PLEASE NOTE, MY ORIGINAL POST WAS 8 MONTHS AGO AND AFTER ABOUT THE FIRST WEEK, IT'S BEEN NOTHING BUT BULLSHIT! HERE I AM, NOW MID-WAY THROUGH APRIL, AND I STILL HAVE NO TITLE! I PAID CASH OUTRIGHT FOR WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A GREAT DEAL. ACTUALLY, IT WAS A GREAT DEAL, THIS REVIEW HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CAR BUT WITH BOBBY AND HIS LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE. HE HAS TOLD ME NUMEROUS STORIES AND OUTRIGHT LIES ABOUT THE TITLE (IT WAS DONE AND HANDLED, O SOMETHING GOT TIED UP AND NOW IT'S DONE- MOST RECENTLY THE TITLE WAS WET AND IS ILLEGIBLE, ONE WOULD HAVE TO ASSUME IF THAT WAS ACTUALLY THE CASE, HE OR SOMEONE AT THE TITLE OFFICE WOULD HAVE INFORMED BEFORE NOW, IF ANYTHING HE EVER SAID WAS TRUE). NOW I'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO EVEN PURCHASE A TAG FOR THE CAR AND REGISTER IT, SO I'M NOT EVEN LEGALLY ABLE TO DRIVE IT BECAUSE OF THAT. DON'T TRUST A SINGLE WORD FROM BOBBY AT 5 STARR, HE'S A COMPLETE FRAUD AND ONLY OUT FOR THE MONEY. IT WON'T SURPRISE ME IF I EVENTUALLY FIND OUT THERE IS NO TITLE AND I'LL HAVE TO CONTINUE TO PURSUE AN ATTORNEY. I HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS AGAINST THIS BUSINESS WITH THE GA CONSUMER ADVOCACY AND WITH THE GA DEPT OF LICENSING. DON'T TRUST ANYTHING FROM BOBBY-Bobby was absolutely great! I found exactly the car I was looking for, good price, and he gave me a fantastic cash deal. He advised me of the top being inoperable and had it replaced, as well as a small evap leak, which i easily fixed myself. I was even on a time crunch for a trip that i had planned with my grandkids, and since my car wasnt ready yet, he provided a loaner so that i wouldnt have to rent a car, and this was all at no expense to me, other than gas. You can't ask for a kinder, more honest and professional person to work with, and i would highly recommend this dealer. I am going back for my detail, but otherwise, I'm loving my 08 Solara convertible!

The owner, Bobby is great to work with. He's honest and will work with anyone to get them in a vehicle. There are a good selection of vehicles to choose from and the cash prices are amazing! If you do find yourself having to finance a vehicle, he works with you to get the payments you want - of course it also depends on your credit and downpayment. I noticed some issues with my vehicle after purchase and Bobby didn't hesitate to fix what was wrong. The warranty he gives on the vehicle is great and gives you more than enough time to notice what could be wrong so you can bring it back to him to have it fixed while in warranty. There were issues with the title b/c of Covid, but when I notified Bobby I couldn't get my tag, he immediately corrected the problem. I'd definitely purchase another vehicle from 5Starr and would recommend anyone else looking for an affordable vehicle to do so too!

Working with Bobby was a great experience. I was able to get the truck that I wanted after going to 2 other places that led me to false hope that they could get me approved only to be denied and new inquiries on my credit after they said no credit check. I came to Bobby with a pre-approval picked out my Tuscon test drove it got my 2 yr warranty and went home very happy. Will work with him again. update after everything was processed he took me down the street for a free detailing so I left with a clean truck inside and out.

They can fix things but they are super slow and focus on others cars that are just being brought in. They are not accurate on prices just know if they tell you a price it ll go up for whatever reason they want. I had no choice but to come here but just disappointed over and over should have looked around because now i am and keep in mind I m not angry just a fyi if you want to listen tbh keep scrolling for someone else

5 Star Auto has been God sent. My husband and I have been searching for a vehicle for the last 3 weeks and we were referred to Bobby. He took great care of us and got us out of the rentals and into our own vehicle. We truly appreciate it!

I was very impressed with the dealership wasn't given the run around and was able to get me financed even with my credit issues. Bobby was knowledgeable and honest about what I could and could not do with the down payment that I had. I will definitely recommend this Dealership. Don't go in expecting a miracle you got 2015 Honda money but you want a 2019 Honda just be open to his suggestion.

Bobby is AMAZING!!! I came in needing help with repairs on my car that i purchased at another dealership and he got the work done in no time and the quality of work is amazing. I highly recommend anyone to stop by his shop and he sells vehicles as well! Great Service!!! Definitely 5 star!!!

My experience here in the beginning was great. They cooperated with me and made sure I had everything I needed. But now I have been coming to this shop week after week after week because of several problems to the car. This has been going on for so long because they always tell me to come back another day, or my car spends hours a day there for them to not even touch the car. At this point I m just so fed up and is trying to keep my cool! Would not recommend purchasing from here. Even tho I am grateful for the car but the people are very unprofessional.

This place is great! I have purchased every car I own from them since 2006. They service every car I own as well. They have done everything from engine changes to transmission rebuilds to window regulators. They can handle all your automobile needs. I've sent my entire family to them and they continue to take care of them too. The owner is a fair businessman.

Today is the day I get me another car!!! I love 5 Starr Auto and their entire team!!! This will be my 3rd car with them. Great customer service and great care for your car...they'll do their best to work with you!! I highly recommend them if you'd in the business for a new used car!!! Ask for Mike or Bobby and tell them I sent you!!!!

I worked with Bobby Johnson when I bought my 2005 BMW 645. He special ordered it for me and it was exactly the way I wanted it. The staff at the the shop was great to work with, most of all I felt they handled the transaction honestly. I will be back to buy my future cars here.

I bought my car from 5 Starr Auto. Bobby really works with you even when you dont have the best credit or alot of money down. He made me feel like no matter what he would find a way to make sure that I was riding in the car that I chose. The staff was friendly and made me feel like family. I was not aware that this dealership was there but I am glad that I did. Thank you Bobby for helping me and my family. You are a good dude!

A "bait and switch" can also occur when an advertised item is actually not available or if a salesperson refuses to sell the customer the requested product.I Siearra Mathis have been the victim of auto dealer fraud by 5 Starr Auto (a deceptive business practice) by way of misrepresentation. 5 Starr Auto at 1936 Iris Dr SW #2A, Conyers, GA 30094 emailed me 3 days later that a debit transaction was pending due to their receptionist entering in the wrong zip code.I usually do the payments online and was already there for another maintenance issue so I proceeded with the transaction. I received a receipt that the transaction was approved. When I saw the email I called the unprofessional owner Bobby Johnson the next day he was rude and belligerent when I told him that he had the dates wrong & I wasn't about to pay another payment because that payment I received a receipt for didn't go through. I had been up to 5 Starr Auto almost every week since I obtained the car in April. When I notified the bank on 7/12/18 of the mishap of the pending transaction. The bank told me to allow 24-48 hours for any funds to be deposited back on the card. The next afternoon, Less than 24 hours of being followed by a Cadillac STS/CTS and Informed of the company's negligence of payment processing 5 Starr Auto repossessed the vehicle while I was at the park walking my dog.They was such in a hurry they ran over my dog bowl. I would have turned the vehicle in opposed to being stuck on Arcadia Mountain with no cellphone, money or items to get home. I had to walk with my dog in the rain back to Conyers until someone stopped& gave us a lift because not everyone is pit bull friendly.Conducting business with 5 Starr Auto in Conyers, GA I only suffered a financial loss. I trusted them, to trade in my Good 97 Honda Accord & put $1100 down on a poor condition 06 Nissan Altima that was repossessed. The vehicle had multiple mechanical and several cosmetic issues in a "as is" state. At the time of hardship, I took the chance thinking it was company that believes that slogan posted saying "Nobody Walks." They acquired the money from the finance company, took my money, my vehicle and the financed vehicle too. Where does the customer benefit in this unprofessional transaction? They didn't offer payment option, assistance or alternate methods of addressing the issue.While in my possession, I made several trips for maintenance repairs that were unable to address multiple times. I should have known that when I got the vehicle it wasn't clean, only had one speaker and the check engine light was on and the receptionist Mike gave me $5 to put in the gas tank the day I started to finance the vehicle.I had the car over 45 days and still couldn't get a tag due to the car not able to pass emissions.After being denied a transaction after the receipt confirmed the purchase. I spoke with Bobby Johnson on 7/12/18 and he stated it was pending. Any debit takes between 24-48 hours depending on the financial institution. 5 Starr Auto is a SCAM. They Repossessed the car 7/13/18 and illegally possessed my belongings when it was an agreement. I realized that I visited the Department of Tag & Title multiple times within the 45 days & was unable to transfer or issue a tag because the title paperwork was incomplete. They repossessed the vehicle the day before the temporary dealer plate is set to expire. I don't know if the title came back in my name, was there ever a title for the vehicle & how come the car couldn't get a tag? The unethical & disgusting way Bobby Johnson does busines is as a fraudulent used auto dealership.

If I could give no stars I would! I put $4,000 down on a car that I was in desperate need for and not even had for three months and the car ran hot, a tire blew and I had no spar that actually fit and they didn t put oil back into the car once they changed it! I call to let them know I was going to be a little late on my payment an got a response oh that s fine just make sure to pay such a such time/day! Ok no big deal but the next two days I was at my mothers and they snatched it from her front yard without even telling me or anything! Very poor management and very rude employees! Stay far away from this place! Scam artist to the max!

Terrible place to get a car. Two months ago I bought a 2010 Nissan Versa and even though Mike promised to report to the credit bureau..he promised there would be no problem with getting my tag and he also promised there is nothing wrong with the car.Come to find out my lug nuts were loose on the driver side wheel. I had NO brakes. I still do not have my tag for my vehicle. Nothing had been reported to my credit and I am at the place right now dealing with the fact that my axel just came off my car going 45 MPH down the road. They are rude, and when you call about an emergency they tell you they can not help you and that no one is in the building. The lady on the phone told me no one was in the building to fix my car...then proceeds to put me on hold just to tell me that someone told her to tell me that they re not at work. I would NOT recommend!!!

Do NOT buy a car from 5 Starr. If I could give them no stars I would as well.They've had good reviews from 1-2 yrs ago but NOW they are very bad communicators (they dont call you back, you always have to call them when corresponding), very bad customer service (will blame you for car issues), etc. Things started off great until I had to keep taking car back for issues to be replaced only to discover they werent fixing them or seemingly, to me, creating more issues to try & get more money out of me. Bump that!! They are a bunch of low life thieves & crooks who will only discover that karma is REAL!!

I had a check engine light on my Lexus GS 300 and brought it to 5 Star. They were able to fix my car the same day. Their price was much better of a price than the Lexus/Toyota dealership. Highly recommended!

I purchased a 2005 Chevrolet equinox from them. P.O.S. from the test drive. I put it on " layaway " in the hopes when i came back some if the things I had suggested after the test drive might've been taken care of. HE'LL NO! I had suggested a coolant flush it looked in need of. That comes back later. With all of the shaking in the front i suggested $80 for inner and outer tie rod ends after all there were brand new tires on it. Hell No after 4 days it overheats they charge me for a water pump. 3 days later the thermostat . By that time Bobby says "Anymore issues out of this vehicle we're going to have get you in something else" 2 weeks later OVERHEATS AGAIN! But, yet they want to blame me for driving the vehicle. WASN'T THAT WHAT I PURCHASED IT FOR? No instead o get put in this Janky loaner with check engine lights on, transmission issues, no AC. Well maybe if they had started with the coolant flush it wouldn't have cost them a used engine. While the front end continues to rattle with it being an AWD vehicle those should have been addressed immediately. Nope both rear cv axles went. But no loaner after that. Tropical storm Irma my fuel gets messed up because of salt water. HALLELUJAH I'M FREE OUT DONE NO MORE HEADACHE!5 start auto is owned and ran by a bunch of theives and crackhead and Melanie Wallace the biggest 1 she kept stealing from another repair shop in Conyers she was at.Also, as a matter of fact I never went to jail. I used that money to rent a reliable car for my vacation! Accommodating? More like prowling around my house to take off with that raggedy P.O.S on a Wednesday afternoon just to look foolish when I show up with the cash to drive away with that rattling, raggedy P.O.S! So, for you not to get the insurance check from me; good reason for that my agent told me to cash it and use it to get something RELIABLE to drive. Why pay for something that sitting in your shop full of crack heads and still pay for it. SMFH NOPE

Please avoid this place. I got an 06 Kia Sorento from them. On the 31st of August the same day I got the suv went to put gas in it and the gas came right back out the car got all over my feet and pants. Called them right then they say bring it Thursday and we ll fix it. That s not including it had two really bad tires on it. Go back Thursday the tire machine down so I was told to come back Saturday. Go back Saturday they put the tires on but say they replaced the sensor in the gas tank because that was the problem. Lie the gas was still coming out of the car. I ended up losing my job that Sunday called to let them know that I was gone be late making the payment. Oh the bank won t wait. Who is the bank? No one wants to give that answer!!!! Cause i wanted to speak with them. No Bobby tells me it s ok to bring my suv Saturday and come bring the whole pick up payment Tuesday and pick my car back up. LIES LIES LIES!!!! Taneshia kept texting and sending emails. The whole time no one noted my account called yesterday and mike tells me I m noting your account and I ll see you Saturday. Not true they came and took my suv last night. They are very unprofessional and unorganized they are out to hurt people not to help. They act like people don t run into hard times. Be very cautious about this place for 1250 all together on a 06 is crazy anyways. That s my own fault tho
