Took our Honda for oil change and a diagnostic for some engine noise. Service was great and the guys were nice and helpful. Will definitely go back.

Schaffer 's auto care has the best , most helpful and dedicated mechanics in Carroll County. Charlie and Austin could not have been more helpful. I took my car in due to a heat/ air problem , that was also draining my battery. After replacing some parts , the problem was not resolved. After checking off several possible problems , they pinpointed the issue and resolved it , at no additional charge. I highly recommend them .PS: Two days later after this post my car once again showed the same Engine Hot AC Off dash message. Schaeffer replaced several parts so I am puzzled as to the cause of the continued problem. I have decided to seek a second opinion

Wish I could give zero stars. I brought my truck in for a starter replacement. That went perfectly fine by the owners son. But the "mechanic" they had working for them moved the truck outside and could not figure out how to work an automatic window, so he left my window down all weekend In a rain storm. Soaked my interior. Caused my truck to mold all over. I call them and they give it a "detailing" I pick it up, everything still wet kinda smells funny. I'm told it will all dry up. Few months later truck was parked for a couple weeks. Open the truck and it is all moldy all over again. I call them and talk to owner. (After emails and phone tag) owner says he is gonna talk to a buddy and see what they can do. A few days go by I call to get update. No call back. I leave multiple messages with the female receptionist with none of them being returned, so I am left with dealing with all the damage they caused by myself.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are simply great at what they do. Stopped in yesterday to get a price on a couple of things They had a free man on deck and was able to jump right on it, even while having multiple projects going on at the same time. Extremely fair pricing and they aren t afraid to tell you if they aren t comfortable doing something, although they can do just about anything. These guys are awesome and I ll absolutely recommend them to anyone! I appreciate y all boys!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Tire rotations

We were thinking about purchasing a used car for my daughter and I called Schaffer's to see if they could do a pre-purchase inspection. It was SO worth it. Not only did they inspect it, but they stayed past their closing time when they found out I wouldn't be able to be there until after hours. They did a thorough inspection, a detailed report, and were exceptionally friendly and informative. These guys clearly know their stuff and they gave us some great insight on our upcoming purchase. Schaffer s is great! My husband found them while searching online for a good, honest mechanic to take my Honda Odyssey to. After reading reviews for Schaffer s he decided to try them out. They were friendly, honest, and did great work on my van. We took his car in to be worked on today. Nice to finally find a friendly, honest place to rely on for our car care.

I cannot recommend Schaffer s enough. My air compressor went out and I was stuck commuting from Carrollton to Midtown with no air in the Georgia heat. I went to them and they diagnosed the problem quickly. They were honest about the cost and the quote they gave me was the final price. I just started a new job so I couldn t take any time off to wait for my car to get fixed. They understood and went above and beyond to get my car back to me in one day. They even delivered it back to my apartment for me. I am beyond grateful and would recommend them to anyone!Service: A/C installation & repair

I wish I could give a zero. Overall one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Zero customer service. I dropped my car off on a Wednesday. Finally, at the end of the work day on Monday, someone looked at it. At no time did I receive any communication from the business. Every communication had to be initiated by me. There was no urgency or concern to fix my vehicle.On three different mornings, I attempted to call or visit the dealer to initiate conversations about fixing my vehicle. Even though the posted hours for the shop say it opens at 9 AM, I waited until almost 10 AM and no one showed up or answered the phone. I simply gave up.I could give more examples of the awful experience, however, I want to try and forget about it. Stay away from this business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Our experience at Schaffers auto was one to remember! The owner Charles is very knowledgeable with every aspect of an automobile. I was so relieved when I realized this is the kind of shop I've been looking for. Everyone there made me feel comfortable and at home! They are honest, reliable and trustworthy! As I stood there talking to the owner he looked me in the eyes the intire time as his son did while explaining some of the things about my car. I will and have recommended them and I challenge you to trust them with your vehicles and your families vehicles as well. Try them, trust them! Very reasonable prices as well. I'm really glad I found them! 5

We found this place looking on line for car repair places near us who could put on a O2 sensor if we bought the O2 sensor ourselves to bring in with the car.These guys blower my mind.They are all very nice and respectful to us.They only charged us $100. to change out my O2 sensor on my Honda.They asked did we wanna wait or come back.We said we will come back.Well less than a hour later they called us to come get the car.Great place I highly recommend them to anyone and will remember them if I have any car trouble in the future.Thanks Shaffers,. Keep up the good work.

I took my truck to these guys and left it for over a month with no progress made. They pushed jobs in front of mine and gave me the run around on when it would be ready. They pushed easier jobs in front of my truck and gave me false times when the truck would be ready. They lied about looking at it as the truck sat in the same spot for the entirety of the truck being there. Nice people, poor customer service. Would not recommendService: Engine repair

Schaffer s auto care is the best around !. They have the best prices in the local west Georgia area . I am highly satisfied with the service I got they get the job done right and in and out so I can get back on the road . I have known the Schaffer s for seven years and there great people they treat me like family and that s what I like about them. Everyone I seen so far has had great service from them. I m glad we have schaffers auto care because there not like any other shops. So head to Schaffer s auto care and get the best service , quality, and best price around

They're always able to give me helpful advice with any concerns I may have with my car. I typically perform any smaller repairs myself, but for a larger job they would be the first shop I take my problems to. The friendly staff helps top off the overall experience as well.

These guys definitely know what they're doing. They won't try and sell you stuff you don't need, they treat you like family and always look out and care for the customer. These guys are the best around for all your auto needs ! If you like doing business with people with good work ethics that take serious pride in your work, then look no further, because these are the guys! Keep up the good work Schaffers Auto Care!

We went to Schaffer's as first time customers on Thursday 6/18, and got an estimate to have our truck repaired. On Friday morning 6/19 we called to make an appt. explaining that we had just gotten an estimate the day before, for a valve/gasket job.. The lady said she had no idea what we were talking about. We then took our truck to Schaffer's to show them the written estimate and to make an appt. We were told to come on Monday 6/22 @ 9:30 to have the work done. I asked the man if he needed my name or phone # he said no, see you Monday. I arrived on Monday 6/22 @ 9:15, and no one was there, everything was closed. I waited outside, and finally someone pulled in @ 9:30, he got out of his truck and went inside, come to find out there was someone inside, but didn't bother to try to help us, the man that had pulled up asked the guy in the office "do you want me to open the door's" The first thing the guy said is my lift is broken, I advised him that I had an appt. @ 9:30 and showed him the card. He said well you can leave the truck or bring it back tomorrow, because the lift is broken bring it back tomorrow. NOTE: my repair does not require needing to use a lift. No one tried to apologize, no one tried to assist me anymore. Never have I ever been treated with so much disrespect. We were first time clients, we chose this place because it was close to home, & in there ad, they stated 60 yrs in the business, & family owned. Even states on there website "Each customer is treated like family" well let me just advise anyone thinking about going there that all they do is misrepresent who they are. It is a shame, when you have pricing and appt. on a card and no one wants to even give you any service. I feel that I was totally discriminated against and I will never again give them the opportunity to have my business.

I was very happy to find a location to take my Tahoe. I went for an oil change this time. The staff were very friendly and very quick with their service. I will use them again for future car repair needs.

Got there 7:55, website say it open 8. Waiting till 8:15. No one there. Called... got voice mail, left message waited till. 8: 30. No one showed, so I left. They just call me at about 9:15 and we set an appointment for tomorrow. I will update after the services. For full disclosure, I try to get appoint off website, and could not. Email back and forth a few days and then did the above. If going go here be old fashioned, call. So they were quick, freindly, and offer me coffee. This is mom and pop, if fancy lounge and coffee, not the place for you. I only know of them because of a Groupon.

I just have to give Schaefer's two thumbs up!!!! customer care friendliness and honesty is grrr8,,I drive almost 30 miles just to have my oil change ,tires rotated ,brakes done, and tune up on my Nissan Murano, the folks here are very friendly, professional and if you really don't need something they don't try to take your money, I wish more places in Auto Care will be like Schaefer's Auto Care, it's hard to find a good mechanic as it is, and being a woman, Schaefer's does NOT try to manipulate or intimidate and scam females,I was going to be at the shop for a while for the tune up, they made sure I was okay asked if I needed anything, shared their coffee pot with me.. again I will say Schaefer's automotive, is highly recommended and trustworthy, they do not take your money if something is not recommended to be fixed unlike most automotive places do. Thank you shaffer's automotive for being the most honest family operated business to come to for repairs on my automobiles sincerely Jo White, of Newnan Georgia
