I recently moved here a year ago and looked for a reliable mechanic. Based on reviews, I chose SB Auto and I couldn't be happier. Steve is a great guy and very knowledgeable. I know nothing about cars and he explains everything so that you understand what's going on and why he's doing it. His prices are fair and he never tries to upsell anything. I highly recommend going to Steve for all your car needs!

To find a knowledgeable and honest mechanic is worth their weight in gold. Steve has worked on my son's car a few times for various things and once we were sure it needed a very costly repair, very labor intensive. Turns out it was an easy fix costing very little. Very honest mechanic. Great prices. I will recommend all my friends and family to him.Update... Once again, I found myself trying to get Steve to do a very costly repair on my car. Steve fixed it in about 5 minutes. He is pretty consistently stopping me from wasting my money on unnecessary repairs. I wish I could double up on the 5 stars! :)

Knowledgeable and honest mechanics...who knew!! Steve and his crew are just that and more! I never worry that he won't do the best job at a fair price. Told my sister about him, and now she's a loyal customer too! You won't go wrong with these guys!

The. Best. Steven fixed whatever issue my 2002 Durango had to pass emissions, did an oil change, and talked to me at length about some other things I want to have done to keep my old boy on the road. Excellent communication, thorough job and very reasonable prices. Steve the owner was awesome to work with. He took the time to tell me about the part that needed to be replaced and even took it apart after removing it from my car to explain how it all worked, which I greatly appreciated. I will certainly be back for future car service needs, and strongly recommend SB Automotive to my friends and family!! Jay

I HIGHLY recommend SB Automotive. Steve is such a kind, welcoming, honest, and very knowledgeable person. I was referred to SB Automotive by quite a few people after asking for recommendations for my area on Facebook. I called to inquire about service and he told me to come in that day, and was very lucky he was able to check my vehicle immediately. Problem diagnosed very quickly, and resolved. Great atmosphere, comfortable waiting area, excellent service, and easy location to find. Awesome experience all around!!! Any future repairs will be done here. Steve took on a small job for me that I don't think anyone else would be interested in. I had three 2 cycle yard machines that I just couldn't keep running. In a very short time and for little money he had them running like new. Her is very professional & honest. When I need work done on my cars I will definitely be taking them to SB Automotive.

Steve worked on my Toyota Sienna handicap accessible van. He replaced all the belts, the water pump and put new brakes on the front and back. He did a stellar job! Even when he found out that he literally had to break the whole front end down including taking the windshields off to get to my belts and pump, Steve kept a great attitude. I truly have found myself a new mechanic and I tell everybody I come in contact with about SB Automotive in Fayetteville! Try it yourself you won t be disappointed!

Steve has made some pretty nice upgrades to his reception area and his shop. Only enhances the top notch work he does.My Saturn Vue is 16 years old with low mileage but things happen. Driving to Fayetteville from Tennessee it started making horrible noises. Took it in the next day to SB Automotive and the bad news followed... replace the engine!! Ugh! He did it all in a timely manner, even with Christmas and New Year looming. Did more repairs as needed but called me at every turn and gave me a more than fair price on it all.Yes, there are good mechanics around and I ve even used some of them but Steve is honest and trustworthy and fair.He won t take you for any unnecessary rides!!Mary Ellen HatfieldFayetteville,GA/Columbia, TN

Found problem no one else could diagnose. Made special trip to get needed parts. Fixed electric window, steering leak, tires, oil change, oil leak etc. Everything explained and prices estimated before job started. We've found our new mechanic. Owner cares about his customers. Shout out to Grateful Tread for our two new tires. Grateful Tread in same location. Credit card accepted.

Not your cookie cutter auto mechanics just looking to put in 8 hours and get a paycheck. They obviously love their job and have a great aptitude for problem solving while going for the best yet least expensive solutions. These guys fixed a complicated issue on my dad's car and have earned my trust.

I am amazed at how quickly my car was fixed. I had it towed here after it had been sitting at another local shop for over a week. The tow truck was late picking it up and then took it to the wrong place so my car didn't make it here till around 5pm. It was fixed before 12 the next day!
