Miss Kimberly at the front desk gets a 6 out of 5, so helpful the entire process!!!I give the rest of the experience a 2 at best. Elmer was my contact. He called me once the first two weeks my vehicle was in repair. I called myself after not hearing back for over a week. Thanks to my Geico adjuster for assisting with this also as she was super helpful.Also, they don t do a walk through of your vehicle once it s done. You would think when you ve had someone s vehicle for over a month you would do a walk-through with them just to show them what exactly was completed and make certain all is set. I m my instance, I noticed once I arrived home that the rims they used to replace my back tires were not the same as the ones in the front, which were the originals of the vehicle. Had a walk-through been conducted this likely could ve been avoided. Another shout out to Miss Kimberly who brought the team out so they could see the difference. I d advise more customer contact and a walk-through moving forward.

Geico sent me here for repairs after being rear-ended. Auto Impact's bodywork was terrible, and their mechanical work was even worse. My exhaust was bent up after being rear-ended. Auto Impact insisted numerous times they were not making any repairs (see photos yourself). After some back-and-forth, they finally decided to do the repairs, but by that time, I no longer trusted their work.Also, they left sand dust throughout my car's inside to add icing to the cake. They didn't even bother to clean my car.**Update** a month later it was discovered by the dealer that the drive shaft was bent from the rear-ending. The auto shop advised that they don t do repairs and to call GEICO, my thing is.. if they don t do repairs, why send my car there in the first place. Ultimately, it was easier to trade the car in rather than clean up the shabby work.

They are Always very good and through with their repairs. I also like the fact that Enterprise is able to get your rental to you at the location. If you are in need of some repairs to your vehicle, I highly recommend this location.

Complete scam. They slapped on old parts they claimed were new, panels not lining up, paint bubbling up month after the repairs... messed up so badly that the insurance had to send me to another shop to re-do everything. And let's not mention they actually charged me extra for centering the headlight after I paid them out of pocket to install new one (as if centering it is not a part of installation). Not only that they didn't actually center the light but never reimbursed me for it either. That place should be shut down before more people fall victims to their shady practices.

They were listed on the list of Geico approved collision shops, so I selected the shop to repair my car after someone rear-ended my brand new car. The estimate was completed and sent to the insurance company, which was approved and they were immediately sent a check to order parts. The communication from the shop was less than desirable. No one ever called me to communicate a timeline or provide updates on the timeline. Each time I spoke to someone it was because I reached out and occasionally never received a return call when no one was available. My car was rear-ended in July 2023 and they played phone tag with me until November 2023 when I spoke with an employee and they told me they were unable to repair my car because the manufacturer wasn't responding to their requests for parts and they were returning the money to me/insurance company. I was told I would receive a call the next day to confirm and again no return call so I waited a few days and called them and they said oh the money was returned to the insurance company. Communication is of the utmost importance when it comes to customer service and they fell way below the mark.

I've been here 3 times now and I can honestly say that each experience has been amazing. They are efficient and professional with their work. The customer service is great. The first time I came, I was led here by Geico because they are an authorized participant in Geico Auto Repair Express. They have an Enterprise agent on site. This makes the transition of dropping your car off to picking up your rental car a smooth process. When I was told my car was ready for pick-up Elmer made my little 2005 Toyota Corolla look better than what it looked like before my accident. This is when I knew they had a loyal customer. In fact, he's helped me with my car each time I've had to, unfortunately, come here lol. Car work can be a pain, but they don't make the process stressful. Again, very efficient. Just had a wonderful experience with the entire staff at Auto Impact of Decatur. The collision repair to an older model F150 was done very timely and turned out great! Elmer and his team did excellent work and were just so accommodating! The detailing of the vehicle was impressive! Even got some extra paint so I can touch up some old scratches!! I scheduled a repair through my insurance claim and before i could even finish filling out the paperwork to give back to the secretary i could hear the secretary plus others in the back joking about my name. Once the lady seen the front of my car she tried to say that it was totaled. She tried judging by the mileage saying it wasn t fixable. When i pulled my car in for the mechanic as soon as he walked out the door he was trying to tell me my car was totaled. I tried explaining that the bunjees were there just to hold the hood down & not the bumper up. I brought the car because the latch to my hood broke & my hood wouldn t stay down which ended up cracking my windshield. I made it clear that what needed to be fixed was the latch for the hood & for the front bumper & my windshield. The front bumper is literally plastic making it easy to deteriorate. He then proceeded to get in my car WITH NO MASK while taking pictures of everything and telling my passenger that he did not want to fix my vehicle. This place was extremely unprofessional all the way back to the name jokes from the secretary with the BAPS do that i let slide because i wanted my car fixed. This place is a 1/10 honestly & the one is just me being nice.

The work looks perfect! The customer service was very friendly too. I m just not happy because it took a whole 6 days to get my car back. They took it a Wednesday morning at 8am and and I didn t get it back till Tuesday 5PM for a bumper replacement. The price was decent but did go above what was quoted due to there being more damage behind my bumper. I didn t get a call that my part had been delayed but they did call the next day when they got it. Overall I would recommend and would use them again in the future if I had too.Service: Body & Trim

I had 3 quotes for 2 bumpers all within a 1 mile radius and Impact have the best price. I took it ion a week ago and is was ready one week later. No extra, hidden fees and I was happy to pay.Elmer was my initial go to guy, very friendly and helpful. The entire staff was pleasant and had a great work moral. I like working with kind people and people that say they will get the job done.I would have been completely happy with a fresh was when I picked it up only to find that they had vacuumed the entire interior. This car is dedicate to my by 75 pound dog that sheds and drools like crazy. They got it all and there was a lot--I was going to do it when it was returned.This is the place to go. I brought my car in to get some front bumper work done in a short time frame. Team did a good job and returned car in a timely-manner. However, the car was returned in less than great condition. I had to return the next day, 30-minute drive, to have my car locks connected again. Locks did not work and it was very frustrating to drive back for work. Team wasn't very apologetic for costing me 1-hour of my day. The second issue I had was area between door panel and dashboard had a very sticky black goo. I will have to pay for residue to be scrubbed off.Service: Body & Trim

Do not believe anything they tell you! They will promise you anything to get you to bring your car to them and then lie through their teeth once they have it. First they said the repair would take about 2 weeks (roughly 6 weeks ago); then they said they could help out with a loan vehicle (never happened). Then they said I could still drive my car while they wait for parts (never happened) and every time you call they say they will know more (fill in the blank) later today, tomorrow, Wed, next week, etc. Find another auto body shop!Service: Body & Trim

I would like to thank Kimberly, Isaiah, Norman, Marcus, Desh, Charles and anyone else who was involved with me and the repair of my vehicle. You all are super professional and pleasant. You answered all my concerns. So when I picked up my vehicle I was soooo pleased. It looked like it did when I purchased it off the lot with 11 miles on it. After my accident I was so stressed but Auto Impact relieved me of all anxiety by continually calling with updates regarding the repairs on my vehicle. Thanks again!

I have used their services twice. The first time was at least 4 years ago. I was impressed with their service! They made sure my car was impeccable before I picked it up by replacing all the affected parts, realigning my wheels, and few other things on my car that looked completely worn. However, my second visit was awful! It took-place last month February. At this time, I picked my car up w\o all the repair work due to parts delay. I wasn t notified about the missing part until they called me to pick it up. Also, I wanted them to do some paint touch-up and made it clear I would pay extra if I have to that request was never honored and I picked my vehicle up w/o that repair as well as the missing part totally disgusted!

My car turned out decent, but they didn't fix one little dent they said they would. Also, the communication is absolutely horrible. They had my vehicle for 10 days and at the end I got completely conflicting information on where they were in the process, then was told I could be there at 8am when they open to pick it up because it would be done. I got there at 11am, and they were confused, asking if I was told it was done. It wasn't, but luckily it was done in about 10 minutes. Still had to wait around for paperwork. Just completely disorganized and frustrating.

Betterment scammers. This place was the highest of 3 quotes I received but they were the 1 in network for my insurance company. So, even though they got the highest payment from the insurance company, they still wanted more and added a betterment charge for me to pay out of pocket on top of my deductible on the day I picked the car up with no notice . On top of it all I have a voicemail and email telling me my car was ready and that the balance due was my deductible. Clearly on the bill the insurance company paid the full price for a brand new tire so why should I have to pay an additional amount because I didn t come in with a new tire? I love the staff here. I took my vehicle in on a Monday morning. The progressive insurance service rep consistently kept me updated with my vehicle status the entire process. By, Wednesday afternoon he called to inform me that my vehicle was repaired and ready for pickup. The pretty receptionist at the front desk was extremely professional and efficient with the check in and check out process. She acknowledged me as soon as I walked in on both occasions. I love a front line that acknowledges a client even when they are busy with another client or if they are on the phone. Excellent multi tasking with customer service to ensure each client is greeted with a beautiful smile and warm welcome. I had one minor issue with missing car change.... and I say minor because it was not much and I did not expect to get it back. However, I did report the issue. I originally forgot to grab my car change from the middle when I dropped the vehicle off for repair. Upon picking my vehicle up I noticed the change decreased from the amount I left. The manager Sandy was extremely courteous, professional, and apologetic for the issue. He quickly addressed the issue with the staff that was available and provided me a reimbursement of amount of change I was missing. Again, I did not expect anything back I just wanted to report the issue but I am definitely satisfied.

These guys are great. Honest and do amazing work. If your not happy they will do whatever it takes to make it right. I brought my old 2002 Jeep to have work done and now my new Jeep. Elmer was a joy to work with. He explained everything to my satisfaction. I hope I don't have to come back but if I do they are the only ones I trust with my cars.

Amazing work here. My car was repaired after an accident several months ago and I was extremely satisfied. I somehow scraped my front number and I stopped by to see if they could repair it. Elmer took a look at it and was able to make it look as good as new right away. I would highly recommend Auto Impact for your Auto body repair needs. Great customer service and amazing work done here!

I came to this shop for repair of my auto paint. I was assisted by Elmer Matos. He provided excellent customer services and the repairs were completed in an expeditious manner. I was very pleased with the quality of the work that was performed on the paint repair on my vehicle. I would highly recommend this shop for auto paint and collision repair. Thank you again Elmer!

Messed up my claim info with GEICO and it took forever to fix. Processed my claims for vehicle repair wrong and it prolonged my repairs for an additional 3 weeks. When I received my vehicle back, there were car parts on the back seat and trash in the trunk (boxes for parts). Car was dusty on the Inside (although they told me they cleaned it). Also, I has a bag of masks that was sealed on the passenger seat pocket. Half of the bag was emptied. Just overall not satisfied with my service.

I am normally very discriminating. When it comes to auto repair establishments. Auto impact was outstanding in their service. Their customer service was very good but not excellent, however, the work they performed on my car was nothing less than outstanding.! They even sent me text messages providing me with status updates. While my vehicle was being repaired. This repair was performed as a result of a back end collision. This service center does work for a specific insurance company in. This was not my insurance company, but the carrier of the person who hit me. After experiencing this company's work, auto impact will be my first choice if I am ever in need of collision repair.
