If there was an negative 10 this will be my rating. First off all I should've read the reviews before I let the toll driver take my car there. I messed the undercarriage of my car. The insurance company was sending my car to another place in atlanta to fix but the toll person told me about this place it was convenient to my place. I really think they are paying the toll driver to get business for them. With the extensive damages the insurance co wanted to total it out but they Sudden Impact say it was fixable. It took over 3 mos to fix which was during Covid. Only reason why I wanted to keep car is because I just paid it off. I had to purchase another car to get to work. We had taken the car several timestor them to fix it was reduce speed/engine light kept coming on and other issues with car. They told us there was nothing for them to do after the insurance company paid them. 3 years later the car is inoperable. We have paid thousands of dollars to repair. Now it's junk. Please be aware of this place. All the cars at this shop should've been a clear indicator to run. Just don't want nobody else to loose their money coming here. If a toll driver tell you about this place and they can save you your deductibl please don't fall for it. AGAIN RUN! Pissed former customer and wouldn't recommend.

They definitely played with the wrong one this time . All of these reviews of them stealing people s money and putting old out dated parts on your car is very true . I guess everyone else said forget it and just let them get over because the business is obviously still open. I m getting with my lawyer and they re either getting closed or sued, Definitely. I also will be messaging a couple of you guys who also had bad reviews to write a statement and get it notarized so I can have it in court or you can personally show up also. Please Beware of the company . I would say do not go but you people will still do it. You guys see all these bad reviews and still consist to take the cheap route . You ll end up spending more money in long run

Huge mistake using them to repair my vehicle. After they had my vehicle for 3 months, Instead of doing the approved repairs by the insurance company, they downgraded my 2021 model car and pocketed the extra money. To the tune of 20 thousand dollars. Additionally they put almost 100 miles on it while it was in their possession and they drained my gas tank before returning the car to me. The workmanship they did do is terrible quality. They stole my car battery and replaced it with one that I ve had to recharge every day just so the car will start. What they did to my 50 thousand dollar car was shady and underhanded.

Dropped car off for diagnostic...... they dented my car and stole my wheels and other parts off my car. Never calls back and owner is drunk most of the time

The owner wasted 2 of my days buying a truck from him. He was selling a junk truck and I drove 40 miles 2 different days to buy it and he expects me to haul it off full of garbage. I told him the first time that I was buying the truck, not the garbage and he had me come back saying it was ready. It's still full of garbage.

This shop really needs to be closed down they take your money and they don't fix anything I just hook the computer up to your car and reset your check engine light they don't fix the problem and then your car sits outside and get weather for however long it takes them to get to your car for me personally my car sit there for seven months labor and parts where pay for But nothing was done my car was supposed to have been mechanically ran through by their mechanic but they did not fix the problem And then the owner Joe will tell you once you pay for your stuff there's nothing he can do about it so I'm hoping People Cedars and choose another shop just a big inconvenienceServices: Transmission, Carburetor cleaning, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Welding, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

These are rip off artists. I paid them to compete a wiring job and they didn t do it! Then they tried to charge me additional to do the job right. The son of the owner is especially void of mechanical and communication skills. Do not take your car to this shop!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! Joe stole our vehicle, took off my low profile rims and tires and sold them without our permission. Took car in there to get struts, joe said there was another issue so he started to address the heat and the additional items. Kept getting the run around. Then Joe claimed his son Matt, mistakenly gave our rims and tires to his cousin who no longer has them! WTH Now we finally catch them open, and I call the police. Joe openly tells us and police he crushed the car and sold our rims and tires. But doesn't have anything for us...sue him. Im just glad i recorded it all...the police couldnt even believe the words coming from his mouth...crooks, save yourself headache, go elsewhere.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Air conditioning

I was in a bad accident earlier this year and was told by the owner joe that I needed a new transmission, my insurance approved and PAID for a new transmission, well today my transmission failed . Wonder how that happened?! The owner LIED to my insurance company and pocketed $3600 . I called today to ask him about the transmission he put in earlier this year and he said he never put a transmission is and they don t do transmission . The paperwork says different and the check they sent to this company for the transmission says different so now it s Christmas even and my car is sitting in the parking lot of a chicken place because of my transmission when JOE was paid to put in a new one and never did ! Dropped my car off 3 weeks ago, was told my car would be ready that following Friday, I received no call, reached out and was told they would give me a call when it was ready. Kept prolonging because it was a hard hit , which is understandable, but communication was very poor. Finally received a call saying that the car was ready, but the transmission is gone out. Prior to dropping the car off, from my understanding the transmission was not out and no questions about the accident had been asked. Before 1300 dollars worth of work was done , they should have checked to see if this would be a issue clearly. I highly do not recommend, search for someone that actually cares about helping you and not taking your money.

This they say they will call you and never do they calli shoulf have realize something when their sign said not responsible for missing or stolrn items this cover them plus employees place is a rip off they stole stuff out my husband truck and stole my real ometerout my car plus they high as hell,I keep reading the reviews this is who had my car also joe

This shop went above and beyond to assist us with our car. They always returned my phone calls within a decent time. Everyone there was extremely helpful from the moment the tow truck dropped the car off. I reccomend them to my friends and family, that's for sure.

Joe sold me a bmw with a bad transmission. I took the car back to him two days later and told him I wanted my money back. He got upset and assaulted me. He and the Machanic and another guy at the shop tried teaming up on me and called me racial slurs (boy) and was threatening me. I am now pressing charges on everybody involved and will be suing as well. These are very Slimy people and can not be trusted with anybody s car. Now I am out $4600 until I can resolve the issue in court.

Very professional , I have used this repair shop for the last 3 or 4 years and they have been nothing but superior when it comes to meeting my needs. From suspension to brakes and the purchasing of vehicles. They are a complete one stop shop. The best thing about them is they treat you respect and do great work.

I have been using Sudden Impact for years and a little Surprised at the negative reviews I have seen. I have never had one bad experience with Joe or his staff. He has worked in my GMC Acadia, BMW and even an older Isuzu Trooper with great results. I would highly recommend them! They have saved me thousands by even letting me get my own used parts and letting them do the install and paint. Go see Joe Hill today!!

Bought a car from them and was told that there was nothing wrong. On the way home, going out that the transmission was going out. It only acted up when it was warm. They gave us a deal on tires (that we paid for before we found out how crooked this place was) and was told to get there at about 11 to get them on. It's 5 now and we are still waiting on then to finish the tires. I will never come back nor recommend anyone ever go here. Trust me, go somewhere else!!!

They are very disorganized and not friendly. I was waiting (and waiting) to talk to the manager/boss and I could smell stale booze on the 'mechanic'. Not that he was drinking right then but had tied one on the night before and did not shower before work.I had a fuel pump replaced and it took three attempts before they got it right. The mechanic I used for 15 years died or else I wouldn't have come here. Never will again.I almost forgot that when I was asking why it would be 2 more days to fix it after they got the part, I was told the owner had him working on a car the owner bought and wanted to sell. I complained that this was the 2nd time I had brought my car in and didn't think the owner should come first. He shrugged and said 'sorry' and that was it.

The on site mechanic is just all around awesome, knowledgeable and very helpful. If you need something, I'm pretty sure they'll have it... if not, he knows where to get it or how to find it. THANK YOU JIMMY!

Will take forever to finish working on your car. Customer service is horrible. The girl that works at the desk doesn't take her job serious and gives out wrong info about what they can do and how soon it will be done.

These son of bitchs are crooks..I brought my car there for a dianogstic test it took them a week to look a it then to turn around and say there is nothing we can do.when just 4 day prior I took it for a emission test.)so on week off calling this place I got no answer to see about gettin my car.when I finally got a hold of him ,tha guy Joe tells me that the key broke and he heard a pop and now my car won't start.then turns around to try to charge a storage fee!these crooks are unprofessional.would never advise anyone to go there at all.joe I'll b seeing you in court real soon!
