I thought this collision center was one of the best in town but I was wrong. I found some issues in repair (uneven sides) trunk and fender wasn t aligned , but instead of post service solutions, service manager was a little bit rude oh I forgot, fog lights was not working after service. Definitely I wouldn t recommend to anybody. First experience here and the last one.*************After 2 months of service, every time I see my car I am more convinced that was a big mistake have brought my car at Gerber Collision in Duluth. GA. Gerber was my worst decision. I never receive a call for a solution, I definitely don t recommend this place to anybody!

This location in Duluth Ga 49 miles from my home is working on my truck. So far the conversation is good. Insurance claim from a client of USAA . Additional pricing was higher that 3 other quotes for some additional work to be done. Just fix what you're supposed to and walk away. I know prices have changed but this is within less than a year of quotes.

I have had the most frustrating and unimpressive communication with this location. I dropped my car off after being hit and they estimated it would be ready for completion in two weeks (it was a rear ending collision.) I dropped my car off on 10/17, and continued to receive automated texts that everything was underway and on schedule. The day before pickup, after four texts that everything was on track, I got a message saying it was pushed back to 11/3. On 11/1, I got another message that it was pushed to 11/8.I called the shop to inquire and they informed me that the texts I was receiving were being sent automatically off of estimations for when parts may ship, which may or may not be accurate. I asked them to look further into where my needed parts were and they said they had not shipped, but would check with the dealership to confirm a date and that they would call me back.They called back to say the parts would ship by 11/7 at the latest. on 11/6 I checked to confirm and did not get a response. Same thing on 11/7. So on 11/8, since I had not received any other communication and the estimation said it was ready for pickup, I shifted my work schedule to get my car. I called before leaving to confirm and was met with "you are definitely not getting it today and probably not this week. Maybe next Tuesday."I went in person to speak with the GM who told me Kia, my car, parts had been on severe back order. I understand this is out of their control; however, I fail to understand how I could have received an initial estimate of 10/31 if they had they had the knowledge of these severe backorders, as the GM admitted.I informed them that it was this initial estimate that made me drop off my car and begin using a rental car, for which I had 20 days of coverage. Had I known there was a back order, I would have waited to drop my car off. But now, my 20 days are up.While meeting with the GM on 11/8, a Wednesday, he told me they needed one more part which they anticipated getting on 11/14 at the latest, a Tuesday. I asked him to call me directly on Friday and Monday to give me an update, as I was now in a work predicament. He ensured me I would receive a call. I never did. It is now 11/14, and I just received another text saying my estimation has moved to 11/23.There has been no call to explain this, and I don't anticipate there will be unless I initiate it. There has been no attempts to rectify the situation, no effort in increasing communication to keep me in the loop, no offers to help work out a rental, no offers for some compensation for the trouble that this obviously incorrect estimate caused me.I would sooner recommend someone bring there car to me to be fixed - while I have no automobile knowledge, experience, or tools, I am confident I could figure it out more effectively, efficiently, and with greater communication, than this team.I would like to note that the front desk worker is lovely. This one star is for her and her alone.

My repair was handled in 2022 between July until November, with delays due to parts supply issue. But when the repair was completed, one part was missed to be installed. I've been following up since then but never had this resolved. The previous management failed to address the issue, and so is the new management. I've called numerous times for a follow up and met the GM, Donnie, thrice, but there is a clear lack of ownership to address the issue. I was once asked to visit the repair center for the missing part to be installed, but they got the wrong part! Now the calls are unanswered.Even the workmanship is poor (previous management when they completed the repairs) - the bumper wasn't fixed well so the clamps keep unlocking and popping out.

I wish I had never gone to this repair shop; it was the worst experience I have ever had. Let me break down my experience:Customer Communication: This was the worst part of it. They provided me with estimates for aftermarket and used parts, but despite my repeated requests to use OEM parts, they refused, falsely claiming that my insurance did not cover them. I insisted on them checking my insurance again, but they ignored my requests. Richard, one of the staff members, spoke to me very rudely, and when I called the shop in charge, Donnie, to resolve the issue, he put me on hold for an hour and never replied. After much pain and suffering, they finally agreed to use OEM parts.Morgan, the receptionist, promised to call me every two weeks, but she never did. Furthermore, she was not knowledgeable about the repair status when I called her. On the day I was supposed to pick up my car, she initially told me it wasn't ready. Only after insisting that she check again did she realize it was ready. It seems there is no proper communication channel among the staff in the shop.Repair Quality: The quality of the repair is also subpar; I noticed a new scratch on the repaired area.All in all, if you're willing to endure this pain and suffering, you are most welcome to go there. However, I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this shop to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE!!My insurance company recommended this place as their preferred location .What an absolute nightmare the experience became after that Spare yourself the headache. Go to another location if you must use Gerber.I ll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Unacceptable.

My insurance sent me here; repairs were done in the time frame they said it would. Always take note of your car after repair I did find scratches on it and they took it in to fix it. However I noticed my front bumper is not in place right and causing parts to grind on each other where this is all brand new parts.

A very bad experience with this place I took my truck Octubre 10th after a wreck the wasn t to bad just the back bumper and tailgate and little bit of front bumper initially they said it will be ready for October 27th everything was on time nobody never call me or let me know abt any delays then the 27th I call and ask abt my truck and they said it wasn t ready it was a disappointment because I have plans to travel to Iowa to visit my daughter and grandkids the I always go around this time they said it will be ready for next Monday then I call Monday and wasn t ready neither they supposed to call me back and tell me a more accurate date but then nobody call me I just received a text with a update showing the new date for pick up November 10th I wasn t to happy but I just waited then October 10 came and nobody call me I have to call them and guess what??? Yes my truck wasn t ready yet Ithey couldn t tell me the reason or give me a new date so I drove to the place and asked to talk to the manager after a few minutes he came and I ask him what s going on with my truck and he started telling me a bunch is excuses saying they have the wrong tailgate and they have to send it to a different place for yhe spray liner and he telling me the was a $17,000 claim the takes time to fix it and the wasn t he s fault the I was on a wreck???? Something stupid he shouldn t have to said that he said sometimes take up to 3 months and I replied 3 months for 2 bumpers and a tailgate??that sounds ridiculous and I told him I should take the truck to the Ford dealer and he said yes you should so disrespectful for me but anyways he said next Monday HE will call me and let me know for sure how long more for the truck to be ready he never called me and here is Friday November 17th and still waiting for my truck!!!! I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! Gerber collision in Duluth Georgia!!!!

Everyone was really nice when I went there to get my estimate, but it took me multiple phonecalls and followups to get my estimate emailed to me. When I called today the lady on the phone almost had an attitude about me having the audacity to ask again. She really asked me why I need it so badly. I would like to get my repairs done..... but not there. My trust is lost.

Mev and the Gm Donnie at the Duluth area for Gerber Collision & Glass provided me with the best and the most pristine repair to my Nissan Sentra I can t thank them enough to the communication and knowledge that they have provided these past two months I m excited to have my car back thank you so much and highly recommended

Our car's replacement bumper protector was due to be installed two months ago, we called several times, and the GM gave us different excuse each time. We finally decided to come in to see what was going on. To our surprise we were greeted by Donnie, the new GM. He apologized after hearing our story and promised to take care of it and he meant it indeed - immediately calling a nearby car dealer to order the part; drove to pick up the part and took our car in to install it - all by himself and done in less than 40 minutes! We don't care what happened to the previous GM, we just feel lucky that the new GM Donnie is running the place now! Thank you, Donnie. You deserve this 5-star rating!Service: Body & Trim

Gerber Collision and Glass did a great job repairing the front end damage to my Mazda. I am super impressed by their culture of active and passive communication to keep you well informed by telephone call and text messages with transparent pricing - No Surprises!Ultimately, everyone I have worked with at Gerber Duluth has been super friendly and genuinely interested in me being a satisfied customer.The work is beautiful, they dealt with Allstate on my behalf and completed the work 11 days earlier than expected.I tried a dealer shop around the corner first. After 3 1/2 months of rolling appointments to drop the car off I asked Allstate to find me someone else. My girlfriend had her truck repaired here twice after two separate accidents. Great service, pristine repair quality, and they always have repairs done before or at the estimated deadline. Highly recommend.

My first and last time here. when I took my car there all wheels had it s own wheel cap from manufacturer . When I went to pick up my car they returned it without the wheel cap. When I called they took forever to order the piece and they ordered the wrong piece not even caring that it wasn t the right piece I called back and they said they said they couldn t do anything else. You take your car to get it fixed and then you get it back with a different problem and they don t take responsibility

If I could rate them zeros stars I would. My insurance referred me to them for repairs. The manager Dan I believe his name is money hungry and made it clear his only concern was getting paid. They with held information about my car, then held my car for 10 days without even working on it. This place is scam. Originally I was told it would take 8 days for the repair then when I went to drop my car off I was told 3 weeks. I didn t have car rental coverage so I paid out of pocket. Brought my car in for repair due to damage by another vehicle. They were quick, pleasant, and professional. They warned me that the paint may not match perfectly, but it did. I made an appointment to get my car repaired two weeks ago, but when I showed up this morning I was told that they weren t accepting any collision repairs due to a Covid outbreak at their facility. While I understand they are short staff and are currently unable to take customers, it would have been nice to receive a phone call or some form of communication about the situation prior to my arrival instead of getting the news the day of. I took time off of work to bring my car in for the repairs and will now have to do it again next week in order to get my car fixed.

Im still in the process of having them fix the trunk of my car. Whenever I take the car to the car wash, after washing, the water, pours in the trunk because the rubber seals are not fixed, sealed properly so that water can't get in. Its my third time going to their shop to have it fixed. Manager stated that I take it back until they get it right. Not sure what else to say about this. Help me plz.

My car was in a accident. I was hit from behind by another driver. This is where I chose from their Insurance company to get my car repaired just because it was close to where I live. Turned out to be a Great choice. They were very nice and attentive. They helped with rental car, kept me updated on the progress on my vehicle. My repairs were Wonderful, paint was Nice and Shiny better than when I purchased. Would recommend their services

Upon initial phone call, I spoke with a lady who was very nice and professional. I cannot remember her name. However, she was very detailed and helpful. I wanted to get estimates from other places before I made my final decision. I went to one other place and decided to bring my car here versus the dealership for a few reasons. Cost didn't matter since I wasn't paying for it. The service and their continuous effort to answer my questions when I called back several times before I made my decision. The other place I received a quote from picked up on some things that Gerber missed. I told the nice lady who I dealt with on several occasions. She asked me to email my quote and they would do whatever needed to be done to get the car fixed right. I chose this place because my insurance company recommended them and the work is warrantied for the lifetime of ownership. That alone sold me!!I called in advance to schedule my appointment to make sure they would be able to take my car since I had a rental only approved for a certain amount of days. I dropped my car off and just waited for an update. I was immediately sent a new quote showing what they uncovered (which was great). The timely turnaround was impressive. Two days later, I received a call that my car was done. When I went to pick it up, I noticed a few things. They took the car to the back and fixed it right then and there. No questions asked. The customer service from everyone that I encountered was phenomenal. I appreciate their great workmanship and will refer others!

They are absolutely amazing!!!! As soon as I walked in i was greeted and treated like a priority. They were completely accommodating and even offered to pay for my rental since I was paying for my car to get fixed out of pocket. I got updates every day on the progress and they made sure to keep me in the loop with everything! I absolutely love them and I would recommend them to everyone!

I had some minor repairs done on my car late October and was provided with amazing customer service and care. The whole process was super smooth. They communicate with you through every step of the way and send you a link with live updates on your car's work, estimated costs, and completion time. The car was flawless upon return, exterior detailed, and all completed in 24 hours as promised. Excellent service

Everyone was really nice and the giant dent in the car was repaired. When we got it back there was a small hole in the drivers seat and there wasn t nearly as much gas. The big problem was resolved though, and the worker, Juan did a great job.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I gotta say I'm extremely pleased with the results and the timing. These guys all know what they're doing and very trained. My car was ready in 3 days max and she looks brand new as if nothing ever happened. Plus I noticed they detailed my exterior on the car which was a huge bonus. I appreciate the service... First let me start by saying that my guard is up the same as many of you when it comes to Automotive issues. No need for that at Gerber Collision. Those of you who read my reviews know I am ok with a good business and work ethic. That to me however is a bare minimum. Deborah, Aaron & Brian seemed like brothers and sister the way they worked together. They treated me like their mother referred me. Respect and courtesy with a thorough business, acumen put me right as ease. I would drive an hour past other collision shops to do business with these guys. If we were not in a pandemic I would bring them doughnuts and chicken. Give them a try you will be glad you did.
