Had a great experience with Northeast Georgia Performance. I came in needing a torque converter and with an undiagnosed rear differential noise. They removed and replaced the torque converter and had the rear differential diagnosed and repaired faster than other shops take to even get started. Very pleased with the professionalism and quality of service I received!

Well where do I start.Im restoring a 96 Chevy truck that is my prized possession.It was my dad's truck who died 17 years ago.My mom gave it to me a few years back and it is the last thing that I have of my dad's.I wanted to have my differential totally rebuilt with a posi and 3.73 gears.For some reason this place was highly recommended.So I talked to the owner,bought the parts and dropped it off.Got the truck back two weeks later.Parts and labor was 2k.Made it maybe a mile down the road and the rear end was making so much noise that it could be heard over the motor.It was very obvious that it was because the gears were improperly set up by the type noise its making.Either improper pinion depth or incorrect backlash is my guess because the noise starts around 50 mph.Im almost 50 and have been wrenching on cars/hotrods as a hobby for years so I have a little knowledge.Took it straight back to them.They kept it for TWO AND A HALF more months! Charged me $400 more for parts.Makes the same noise and it gets louder every time I drive it and the new pinion seal is leaking like crazy.I have a QA1 suspension on the truck that I've got to go over with a fine tooth comb now also because they didn't even put the damn rear sway bar back on correctly! The truck made no noise whatsoever before I took it to this place.Now I've got to spend God knows what to pay someone else to fix this differential mess all over again! Id do it myself but rear ends are the one thing I'd rather pay someone to do because it's very time consuming and it has to be set up perfectly.I don't understand what the problem was because they get great reviews,but in my very shady experience I wouldn't trust this shop to put gas in my lawnmower.Never again! Avoid this place like the plague!

Chad and his staff took very good care of me. Took in my Silverado hopeful to tune some aftermarket parts and get back running hood, after thoroughly checking over everything they gave not only great advice but removed it and got it running a thousand times better and left me as a customer who will continue giving them my service!

Very knowledgeable I have used many mechanical shops over the years but nowhere have I received as much respect and treated as good as I have here. They treat everyone fairly the day professional work and they fix the problem they don t jerk you around and charge you needlessly!! You can trust these guys!!

Just quality and honest work , very professional and tell you the exact issues with your problem and if not and you in for upgrades Chad and Jordan are the guys to go with , definitely wouldn't take my truck anywhere else , definitely can't wait to get more upgrades, don't shy away to call and ask for information Chad nor Jordan will not make you feel like you don't know what your talking about but not only that they will educate you in the correct direction! Did I mention these guys are fast and efficient! Great vibes and you get your money's worth with just the experience and quality work ! As simple as a break job are the way up to a built motor !

Chad is the best in this industry no doubt! Had my rear differential replaced and new axles put in and it took no time at all. Definitely recommend this guy over anyone in town!

Shop was recommended for a motor swap after another shop made a mess of my car.These guys had my car done fast and done right.I recommend this shop to anyone who's been had by the other shops. Needed this to be fixed and they made it happen. Very,very, happy.

Honest and knowledgeable, with attention to details. Took my truck in for driveline maintenance and have to say very impressed. They definitely are the choice for anything LS but perform all aspects of auto repair on any make or model.
