Blew a tire on I-75 south of Perry, at 8PM. Called half a dozen places, including this one, trying to find a tire. They missed our call the first time, but the owner, Curtis, called back to see if we still needed help, and boy, did we. No one else would help us this late, or had the tire in stock, but Curtis not only had it in stock, but *called back* after missing our call. When we came in, over an hour later, he remembered our specific measurements without us saying anything more than our situation. His team got our tire replaced very quickly, and we were back on the road within just a few minutes of arriving, at 10PM.This man really cares about what he does. We weren't special. I saw him treat several other customers the same way while we were getting ours replaced. If you're stuck on the road, give them a call. Call a few times if necessary; they're pretty busy, and for good reason.

My company rented owner, Curtis Smith, a billboard for a discounted rate for his American Tire and Battery Store in August 2022. Since then, he has refused to pay any rental invoices and avoided all phone calls and text messages. He said his family experienced a big loss in December, so we allowed him a couple months to get his affairs in order. We've got a record of ALL texts and emails that we've sent with read receipts and empty promises of him telling us that he will be sending in payment that I'd be happy to publicly share. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY UNTRUSTWORTHY!

Terrible, went to get a tire for my car trailer 16 Mar 24, I was told it would be $89.00 for a like new tire and that it would take them about 20 mins to swap. When I went back to pick up my wheel/tire, the tire was 10 years old, dry rotted and over half worn, their card machine was also broken and they would only accept cash. I asked for them to remove the tire they installed on my wheel and I was told I had to pay the bill or I would not get my wheel back.

Used these people about a month ago the price of the tire was $169 and it cost $220 for service totaling at about $400 for a single tire. It was the middle of the night and they had my size. They did a shoddy job tire looks horrible and they put some type of black plaster on the side and after riding on the interstate it got all over the side of my car and exposed some paper towel stuffed in between the tire and wheel. After they put my tire on the guy almost took off with my wheel lock. I only used these people because they were the closest that had my tire. This is not a $400 job.

American tire and battery charged me 1285.01 for two tires and install. Both tires were fairly worn, one had a nail in it and the other had just been plugged.The fact that they were used tires was not disclosed. When I called the company, the next morning about it (7-16). I was told that I didn t pay that much for the tires, I was paying for the service. But they would be happy to send me a new tire within 7-10 business days to the address I provide, so on July 19th I called them back with the address to mail the tire to I was also told that they would only be mailing me one tire, because even though the other tire had a nail it in it was only a surface nail otherwise, we would be losing air. they were to be mailing it out on the 24th and that I was to call back next Wednesday (7-26) for a tracking number. I have called almost every day since then and still can t get anyone to provide me with a tracking number.7-31- spoke with Allen, he gave me his personal cell number so that he could communicate with me, and that he was trying to get me the information I was needing.8-1- called asked for the tracking number, the person that answered the phone did not identify himself but said I don't know and hung up. Tried to call again, and it went to voice mail. I left a detailed message of what i needed with my name and phone number.They are refusing to give us an itemized receipt that we need for our insurance claim. They hang up us when we call. These people should not be in business.

If i could do 0 stars i would. Quoted me $120 for 245 75 r16 for a used tire which was unbelievable because a new tire is $125 at Walmart. Not wanting anything for free but that is ridiculous, but we needed a tire bad so we decided to go there and when we arrived nobody was around with tools everywhere. The attendant was next door at the store and when he came back he has pj s and bedroom shoes on and said we needed a special tool to change the tire which was a lie. We left and the next morning went to 24 Hour Tire Shop LLC at 3245 Mercer university, Macon, Georgia 31204 and got a used tire $69.55.DO NOT SHOP WITH AMERICAN TIRE & BATTERY

Do not use American tire and battery in warner robins. Wife stopped to get a patch they took the tire off the car put it back on the car said they could not fix it and charged $44 dollars. Then said they had a used tire they could sell her for $105. They must not own a 6point metric socket either

I was on 75S right off exit 146 when my tire blew out around 4:50pm. Roadside assistance hasn t shown up and customer service was giving me the run around so I reached out to a 24H service. The initial guy closest to me didn t have a ride to get to me so he called this place around 7pm. They initially quoted me ~$430 to removed and place a new tire on my car. After saying they d come to me in 10 minutes they showed up 30 minutes later. The tire change didn t take long but when they came back the price jumped to $589 plus $20 card fee. I left the side of the highway around 8:50pm. The guys were nice and helpful but I know a scam when I see one. Car insurance is going to reimburse for there roadside assistance failures but people need to be aware of how expensive this place is. I got a full set of NEW perelli tires from Sam s club for less than the price of that one tire. I m grateful I could afford it and for their help but just be mindful.

bad experience charged us 135 dollars for a used tire next day bought 2 new tires with warrenty for 96 dollars each we are on fixed income disabled and felt we was taken advantage of got new tires at a respectible tire store down the road not at this place

Showing wire and barely any tread after three months supposedly a new tire. Also make sure they put the right size tires on your vehicle if you make the mistake of going to this establishment because they put the wrong size on mine then told me it was no big deal. Please beware this is a shoddy place of business. Also, please look at the pictures.

I m so happy I found this place. I don t live near the area however I had a flat coming up the highway & needed a new tire quickly. Called this place & the gentlemen I spoke with, the owner got my tire size & told me to stop on by when I was ready. When I arrived I was greeted so kindly by a woman that worked there. She made me feel so good about coming there ! I ended up needing two tires instead of one & the crew not only did this for me quickly but they were happy to do so. Such a friendly group of people! & the prices were great! I would recommend to anyone.

Helped me a lot being the only place in town that's open 24/7. Sold me after market tires at a reasonable price and Curt was a real pleasure to deal with. My #1 spot for tires from now on.

Truthful honest quality work! They got our tire fixed which developed a bubble and They worked hard to help my family to get back on the road to head to back the west coast. Thank you to the guys who helped us today 6/26/22. Much appreciated!

Garbage!!! Tires are damaged. Used tires are repaired before they are put on the vehicles. Very expensive for the quality. The customer service is good, but it's a distraction so you won't question the price or quality. Curtis doesn't drug test his employees, so if something gets damaged he says he isn't responsible for damages caused by them. I suffered 500$ in damage to my vehicle due to the poor decision I made by using this tire shop. Don't make the same mistake I made.

From start to finish the service here was awesome!! My tire blew out on I-75S around midnight and I drove 15 miles to get to American Tire since they are open (24 Hours) CURTIS helped me with recommending a good replacement, he was super kind and personable. He had me out and back on the road safely within 10-15 min... would definitely recommend to go here for your tire needs whether it be an emergency or service inquiry. Thanks Curtis and American Tire :)

This place....... I came in today 9/12/2021 I brought a rim up there already off the car and got a used tire put on. I asked up front what it was going to cost and the guy ignored my question as he ran to the back of the shop to put a tire on the rim for me. As I waited for almost a hour to finally find out that it was going to cost me 75 dollars plus almost 3 dollars to use my card!! And the tire isn't even like new it might have 25 percent tread life left! Horrible! I have done business here in the past I don't know what changed but its rally bad now! Wont be back they just lost me as a customer! Thanks for ripping me off!

My wife had a blowout on 75 a Friday night. Roadside assistance put her spare on for her as I made the drive to her as I knew there wouldn t be anything in the area open that late especially with it being around New Years. She found American 24hr tire so I called them and the gentleman was so friendly and professional and the price he quoted was incredibly low (for a new tire) . He even asked if we needed him to come and change it on site. My wife was able to drive to him on the spare and he was super nice and accommodating. She was in and out within 15 minutes and the price he quoted was what he charged. This is the place to go especially if you are a large and need to get the job done safely professionally and quickly. So grateful for this place!

This tire shop is the best! I ran over a nail last night in my travels from state to state and Rick the night manager was at the shop at 12am. He said "swing by and I'll take care of that tire no problem". He did not lie! Got me a great deal and tire. Had me on my way in 30 minutes. Thank you Rick! God bless you brother!

If it were possible I d rate this place with negative stars. While driving north bound on I-75 my driver side rear tire blew. I was recommended to this company by the tow truck company I called. From the moment we arrived there was a lot of confusion. There was little to no communication during the service. I left $160 lighter with little faith in the rim and tire placed on my vehicle. I made it three exits down before the entire TIRE CAME OFF THE RIM. Yes you read that correctly the tire came off the rim as I was driving on the interstate! When I called and spoke to the employee I was rightfully upset. I sent the employee pictures to their personal cell phone to prove the damage. The employee agreed to refund me for the services. After receiving a receipt for my refund I was told by the employee that they were done with me when I asked to speak with an owner or a manager. There was no regard for my safety or my vehicle. What concerns me is what could have happened to my family and I had I not been driving vigilantly. Please just wait until a reputable business is open to receive a tire.

I 100% appreciated the service provided hear at American Tire 24hr. Mr Curtis and the crew went out of their way to make sure my niece car was safe and running above superb for her travel to college. Thanks for all your help, kindness, honesty, and amazing job and service. You have a new customer!!

Ran into some road debris and broke fender and blew out tire on road not too far from them after 9pm. AAA not really of use as tow would be more than 5 miles away to nearest open tire place thus adding cost ($6/mile) and time. Car wasn t driveable due to ruptured tire and had no dummy on me. Google led me to these guys. Great service at highway roadside at 10pm. Reasonable tire price. $89 for them to come to me on I-75 and swap out tire. Easy. Then had some rubbing from broken fender. Followed them back to shop and they quickly hammered and ripped and tied off the hanging parts and allowed me to continue on my way. Helpful and Pleasant result from a stressful and less than ideal situation.

if i could give 0 stars i absolutely would! my tire blew out while three hours from home. this was the ONLY tire shop that we could find and it was still out of the way. no biggie because it was an emergency. the manager seemed very nice. he offered me a great deal on four NEW tires and i was obviously down. he wouldn t let me enter my card information to pay because he was scared i would dispute it. then he wrote me a receipt that simply stated 4 tires . about a week after i noticed a noise from my tires so i took it to my local tire shop and they found the tires were from 2017, all different sizes and the back tires were DRY ROTTED. i gave the tire shop a chance to resolve the issue but they stated they would send me new tires and not issue a refund. well i have three small children and this is my only vehicle to get them around in so obviously that wouldn t work for me. i got scammed and have learned my lesson but BEWARE

These crooks charged me over $80 for a USED tire. This was not my first time using them so I didn t ask for the price until the tire was getting installed. I told them that I have never paid this price and they stated that the price has always been $69.95 plus $10 labor LIES. I asked for the owners name and number and was told that the number was located on the receipt. Women BEWARE!!!!

On my way home I had a situations where my tire blew on I-75. Me not being the most savvy with cars I called for help and was referred to this shop. The owner is super humble, Courteous, and GENUINE (very difficult to come by...especially in GA). If you find your self in a bind or just need a check up, this is the place. Also, they are very quick and timely! Thank you again for a fantastic experience and making sure my travels moving forward are safe.

This shop is great!!!! I was on the side of the road for 2 hrs waiting for a tow this weekend.The tow company said it would be another 45 minutes. I called American Tire and the owner got someone out to me in 15 minutes flat!!!!! They changed my tire and had me on the way in no time.

Josh took really good care of us. We were on our way back home to Tennessee from Florida when we had a flat and needed a tire. Pulled into the lot and had my car in the shop within a matter of minutes and back on the road in no time. Definitely recommend! A+ service....

We pulled in at 10 pm and we got 2 like new tires and they spotted a nail in one of our old tires that we were keeping. Needless to say we are so grateful and apppreciative. Curtis and Josh treated us like home folks . If you are in need of good tires and good service this is the place to come!!!!!! thanks again for all your help, you are a blessing

I got a screw in my tire today. The staff were very friendly and quickly repaired the tire. Satisfied with the service, but not the $25 for a flat repair. Discount Tire does it for no charge, most other places for $15.

Had a problem with the professionalism!!! Was looking to purchase tires for my fiance's vehicle on 1/13/2020... Simple enough! So I heard her call for a quote. A woman answered the phone and very unpleasant. My fiance gave her the make and model of the vehicle but was unable to give her a tire size... The woman proceeded to cuss my fiance out; Accusing her of calling to speak with her husband!!! I tried calling back to speak with the owner but have yet to speak with anyone about this rude employee... I don't know what personal problems the woman may have, but a place of business: is not a place to conduct that type behavior... I will definitely take my business elsewhere....

Got a nail in the tire around 8pm on 75 north. Curtis and his team got us patched up and on the road in less than 10 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and personable.If your in a need for tire service I highly recommend. Especially if your local.
