Great service and honest. Did not charge me I until they discovered my issue. Did not accept any payment from me until several weeks after the process of finding the problem began. Bob, Travis, Nathan and all the guys do great work.

My car was having trouble & I drove in to see if they could help me. they looked at my car and gave me their opinion and informed me that they were a foreign auto repair shop mainly & were not comfortable working on my car. they were very helpful with their opinion & not charging me for their time. if I should get a foreign car, I'd go back.

Jason is very good at communicating the status of one's car repair. He is very kind and on task. Sometimes we females feel like repair shops are going to rip us off. This place was very upfront and I will definitely return here for my car repairs...

What can I say about excellent service? That you will find it in A1 Auto. The folks are professional, thorough, and friendly. The communication regarding repairs is timely and issues are explained in detail. I have frequented this shop for over five years with three different cars and received outstanding care for each of them. For over 15 years, Bob and his team have never failed to fix my vehicles in a timely and affordable way. Toyota, GMC, Lincoln, Ford, Subaru, and Nissan. Mechanical, electrical, A. C., oil change, check engine light, all my vehicle issues, large or small, received the same friendly and timely attention. They once got my 1931 Ford pickup running like a 'sewing machine'!! I drive from Douglasville to Carrollton passing numerous repair shops along the way to let A-1 work on my cars. Trust is something earned. I trust A-1.

IF I could do zero or negative stars..I WOULD! My daughter called this "repair" shop to inquire about replacing the engine in her deceased dad's '06 Mercedes. She was advised to call back to speak with" Bob" because he apparently has more knowledge of Mercedes so she just called back and the person who answered was extremely rude and told her "we wouldn't be interested " so she said "Sir I'm not trying to sell it, just get it repaired" and he told her they are not interested in doing the repair because it isn't "worth it"..LIKE WHAT!!??? MUST BE NICE TO TURN DOWN THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS...JUST WOW!!

A-1 Auto repair always gives me excellent service on my Toyota and Nissan. They are very professional, trustworthy, courteous and thorough in checking all concerns about my vehicles. They always let me know when next service is due , plus alert me about anything else that needs attention. Costs are always very reasonable.I have been using A-! auto for many years for service and repairs , and have been completely satisfied each time. Mr. Bob and his staff are always friendly and courteous.I highly recommend them and wouldn't think of trusting my vehicles to anyone else.

Fantastic shop, very fair with pricing and they've done great work on the three jobs I've had with them. I have a 10-year-old 135i and they're the only shop I'll take it to in or near Carrollton. Very pleased overall with the team. Shocked at the high rating. We took our car in for a coolant leak to which they said we needed a new water pump. We agreed to take it in and asked that a compression test be done and we get the results BEFORE installing the water pump and paid an additional $100+ for that test. We never got the results of that test and they installed the water pump without disclosing our compression test results. When picking up our car our hood was broken which they blamed on the hydraulics wearing out but that doesn t explain the broken parts. On top of that our car is still leaking coolant and we ve now paid $800+ for a car that is in worse shape now than when we took it in. I ll never stop telling everyone I know to not go here.

I took my car here for a diagnostic. Bob gave me his honest opinion and advice about the car which I truly appreciated. I actually took his advice and it saved me money. He is direct and straight to the point. He was very understanding of my concerns. You can't beat this place. ESPECIALLY with Mini Coopers. They're still working on my car but Bob has been just wonderful! I am always afraid of shops taking advantage of me but after speaking to them I realize the only ones taking advantage was the dang DEALERship. They're great!!

A-1 auto is the best place to get your fix. Bob and his sons are honest and will not try to rip you off. Ive been coming here for years and I will never use anyone else to fix my car. I would definitely rent to anyone if you have a problem with your car take it to A-1 auto

The reason I haven't given them 5 stars is because I haven't gotten my car back yet. But I've had to call them multiple times and they are all really nice and the owner helped me out some since money was kinda tight.If the repair is done well i think I've found one hell of a repair shop

I've been driving a 2001 Lexus GS 300 since 2004. Around 2009, a coworker told me about A1 and I started to take my car to this shop. The service has been phenomenal! You might not get the "upper crust"/high class amenities which you'll get at the dealership, but not the price either and your car WILL BE repaired correctly.In addition, I bought my then 20 year old (he's 29 now), in college son a used, high mileage and on the brink 1998 Lexus GS 300 which has also been serviced at this same shop (he's since bought himself a newer 2013 GS 350). For the price of the repairs to keep both of these nearly 300,000 miles PAID FOR cars running, I could not be more pleased.Mr. Bob and his team are THE BEST!!!!!

Fair price, knowledgeable of Toyota MR2s, honest, reliable. Troubleshooted and replaced transmission. Works mostly by himself which causes delay in quick turnaround. Will use his services again if needed.

I'm only giving them two stars because they got my car fixed with no mechanical issues. So im not one to complain at all but there were just some alerting things that caught my attention during this experience. Initially when I called them about my repair the quote was "$200" but when I got there in person (After I arranged my tow company to drop it off here) he said he wouldnt be able to tell me a price untill he sees the damage, so the tow truck comes and puts the car down so I give them a few minutes to look at what happened and for him to tell me a quote he continues to say "I dont know" "I dont know" which really had me stressed cause initially I came here cause of the price. So I had to go home wondering if I would have enough money for the new balance he would come up with I just felt like that was really weird. anywhere else i asked they told me a price straight up. Also the work was really messy they didnt bother to inspect my vehicle before returning it I had to pull all this plastic out from between my seat and clean the dirt rags they left in my car! Service was ok. Customer Service was horrible but they did the job. Also on their website it says student discounts available and also offers a 10 percent off coupon and when I got there she said "Oh we're not doing that at the moment" ....then why is it advertised (false marketing). She said if i had the coupon "printed and not on my phone" I could use it. Good thing I printed it out before I left! but I wont be returning. I didnt feel welcome.

Had the ex wife's car taken there after a bleeder valve broke off the tstat housing. Found a piece of trash under the hood that was not from me. I did fix a oolant hose before the valve broke. It ended up needing the tstat housing replaced. Price was more then fair and they were able to fix it rpretty fast. But when asked about it get td it wSas taken to them in pieces when one was in the hatch and I called and left a message about it. I've worked on car for more then 30 years and I never eat when working on the. I also didn't take the front end off to work on it.

Went to get a quote for my car repair, and the owner said to me If I don t like his prices to get my car fixed then I shouldn t have gotten a BMW, I don t have to get my car fixed at his shop, I can take it somewhere else and come back to him eventually to get it fixed the right way. Unbelievably rude and unnecessary comment especially when I was kind and asked for simple information. I will not return for service.

Andrew was the technician that serviced my Toyota. He is friendly and provided excellent customer service. I will take my car back in the future for other repairs instead of going to the dealership.

Knowledgeable technicians but the only thing that I was assured of was that I would get billed $165 for a diagnosis that wouldn't be included in the price to fix my car. Refused to even look at my 1996 318ti.

They made up stories about what was wrong with my car. Then was going to way over charge to fix it. I'm so glad I took it for a second and third opinion elsewhere.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the folks at A1. I have a 2011 BMW that has given me a little headache and A1 has been the medicine. As far as I know, they are the only shop in Carrollton that works on BMWs that knows about them. This is an honest business that I will recommend to everyone.
