when the owner told me she did not accept discover. I sent my wife home to get our Mastercard and we paid the bill. I later looked on their website and as of 07/28/2015 it still shows they accept discover card. This can be verified by wattsservicecenterandtow Discover card has a better appeal process so it seems she knew this and lied to make it even more difficult for me to pursue justice. If you get your oil changed here, what seems like a simple task will end up costing you more than you bargained for.

$275 for a 7 mile tow!!! What a ridiculous amount for someone who just wrecked their only vehicle and then they treat you like you re stupid for disagreeing with the price. When we were there we also witnessed some employees putting oil down the storm drain! So unprofessional and I will make sure to tell EVERYONE I know to never use Watts towing. Monroe County Sheriffs department need to change the company they call!

So caring. I am blessed to have had her tow my fathers car after his wreck. She picked up every single piece of his car from the wreck site. She met me at 7.30am to see the vehicle. Far beyond expectation. First class.

This and all other negative reviews on this place are TRUE! Very poorly managed. Restrooms "out of service" for maintenance. THey have two waiting rooms. One contains a lazy boy for the lazy clerk and irritable dog the other is outside sitting on the curb. They CHEATED me out of $125 for a diagnostics by telling me the part is "hard" to find and take 2-3 days to do the repair. All of this was to encourage me to go to another shop and they make a quick $125 and not do the actual repair.

Attempted to contact in person to have some repairs accomplished and no one seemed interested. I left my number and no return call. Attempted to call two days after the first attempt left information for a return call never had the curtesy of a return call. Customer service is horrible.

My family and I have been going to Watts for our car repair needs for almost 20 years now. In my ten years they have helped me fix issues on a '91 Buick, '01 Impala, '07 Jetta, '65 Mustang, '10 Mazdaspeed 3, '02 Accord, and a 2016 Civic. They have done everything from transmission work, to wheel hub replacement, and A/C repair. They even keep the drinks stocked with Coca Cola and Pepsi products so everyone wins.Bottom line; I wouldn't use any other auto repair shop in middle Georgia. I've traveled from Warner Robins, Macon, and even Atlanta to get help on my cars. Their prices are fair, their work is honest, and even though they're a Chevy family they don't give mine too much trouble about our Fords and Hondas.

Stay Away. They will charge you for broken parts then refuse to show you the said parts in question. All while saying "you have to pay the balance due before we let you see the vehicle". This is the most dodgy and unprofessional towing/maintenance business in at least a 50 mile radius. Id much rather pay a guy on craigslist then let these people ever touch my car again. It got to the point where i just paid the unreasonable amount of cash they were charging me so i could get the heck away from there.

The employees are rude. I have NOT had a pleasant phone call with them. They overcharge and WILL NOT notify you about hidden fees until its time to pay. and if your not okay with the extra charges, they will hold your vehicle hostage.

Van broke down. Brought it in and they charged 85 just to tell me the transmission is broken(I already know). I asked the owner what the official diagnosis was and she said she didn't have one and proceeded to ask me "What? You thought we were gonna give you a diagnosis?"

I called to get a quote for an oil change. The lady who answered said they don't give quotes over the phone. I barely finished saying thank you before she hung up.

I called to see if they had any openings available and an older lady answered the phone with an attitude. On google it says they're open but I didn't know they don't take appointments on the weekends. There was no need to be rude...
