I wanted dual exhaust for my Ram. After talking with Jay. We came up with a plan on what needs to be done. The work was done in one day. My truck sounds awesome and the work he did is above reproach. He was recommended over several other shops and now I know why. Truly a professional of his craft. I would highly recommend him for exhaust work. He is one of the good Ole boys. Not many left in this progressive world.

4/4/2024 this review does not reflect the new owners of this establishment that will be taking over within the next couple of weeks But it does reflect as they call him junkyard Jay I spoke to him Tuesday in person about doing some work on my vehicle and was told to come back today. I asked him what time and he said I don t know sometime in the morning. I proceeded to show up at 10 o clock. He opens at 8 o clock to which I get there and see him shaking his head at me telling me he can t do it. I should ve came earlier. He has other plans now he then proceeded to say that to me two or three more times this time saying I told you to be here this morning. Again, this does not reflect the new owners, but if you come across Jay Somewhere else with a new shop I highly recommend you stay away. He is very rude and unprofessional to deal with. Hopefully, the new owners of this establishment will be 10 times better and I wish them luck.

Just talked to Jay what a experience that was . He is very professional at what he does . Massive knowledge in cars and trucks . Excellent customer service outstanding to see his work very honest person to deal with. Highly recommend 124 to take care of your rides

I set up my appointment with Jay. He was easy to communicate with and gave me an upfront price for my job which you normally wont find in this line of work. He did a great job and did it for a great price. That is hard to find in today s society.

I called the day of to ask if I could come by for him to take a look at my exhaust pipe. I wasn t expecting him to weld it back that day but he not only took a look at it, he explained what was going on with my car and told me up front what costs would be expected. He welded it back while I was there and also put air in my tires since the front looked low. Above and beyond!

Junkyard Jay killed it on my muffler install. I called him a few days ago and he fit me in to get a new muffler welded onto my truck. I showed up to drop the truck off and he had a great friendly personality. He was ready to help and even helped me with some knowledge about some other stuff I have already done to the truck. After he welded the muffler the welds look great and he has an awesome price point for the quality of work!I highly recommend this muffler shop!Service: Exhaust

124 Muffler did prompt & wonderful work on my car. I dropped it off at 9 & picked it up at 11. I had a heat shield rattle for years. Took it in, he diagnosed it & fixed it & the noise disappeared. I'm highly appreciative.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Jay is a great man with charisma and a wonderful personality that'll keep you laughing. Had a great time chatting with him and his wife, and even their new additional family member "River"; beautiful playful dog. 124 Express Muffler is a very reliable, honest, knowledgeable and friendly business. I used this local shop based on the reviews I read. I called Jay (owner) for an appointment he told me to bring in my truck and he would look at it, but had 2 vehicles in front of me and not sure he could get to it today. I took in my truck b/c it was extremely loud and the check engine light was on. He looked at it and diagnosed the problem in less than a minute. He showed me the problem, and gave me a price. I left the vehicle and he called me after hours to let me know the issue, as well as several others, were fixed. ALL for the original price he quoted me, which was very reasonable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 124 Express Muffler and Jay and his dog! It is nice to meet and do business with someone you can trust! Had the pleasure of visiting this business. I say pleasure because that's exactly what it was. I wanted to upgrade my exhaust system and after calling several muffler shops all wanted me to bring it by so they could take a look at what the job would require. After calling Jay he told me what the job required, gave me options and quoted me a price that was much cheaper than I expected. When I arrived at my appointment time he was ready to start my job. He is very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He calls himself "Junkyard Jay" but he's really a master fabricator. Looking around the shop at the eclectic projects Jay is undertaking really makes you appreciate his understanding of form and function. This is so much more than a muffler shop. There was no upselling. The price he quoted was the price I paid. I highly recommend this establishment.

One of my tailpipes got bent downward about 4 inches. I called Jay on Monday and took my Ram in the first thing Tuesday. He knew right away what the problem was and readjusted the pipe while I waited. The whole thing only took a minute and he refused to charge me anything...Really nice guy and great customer service.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Jay is a real friendly and knowledgeable guy. Came in this morning wanting a more throatier exhaust note for my new truck and he offered me his advice and suggestions on what I should do to get the sound I want. He was honest and upfront with the price, didn t try and up-sell me on anything. He was very busy this morning but told me to call later today, hopefully he can get me in, if not I m fine with waiting for him. I ll update when I get my work done.Update: Jay was able to get me in this afternoon and all I can say is Wow! He set me up with exactly what I was looking for. I ll be seeing him again in the future for anything else I need.

I ordered a specialty muffler for our handicapped van and it arrived today around 2:30 pm. I called Jay to set up an appointment to have him put it on for me thinking it would be about 2 weeks because of my work schedule. He told me to come on over and he would put it on today even though I was an hour away. I arrived a little after 4:00 PM and I was driving home by 4:39 PM. Jay is amazing. His price was very reasonable and his workmanship was fantastic. Thank you Jay

On first impression Jay is very relaxed laid back guy but his knowledge surpasses everyone else in this business that I have met. He kept his word on completing the job in the same day even if he had to stay late which he did. But the best part was Jay provided everything I wanted a smoother exhaust, a better sound and better gas mileage. Do not be misled by first impressions Jay is without a doubt an expert in his trade and I will be bringing all my vehicles to him for service. In fact I plan on bringing him my Jeep wrangler TJ next week to be re worked. Last note his price is better than any I have gotten as it is beyond fair and reasonable.

Got dual exhaust for my Dodge Ram. Sounds incredibleBeen wanting to do this for years, but could not find anybody that would do it. Either wanted too much or didn't want to do it at all. Jay never hesitated and gave a great price. When I arrived even though he was busy he stopped and came out to look at my truck.He treats you like a friend he has known for years.I highly recommend his shop to everyone.Thanks Jay for the awesome rumble.

No appt, no problem! Jay took care of my needs with a new muffler to add a bit of deeper sound in my truck. Work was done quickly. I would highly recommend this shop and Jay for any exhaust work you need done. (He can even help with lowering wheelchairs and other assorted fabrications if you need!)

I went to 124 based on reviews and probably passed 10 shops on the way there. Jay is an exhaust genius. I went with his recommendation on a magnaflow muffler for my Tahoe after talking to him for a few minutes on the phone. He installed it in about 30min and it sounded exactly like I wanted. Also on another visit there, had a flange nut/bolt cut off and a new one installed which took him a whole 10 minutes. Unbeatable prices, cool shop, very satisfied. If you need exhaust work done go there.

Drove from Port Charlotte, FL to Hoschton, GA. by the time we got close to our destination it was really dark out on the highway and we ended up hitting something small on the road. it went under the car and shot out the back. my car started making a rattling sound the next day whenever it was idle. i assumed it was the muffler so i called 124 Express Muffler and asked if they could take a look. not only did they look at it super quick (not even an hour after i called) but he fixed the issue by bending my heat plate by my muffler back into place since that's what was causing the issue. if i ever ran into another issue in this area i would 110000% go to this place! they are so responsive, very welcoming at their business, and their service is amazing!
