I recently had an unfortunate experience at Safe Tires, and I must say it left me quite dissatisfied. It quickly became apparent that this place operates as a cash cow, targeting customers with deep pockets. If you decide to visit, be prepared to part ways with a significant amount of money.Upon arriving at Safe Tires, I was immediately taken aback by the exorbitant prices. I had a nearly flat tire with just a single nail, yet they had the audacity to charge me a whopping $85. I questioned the reasoning behind such a high price, to which the owner nonchalantly responded, "Next time, be aware of nails." This response was far from satisfactory and only served to exacerbate my disappointment.To make matters worse, the service itself was sluggish and inefficient. It took an agonizingly long hour to fix the simple issue with my tire. I found this unacceptable, especially considering the hefty price tag attached to their services. A prompt and efficient resolution should be a fundamental expectation when paying such a substantial amount.It is worth noting that the lack of transparency regarding pricing further adds to the frustration. Customers should be informed of the costs associated with any service before any work is carried out. Unfortunately, this was not the case at Safe Tires, leaving me feeling taken advantage of and dissatisfied.Overall, my experience at Safe Tires was far from pleasant. The exorbitant prices, coupled with a lackluster and time-consuming service, left me with a bitter taste. I would caution others against visiting this establishment unless they are prepared to shell out a significant amount of money for subpar service. There are undoubtedly better options available that offer fair prices, transparency, and efficient service.

I Bought two used tires for $85 a piece. I also requested a wheel alignment but they were unable to do it, and stated that my steering column was upside down in which it wasn t. After 12 days the wires were coming out of them. According to their policy I have a 30 day warranty. They refused to honor it and the owner (Max) was very aggressive and very rude in tone and kept yelling and talking over me. I would never do business with them again.Please keep in mind you can get new tires at Walmart with a warranty For the price of their used tires. Lesson learned!

Drove by here the other day and it is shut down. I did business with them for years! At first it was great! Then this past year they have just been money hungry! Everytime I go they tell me I need new parts that I don t need. Spent $800 on a tune up, oil change, brakes and an alignment and they STILL tried to rob me saying I needed new tire rods and 4 new rotors. But when I took it to their sister store down the road I asked how my rotors and rods looked and he said great! They also made my steering column WORSE after the alignment. Terrible

Be careful with this company, they stole my money. I bought a tire from them, three hours later it was completely flat. I went to complain to them and they literally told me that it was not their problem.

Took my vehicle to the Decatur location, had a flat tire. Shop said it had a replacement tire for sale. After 45 minutes to take the flat tire off, the staff spent another 45 minutes attempting to install the new tire. The manager told me that they were unable to install the tire and asked if I had my spare to install. The employee bought my wheel, that had now been damaged by pry bars and use of the tire mounting equipment, scraping the paint and finish. Upon looking at the damage that occurred while trying to remove/install the tire, the manager tried to imply that the damage was already there prior to their work removing the tire. I was told the owner was unavailable and that I needed to leave my damaged wheel for them to repair. I have a set of custom three piece wheels requiring a process of removing the inner barrel, the face of the wheel, and the painted lip. The lip needs to be stripped, repaired, resurfaced, and resealed together and then a new tire to be mounted. Initially the manager assured me the repairs would be covered, after learning the degree of damage, the owner refuses to pay for the repairs. Offering to fix the damage in house. If the business is incapable of removing and reinstalling a tire on a 20 inch wheel, why would I trust them to repair the damage? Avoid at all costs. Poor customer service and zero accountability for damage they are clearly responsible for causing.

I used to really like and recommend this place, and enjoyed supporting a family owned small business. Always had good customer service. I like Kathy at the front desk. However, they told me I needed my brake pads replaced last fall. So I bought new brake pads and had these guys install them. When I went in for a patch about a month ago, they said I needed all new brake pads .. again. I was like, are you sure????? They said yes. This seemed fishy to me. Brake pads are supposed to last years. I was worried that maybe they were telling the truth and that there was something wrong with my brakes. Took my car to someone else for a second opinion and they said ma am, your brake pads are brand new . Guess they just needed to drum up business. Too bad. I trusted them. Not anymore. I wonder if I ever even needed the first set replaced.

This place is incredible. The prices are extremely reasonable and they have the best mechanics that do the best work. They are very knowledgeable and they care for their customers and their needs. The owner is the most kind and down to earth mechanic that I've ever made. Nothing of five gold stars from me.

Terrible terrible terrible I strongly advise people not to deal with this company. Anything other then a TEMPORARY USED tire don t deal. They don t change your parts, they ll steal your parts. I went and bout BRAND NEW parts from the parts store behind them and they never put them on nor leave them in my car They gave me a list of charges of labor for work they said they d done , also adding a Labor charge as well. I been there several times about this issues and they ll call the cops saying I m disrupting there business. When I m only trying to speak with the only person who speaks any English

Location: Lawrenceville Hwy, Decatur! Very poor service and customer service. Don't go again! This shop is scammer! If there were a negative rate, I would give Negative 5. My tire fixed at Maragatos.

I came in because I needed a new tire. They had to order one. I was told that it would be here at about 12:30. When it was 1:00, I thought it will be here. I was told that I had to wait another hour for it to get here. As I am commenting at 2:48pm, I am still waiting on 1 tire. The business here is ridiculous!!!! I asked the boss if he could give me a discount. Because of this I will be late for work an hour or more. After this tire gets put on, I will not be coming back . Now editing, at 2:58, I am now told that it would be here 5-10 minutes. Safe Tire is unsafe today. They have got do better with their business. They can meet the needs of others who came after me, but couldn't meet my simple request. Now editing one last time, at 3:03 the tire shows up, I better get a really great discount!!!

I came out of my workplace and noticed my front left tire was flat. Thankfully, I had my portable air compressor with me so I put air in it. To hopefully last until I got to Safe Tires. I showed the mechanic where the screw was lodged in my tire. They had me out in less then 15 minutes!! They saved me once before when they figured out problem no one else could solve. I am a big fan of this Shop!!

They tried to sell me 3 different tires with nails still in them. didn t even bother to patch them up before trying to trick people. I don t recommend.

Don't go here! Poor service! They sell terrible used tires! Beware! They sell tires with nails already in them. They give you a hard time exchanging the tires even though they give you a 30 day warranty. Just disgusting service. Please please please don't go here! Warning or you will be sorry. If you like a great tire place. Please go to the one on Jonesboro Rd. In Atlanta off Cleveland Ave. They are awesome! Near Humphries Drive.

Love this place. The two gentlemen running the show are attentive, friendly, helpful, and skilled. They gave me the information I needed to make the best decision for my tire purchase without heavy upselling. Go there! They're awesome and should be promoted to site managers for the responsibility they take on and the great job they do.

Great work, honest people. This is my 4th trip here and they have always done excellent work on my Nissan's. This visit was to fix a bad alignment from another shop, global Alliance. Safe tires had my car done professionally In 20 minutes

I would recommend this tire shop to anyone whose in the market to purchase tires new or used. The customer service we received from Keith and his staff was courteous, professional and efficient. The slightly used tires we purchased were in great shape and priced fairly. It also didn't take all day to be installed. Keith even called us after he realized we left our wheel lock. We will definitely shop with Safe Tires again...

I've had three experiences at this shop. All of them were WONDERFUL! I got a wheel alignment and two tires. GREAT tires! Very reasonable price. Also a great price on the wheel alignment. I've recommended this place to several people and will continue to do so,

Few years ago I went to Tucker location for alignment and had no complaint. But, today I had really a bad customer service experience. I met three young men and they all are very rude and unprofessional and was using curse words. The alignment was advertised for $30, but a gentleman demanded $50 from me. I refused to do alignment on my car and left. also, I told him that this misleading advertisement will be reported to appropriate state authority. He told me that he doesn't care and I can make no impact to his pricing. I will let consumer to think about this incident before you go to this business. Sorry to say that I can't recommend anyone to patronize this location.

Very Fast, Very good, very Affordable, good customer service. Ask for Christin, Felipe, Jorge. They got me Nice new tires for my truck, and told me everything that I needed to know about my truck under side. Definitely recommend and will use again.

Had to return back for my tires at least 3 different times. Once I ordered my tires, I had to wait for next day shipping. Next day turned into next week because no one was available in the office to place my tires on, although signs claimed to be a 24 hour tire shop.

Horrible shop ! Gave me a used tired the rim came off the tire the following day. Went to have them reassemble it and the manager claimed the tire was fine .. Had a second opinion at another shop they found a leak in the tire from where "safe tire Decatur" damaged putting my rim back on. Called safe tire back and the owner claimed I put a nail in tire an would not exchange the tire for a working one unless I bought a complete new one mind you I never got to drive on the one they sold me more than 12 miles . Do not do business with this shady company that claims they have safe tires!!!!!

I don't know what they did with my tires. After paying $90 my car is vibrating during driving. It is never happened before. When I called the lady and requested her to fix, she is asking for money again. Have very bad experience. I'll never go again and never refer anyone here. So sad

I left my car to be repaired. Me and my husband driving by the next day, he sees the window open. We pull over to see and they left the window down with the key in the ignition!!! The shop was locked and no one was around! DO NOT GO HERE!

NEVER ,NEVER ,NEVER GO HERE!!!! very sad >>> the People are Nice but the workers that did my car alignment didn't know how to do Imports the charged me for not being able to Adjust one side & said I need parts replace. well I went to another place that charges $80.00 not $30.00 & they showed me where the back tire are set & where the two front tire adjust at they also said the people that I went to don't know much about car. I say ONLY GO FOR A TIRE CHANGES ONLY!!!!!!!

very good place to Go, very professional I Went there looking for used tires and allignment on my 4 tires they are the cheapest Ive seen. Mostly they are very kind and proffesional, They listened to you while you talk , very fast services and well done. I highly recommend them ...

I waited a little over 2 hours to get 2 new tires on the front. They were having difficulty with mounting them. I paid 120 in cash and the rest on my card. After I left and on my way, the manager called my cell and said that she's having some big problems because one of the guy's there said that the hundred dollar bill I gave her was fake and her boss was giving her a hard time. I assured her that the money came from the bank.. I have never experienced such foolishness. First of all they do sell pens to check your currency during your transactions. I really don't know how to process this? This was my first time using this business and it will definitely be my last!!

I don't recommend this place. Bad customer service. One of bad places you could be.The person answering my phone call to them doesn't speak good English and besides, due to him being in a noisy shop environment our communication has been difficult. In addition to background noise, his voice was breaking up a lot. I was out in the open with excellent wireless phone signal strength. So, both issues should be on their side. He couldn't hear or understand my question about the tread depths of the used tires they have got. I repeated my question patiently several times but eventually, he said, with rather rough street attitude, I was not speaking good English and hung up the phone on me.

The guy here is a crook. Seriously, every time I have visited, he seems to charge a different price. A plug is always $10 and a patch is $15. The last time I was there, he told me a plug was $15. When I complained, he said "Yea, the price changed as of today". Two weeks before, he tried to charge me $50 for a used tire that normally costs $35. Just avoid the headache and avoid this place.

I have been to both locations within 3 days, for different reasons, and I must say the prices and service is wonderful.The entire staff goes above and beyond what I expected!Being a woman I am always leary of anything mechanical, but I did not feel that way.Thanks guys,Ms. Bonnie
