Extremely Disappointing Experience Avoid at All Costs!I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing encounter with this auto repair shop. Despite its convenient location near my home, my decision to bring my car here for repairs turned out to be a colossal mistake.My initial visit was to get an estimate following a rear-end collision. However, I never received an estimate or any information about what repairs were covered by my insurance. Despite this, the shop went ahead with the repairs, raising a significant red flag right from the start.Upon receiving my car back, I was shocked to find that not only were the repairs incomplete, but my vehicle was returned in an appalling state contaminated with rodent droppings! It's unimaginable that a professional establishment could subject a customer to such conditions.I addressed these concerns with Travis, the manager, who assured me that my car would be thoroughly detailed as a gesture of apology. Unfortunately, this promise turned out to be yet another disappointment. Not only was my car not adequately cleaned, but the attempt to clean it resulted in further damage my console was ruined due to the use of improper cleaning agents.I strongly advise anyone considering this repair shop to steer clear. The lack of communication, incomplete repairs, and overall negligence in maintaining a basic level of cleanliness make this establishment entirely unsuitable for anyone seeking quality service.In conclusion, my experience here was beyond terrible, and I am left with a damaged car and a deep sense of frustration. I am taking steps to address these issues and hope that others can be spared from the same ordeal.

....had an rear end accident,AAA insurance recommended Gerber collision...Dan did the estimate,kept me abreast of the status during the repair via text and call on its progress...Finished 4 days earlier than anticipated.Absolutely would recommend Gerber collision to friends and family

I took my truck here for severe bumper damage on the front. They did a great job on repairing the bumper and paint. Only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is communication I had to reach out myself constantly for updates. Overall I would recommend this repair shop if you re the Zephyrhills area.

Made appointment online got confirmation text. Made arrangements to get off work to take in and they did not have appointment down. Said they have problems with the online booking and could not get me in until the following week. I would strongly suggest if you have a known issue with the online booking to remove it as an option!!! So disappointed and would never use them again. If you make a mistake... ok then find a way to still help your customers!!!UPDATE: Response says General Manager Travis had been in contact and addressed my concerns... no one reached out and addressed any concerns...

Took my car here after I had been hit in the rear, and when I had dropped off the car I had told Jess the besides the obvious damage to the bumper my trunk hatch was damaged and raised on the passenger side and even showed her exactly where but when I picked up my car it was obviously ignored and was not repaired. Also when I left the parking lot I realized that my low tire light was on as well.

I took my vehicle here after someone backed into my vehicle. They did a great job on getting the ugly scratches out of my front bumper, and they kept me abreast of the update of my vehicle via text. The receptionist was very nice and it would be a place I'd use again,but I really wouldn't want to see them for this reason.

They did a great job repairing my car. Dan assessed the damaged, provided next steps with the repair and kept us informed of the progress. I also received text providing updates on the status.

My insurance is partnered with them so I took my vehicle here to have it repaired. There was a long list of dishonesty. The guy who gave an estimate said the parts could take about three weeks to get there. The girl name Jess inside says absolutely not. They get there usually by two business days. I m gonna go with the estimate guy was being honest, and she was trying to mislead just so she could get the job. When I dropped off my vehicle, Dan said that they had most of the parts on hand, but some would be arriving the next day . He said that when they open it up, of course they might need other parts. Said worst case scenario it would be done by the following Friday, but gave me an eta of Monday. The app updated me throughout the week that the car was being repaired and on its way to be done Monday. Monday Dan calls says it will be done on wed or thur it s in paint ***he left this on a recorded voicemail that I still have, so he can not refute this****we d rolls around we call for update. Dan says that he never left that voicemail telling me Wednesday or Thursday but I have it recorded in my voicemail, lol. That just goes to show what kind of person he is. Completely dishonest. so I called my insurance company. They called and talked to Jess and they haven t even started on my vehicle they my insurance. Hasn t even began repairs. It s just one lie after another. But the one that just really tops the cake. They charged my insurance for a brand new hood however, I don t know on my hood underneath there is a cardboard area and I ripped it accidentally one day when I was fixing some thing on my car a few months back. And that piece of cardboard is still there, ripped. That tells me with 100% certainty they did not replace my hood.

I took my Ram 3500 dually in for body work. They did a fantastic job. My truck had damage on the passenger rear door and the passenger rear fender area. We also had work done on the bumper from being rear-ended. They did the work pretty quick and the paint was perfect.My truck looks new again and I am so happy about that The bonus is the work is guaranteed and they have shops in so many states, so if I am traveling, I can take it to another location for repair. Try them, you will be glad you did!

Had a great experience here! Car needed some extensive body work and the original estimated time for completion was over 2 weeks. But the great staff finished the work in just 5 business days... and the car looks like new! Fabulous job by Dan and his staff at Gerber. Thanks!

Don't listen to your insurance company if they recommend. When my husband voiced his concerns they where very unpleasant to talk to saying the car was driving able when it wasn't safe! And told my insurance company that we where the ones rude! No sir you just don't like to be put in your place. I'll get my car fixed and I'll tell all my friends to avoid you!

Gerger Collision has been great during the whole process of fixing our vehicle! They were professional and so kind! They made sure to go above and beyond to accommodate any request we had. They did an excellent job on the windshield replacement, paint job, color matching, and finish. You can t even tell that our car had damage from an accident. This place was unpleasant to use. They tried to take advantage of my son. They kept trying to tell him he owed $3000 more than his deductible and then kept saying insurance wasn t going to pay for all his repairs. They tried to keep his truck for weeks after it was done. Finally after we picked it up the door they painted had a chip of paint off on it. I will never ever refer anyone here nor will we ever use them.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

We were in an auto accident and our insurance company sent us to Gerber Zephyrhills for repairs. I heard from family they were great. Well, I haven't even gotten my truck back yet and I am floored at and happy with the communication I have received throughout this entire process. Communication is key for me! I get updates constantly and very consistently. A door was shipped in damaged and they refused it, not accepting anything less than stellar. Jennifer is beyond amazing and very reassuring with the whole process. I am so impressed with them and can only imagine that the work done on my truck will be nothing less than amazing! I will update once my truck is back but I just couldn't wait to give this review until then. I'm so grateful for Gerber!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My car got hit, took it in here to get it fixed up.Decided to leave a review as I was happy with how I was treated and overall it was a good professional experience service was also fast and my car looked and felt brand new when I got it back.At the front desk Jennifer was very professional and politeThey went above and beyond my car went in dirty came back cleaned and polished and I even noticed they fixed little cosmetic things like a broken cup holder in my car, when my rear bumper was the part that got hit, wow!Thank you all at Gerber collisionDon't hesitate to bring your vehicle here!Services: Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim

The insurance company recommended this facility and I should not have listened. I took my 2015 Mitsubishi lancer here and after waiting 42 days for a front bumper cover. The vechile was finally done. They said they had trouble getting the parts because the bumper cover was on back order. After 3 weeks of waiting for the part. I as a customer had to do their job and call a dealership to get the part. Which came in within 3 days. 1 day after having the car seeing it in the daylight. I see a lot of imperfection in the paint job.I notified GM Leo and Writer Danny via email and phone call. Neither return my phone call nor email. This business is very unprofessional and customer service is not their strong point. The bodyshop was supposed to fix the other claim that was messed up by another bodyshop that the insurance company recommended, and Danny advised me that he looked over the concern and told me that the hood needed to repainted that buffing and wet sanding is not possible, as it will burn the paint. Later in the day Danny spoke to the insurance writer and lied and siad that there is nothing the bodyshop could do for the car. Adress the issue with the general manager Leo on a one on one conversation about Danny and they level of service that was performed on my vechile and he seem to not care and said that Danny need coaching. Are you serious? This is worst experience I ever had with a bodyshop with the level of customer service. This place just is not reliable. Not reliable on call backs, and not reliable on repairs. I would never recommend them.Service: Painting

I was kept informed of the progress and the work was so much better than the collision shop associated with the dealership! My car was like new and the service good not have been better. Rae and Allen were wonderful to work with in every aspect! If I have to have work done again, they'll be doing it!!

Gerber Collision treated me like a person, kept me informed as my vehicle was being repaired, and they were courteous and friendly through all of my questions and phone calls as to status. Having an accident is stressful enough - being without your car for two weeks is even worse....the last thing people need is to be treated like a second class citizen, as many do. All people really want in this world is to know someone cares, and to have communication. Debbie and Jeff were great - I've been to other local body places - they rank at the top of my list and I will recommend them to everyone. They even detailed the inside of my car. I was shocked. The insurance company recommended this facility and I should not have listened. I took my 92 year-old Dad's vehicle here and after waiting four months it was finally done. They said they had trouble getting the parts because the vehicle was so new. After they got the parts they delayed another week because they said the trim kits they were sent were two lefts instead of a left and right. Then they delayed another week because another pair of parts were two lefts instead of a left and right. Wouldn't you think they would have checked all the parts when the first set was wrong??? Now, we have noticed that the rear door will not open when the front door is closed so it has to go back again. That was on Monday. We were told we would be called that day to let us know when it would be ready. Finally, today, Thursday, I called them. This place just is not reliable. Not reliable on call backs, and not reliable on repairs. I would never recommend them.

My insurance recommended this shop to me. Big mistake. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I have had to call the insurance company to call them to get answers because they always say the person I need to speak to is not in Which is not true. I will be calling there corporatice tomorrow to see if I can get this resolved. Don't take your car here.Service: Painting

Awful repair!!! or I shouldn t even call it a repair. 30% of the damages were completed and were repaired poorly. They were unable to match my paint due "their guy not being focused" which caused my paint to be uneven with swirls in it. I was written an IOU for damage because the piece was back-ordered, never called back about it. The car had minor damage from a lock out company and I was quoted 4-6 days of repair time when they actually had it 18 days to be exact on a job with parts that cost less than 50 bucks. Phone calls were hardly returned, I would call almost every day until eventually I just showed up to get resolution. Conveniently both managers were busy. David Lazlo and his father Steve have horrible customer service skills and are very rude and condescending. Another employee insisted that the swirls would come off by getting it detailed then offered to have it done for free because I was "pretty." Are you kidding me? Not only were the damages not repaired in its entirety, they damaged by spoiler which they told me was removed and put back on, (the damage to my car was on the front doors), so why or how did that even happen because the damage is noticeable? Complaint has been filed with the better business bureau and with USAA. Do NOT bring your car here.

Gerber fixed my car, washed it, and had me on my way in less than 30 minutes. My entire experience was positive and everyone was friendly. It is obvious they care about their customers and have experience with handling insurance companies! Thanks Gerber!
