After not answering me for 2 days, I finally got John on the phone, and as I was explaining to him what my issue is, he completely cut me off, mid-sentence, and said "I'm not interested ok? Take care".... and hung up. Very rude individual!!

Was told I should just do it myself cause it s a 5 minute job and they ll charge me $125 for a whole hour. If I have to drive an hour, I ll go anywhere else before they get my business.Guy was just generally rude and condescending.

Best service I ve ever experienced In this Industry! Years of knowledge, does great work , stand behind work boldly with confidence and pride. The most honest, humble, and patient human I ve ever done buisness with in this industry. Prices are fair however, you re paying for quality and the expertise. Feasible turn around time.

Moved here almost 25 yrs ago. I would venture to say that after he rebuilds a head or complete engine or what ever other component of a car, it's as good and probably better than buying new. A good and Truly honest company owned by John Puckett. Never have seen any other person as meticulous with a rebuild. Your nuts if you guys out there don't use Automotive Machine Shop. Out of 5 Stars, I give them a 10!

I took my heads to him day. I had never been in before. When I left I was extremely impressed with the ower. I got help and information that no other shop would have gave me. My case was a disappointment because my heads were cracked and I will have to find more. But I know now know what to look for to purchase a 2nd set. I know the part number of every part it will take to finish and I understand the difference in the parts. Hes a good man. If you need any machining done. Just between you and I, GO talk to this man. You'll be impressed. I definitely recommend this shop. God bless.

I have zero complaints. He had done a excellent job for me . I could not have asked for a better experience. Especially being my first time. Having to deal with my head and pistons . He came highly recommended. WAS NOT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!

Very fast and professional shop. I called ahead to get some work done and the moment I got there they had me checked in and a guy working on my issue, got me taken care of same day. Cant ask for much more. Thanks!

Great service. John Puckett built us a 357 high performance engine for a 1983 chevy truck. We love it! It has alot of power and runs great.

Best Little machine shop around. John really cares about what he is doing. If you want it done right this is your place, John doesn't like cutting corners!

Charged $80 to clean heads, what a joke. I guess he didn't like that I wasn't ok waiting six months to have the motor machined.
