I have gone to this garage for many years. Jay is the last of a quality breed of mechanics who takes pride in his work. Too bad we can't clone him. If you want great service you have to schedule with him, but certainly worth it. I totally recommend this shop.

One of the most honest mechanics ever!Went there for the first time yesterday and became an immediate fan. Will surely be coming back for all our auto needs.J talks straight, shows you whats broken or needs to be fixed and doesn't try to hide anything.Plus, he has a nice sense of humor.Highly recommended and you can't go wrong at APNA Garage.

J is the best mechanic there ever was. He is always honest, never upsells, and will explain what services your car needs and why. I trust him so much that I even called him for car buying advice, and he took the time out of his busy schedule to answer my novice questions without making me feel dumb! Not only is he honest, he is hilarious, kind, and great with my kids. We won't go anywhere else, and neither should you! I've recommended him to everyone I know, whether they live in Georgia or not :)

The best mechanic experience I ve had- Jay is amazing! He went out of his way to explain the repairs + pricing in layman s terms, made us feel comfortable through the entire experience. Jay is the most honest mechanic I've ever met. On multiple occasions, he has suggested against getting service, saying that my car could probably last another oil change before needing it. Not only this, but he has fixed small issues free of charge. It feels great to have him nearby. Also, his prices are very reasonable. He has truly earned his 5 star rating.

A truly honest, trustworthy, and friendly mechanic! Jay is the best. He came highly recommended from several of my friends who take their cars to him. I finally wanted something looked at recently and Jay took a look, the problem I thought I was having ended up not being an issue, so he didn't charge me a thing for the time he spent looking at it and trying to reproduce the problem.

Jay is awesome awesome awesome! Worked quickly, communicated constantly and educated along the way. We had to bring the car right back the next day (which he predicted might happen), and he dove right back in and had it back to us a few hours later. Jay is a fantastic mechanic ESPECIALLY for any women who have had poor experiences in the past.He is fast, honest, so so fair on pricing, and just a wonderful person to chat with. He installed new locks for me on my 2012 Kia Soul and was a delight the whole time. I truly can t recommend him enough.

Jay at Apna Garage is a life saver. We met him on a Friday evening near closing time several years ago when our car broke down (aka started heating up and releasing smoke from the engine), just a few hours before we went on an international flight. Since then, Jay has kept our lovely 2001 Toyota Camry not only alive but thriving. He's diagnosed and fixed our car several times. Honest, hard working, funny, and kind. Everything is reasonably priced here. Don't get deterred by the lines--go here for your oil change and everything your car needs. Excellent service from Jay on my 2010 Honda, and some laughs, too! He got me in the day I called and had my brake pads and rotors replaced in two hours. Fair pricing and very kind and friendly. He even took the time to show me the issue and teach me how brake pads and rotors work! It was actually fun. He was very funny and nice to talk to, and I never felt as though I was being rushed out. Definitely experienced and knows what he's talking about. I would recommend APNA to anyone!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

J is super honest and reasonably priced! I had my battery switched out a few years ago and it started having some issues. J tested it, swapped it out with a new one, and got me back on the road in no time. Really appreciate him!

He is honest, punctual, talented, communicative and a delight to interact with.He will give you the most honest answers, even when they may not be the most profitable to him. Jay was amazing!!! He walked me through different issues of my car. He was very honest, friendly, and helpful. He went out of his way to call my car's dealership to compare their price with his. Jay's prices are very reasonable and he's not trying to take advantage of you. His work was excellent and he even stayed after work hours to keep his word and finish my car in one day even though it was a very involved issue that could've taken two days. Jay is definitely my go-to mechanic from here on out. I'm mad I just found out about his shop!! If you're in Decatur, I would certainly recommend him for all of your car needs.

Jay was kind, efficient and punctual. I liked that he used the oil and filter that I usually prefer, performed a quick overall check with top ups. Honest, no nonsense workmanship. Would very much recommend. I also prefer garages where I can see the work being done. He also made sure that the previous client's child remained safely away from any hazards while the client was busy loading her car. Thanks Jay, you'll be my regular!Service: Oil change

Just the best mechanic in Atlanta. Or I d go as far as to say that I doubt there s a better mechanic in the country. Jatin is honest, fantastic at his job, a super reliable resource, and incredibly helpful if you have a Japanese made car, don t even bother looking elsewhere

Jay is the best. My whole family works on cars, and I've grown up rebuilding classic cars with them, and I can say from experience Jay is the most honest and knowledgeable mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of taking my car to. I have a 2003 Honda with almost 200k miles on it, and he keeps it running like it's brand new. As long as I'm in Atlanta, I'll never trust anyone else. His prices are great, and he's so friendly and easy to talk to. He even looked up all the repair notes on a car I was looking at buying to see what the major issues for that make, model and year so I could make an informed buying choice.

I started going to APNA a few years ago for my 2008 Honda Odyssey based on several positive referrals; the owner is polite, reliable, fast, and economical. He does not oversell and provides honest recommendations. He has replaced several parts in my van and I have had no issues. Jay is absolutely fantastic and an honest and reliable mechanic. He once spent an hour explaining what was wrong with my vehicle, told me the car wasn't worth what it would cost to fix, and gave me tips on car searching in Atlanta, and didn't charge me anything for his time. I have since had an oil change and a parts replacement with him and the quality of his work is always excellent and fairly priced.
