I got my 1979 Chevy c10 350 small block worked on here. The old exhaust deteriorated and I was in need of a new exhaust. Brian and Bill were very helpful and knowledgeable. Got headers installed, dual exhaust with chrome tips, motor mounts replaced and removed front bumper stops! They are professional and their work is amazing! Definitely will be coming back!

I was quoted 4 weeks to rebuild the engine and transmission in my '77 Ford F150. They had it for over 7 months. At no point during this 7 month period did I receive any communication that I didn't have to hound them for. I understand that things can take longer than expected but 4 weeks to 7 months is a pretty big disparity. If this were the only challenge, I wouldn't be writing this review. After waiting that 7 months with no communication, the job they did was so terrible. They said they "tested it" and it was "running great". I didn't make it 10 minutes from the shop before it died at a red light. Then it died again in a gas station and again as I came into my neighborhood. It ran horrible. Not to mention the newly rebuilt transmission wasn't shifting into 3rd gear until around 55 mph. I immediately took it back and they had it for another month to put a new distributor in it (which did not solve the problem of it running like crap at all). They adjusted the transmission to shift at the correct time, but when I picked the truck up the second time, it still ran like crap, died in parking lots, overheated and would slip right out of park if it were on the slightest incline. Each time I pick it up they swear it's been thoroughly tested and works great and I can't get out of the parking lot before I notice major problems. I take it back again and they sit on it for another month to sort out the bugs. They tell me it's my fault because MY fan is no longer sufficient (The auto experts didn't know that when they put the fan back on and tested it??). OK, I have them put a new fan on it and pay more for that. In the time all this is happening the radiator springs a leak due to overheating and I have to pay for that as well but I installed that myself. In doing that I realize that the lower radiator hose was installed too close to the serpentine belt and was cut and leaking (the parital cause of the overheating and need for a new radiator). I fix all that myself and it's still having major issues. Water was boiling in the block!! Had to take it back for more weeks. They discover that the source of all these issues that have cost me hundreds of dollars and months of it being in the shop was because they installed the head gasket backwards (and of course the cut in the lower hose). I also had them adjust the timing several times because it had significant spark knock. Well they fixed it and made some adjustments and I picked the truck up again. It mostly ran ok, but within about 3 days I noticed a loud clanging and found the bracket for the power steering pump was about to fall off. I tightened that up myself and drove on for a couple months trying to get to the 500 mile mark so I could take it back for some minor tuning and an oil change. Several times during the two months I've actually had it back it's died at lights, idled really rough, barely stays running, backfires etc. So I take it and Bryan tells me it's all my fault because I'm running 87 octane gas. Says they built a race motor and I'm a fool for running 87. I specifically told them when I dropped it off that I would rather have more fuel economy than more horsepower (IT'S A 4WD FARM TRUCK NOT A RACE CAR. IT STARTED WITH AROUND 200HP FACTORY). I did not ask for a race motor and the biggest eye roll of all is that this race motor currently has less than 240HP. OK, I get it, they did exactly the opposite of what I asked and the truck that ran just fine for 47 years on 87 octane now needs premium gas so it won't die at a red light. The truck was nearly empty so I filled it up with premium gas just to test that theory, and just as I expected it still has a ton of spark knock so Bryan has been proven to be 100% full of it yet again. Bottom line, I spent thousands of dollars and a year later my truck runs worse than it did at the start and Bryan told me to shut my hood and never come back because I've done nothing but whine and complain the entire time. Like all the major problems with their work were all in my head. Don't waste your time and money

I was absolutely lucky to be referred to Brian and his team at Muscle Car Therapy to repair my old C5 Corvette. Being assigned overseas for the past three years, my car has been in storage that entire time. The IAL storage team notified me they had damaged the transmission and it was stuck in gear. Not having seen or touched the car for so long, I gave Brian a call... Now, there are few times when you meet an absolute expert--that is Brian. He knew exactly what was wrong, diagnosed it over the phone, and said he would prioritize my repair to get the car shipped...thank you so much! Listen, stop looking around, Brian and Muscle Car Therapy is the team to go to. I hope to work with them again!

Brian (Shop owner) and Bill, with all the other guys are great people to trust your Muscle Car with to work on. They are very knowledgeable, skilled, HONEST, informative, and easy to talk to. Brian doesn't mind answering all your questions even if you searched Google and YouTube a little too much, and he does so without seeming bothered or annoyed. Also, his prices are reasonable. So, if you have a Classic/Muscle car and looking for someone who you can trust to do good work or an honest opinion, then contact Brian at Muscle Car Therapy. Also, They are having a toy drive December 4th & 5th.
