Addison did a great job getting my vehicle repaired. Professional communication and explained repairs needed. Rebuild was done in a timely manner and again treated me with respect. I ve been in the automotive business 40 + years and this shops managers and techs are pros. Leaving the dealership and my future repairs and services will be done at this shop

We were headed South on vacation when our transmission went out. While it wasn't convenient and completely changed our plans, the service at Aamco was great! They understood our frustration and treated us like people!! Addison was thoughtful and really helped us through everything!! 100% Recommend the team at this location!!!

AMAZING. I was recommended this place by the first body shop I went to when they couldn't fix my transmission. As like many people, I had a lot of anxiety wondering what the outcome was etc. Addison made the process simple and easy. He was very detailed in his ability to explain the problems that were happening and was very open to telling me what to expect. Many kudos to him and the team at AAMCO in Zephyrhills. Highly recommend this place for any transmission issues one might have with their vehicle.

Took my 2016 F150 in and so far couldn t be happier with the customer service from Addison. I m big on honesty and they didn t disappoint. It s tough finding places that don t want to take advantage of people. I told Addison that and his response was great. He said that s why my parking lot is full. He needs a bigger parking lot!!!! GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!

I called them this morning and explained my situation they told me to bring it by they took a look at fixed my problem. I would highly recommend this place very professional. I asked if I needed my transmission flashed somewhere else they would have jumped all over it but they said no need thank you guys!!! I appreciate the honesty

Excellent service and quality work done on my Silverado. Highly recommend for transmission service or repairs. Addison was my assigned tech and he was very professional, and never once tried to upsell me anything I didn't need work done. Thanks guys.

I am not usually a complainer or like to give bad reviews but It is very unfortunate that AAMCO could not replace my transmission correctly where I received a check engine light the following day . Next, when I took my care back to AAMCO, they cleared the code and made me buy a gas tank cap from dealer spending over 80 USD because they said the problem was not related to the work they performed on my car. Unfortunately, the check engine light came back the following day again and when I took the car back to them they kept the car for several days where at the end they said they did not find an evaporator leak. Once again, the engine light when on again, this time I took my car to another mechanic for a second opinion, he found the problem in less than 30 minutes where upon changing the the transmission, the AAMCO mechanic butchered the evaporative line causing to get a check engine light. Finally, I informed this to Adison from AAMCO and texted him pictures showing this. Next, I asked for a 400 USD credit that would cost me to fix the problem, he said no, instead he wanted to take my car back to them, that was their only solution so this became an issue of trust. How do I know if they could fix the problem at all when they had the care several times ?. I am very disappointed and frustrated of all the times I had to deal with this when it should have been taken care the first time around. Do not recommend AAMCO for transmission change, very poor customer service, not recommending them to anyone and never coming back to them again.Service: Transmission

It was unfortunate that I took my Rav4 to Addison at Aamco. I took it for transmission problem but instead fix my brakes for 780. He said my transmission was perfect. After brake repairs he then tells me transmission will need to be rebuilt. I wasnt ready for brake repair but he did not care . Now I am stuck with bad transmission and good brakes. Can't drive car because he could not diagnos properly. I will never take my car there because they did me wrong .Service: Brakes

I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for experience, knowledge and assistance on their vehicles. I spoke and met with Addison who was a great help. He discussed the options I had to address the transmission issues with my car. He was honest, respectful, helpful and knowledgeable about what needed to be done to repair my car. Had some really serious issues with our truck and called AAMCO and spoke with Addison. We left it with them. After diagnosing our vehicle, Addison fully described (with the parts in hand) what was wrong with our truck. We decided to go with them after seeing their online reviews. We were not disappointed in the service and friendless.I returned after I caused an issue with my truck. He explained what to avoid for the future and I haven t had the same issue since.We have another truck that is old and had another mechanic work on it. Since receiving great service on our other truck, we decided to go back to AAMCO. They took care of the issues and pointed out an issue the truck had. That was a repair by another mechanic. We took it back to the last mechanic and they repaired the part. I feel if AAMCO had not pointed it out, it could have caused damage and we would have been out alot of money. My husband and I appreciate the business and honesty and the great work they did on the repairs to our vehicles. Super happy with our work and glad to find an honest and reliable place to have brought our vehicles to. Would def recommend them to anyone!Services: Transmission, Oil change

On July 4 my wonderfully built (not) Ford Escape decided not to move forward. I work near the Aamco and always see that they have consistent business. I contacted the shop the next day. I spoke to Addison who was very professional. He asked me a few questions. Addison explained the problem was very common to my type vehicle. He asked where the car was an told me he would send a Tow Truck. Addison told me they would diagnose the car the next day at no cost and get back to me. As promised Addison contacted me the next day. I happened to be less than 5 minutes from their shop at that time. I told him I would stop by. When Addison originally told me it was a common problem to my type car I thought he was just trying to make me feel better:):). When I arrived I saw 3 other Escapes in their lot with transmission problems. Addison explained to me exactly what was wrong. When I was told the price of the rebuild I must admit I was shocked. But Addison was able to find financing with a no interest program for one year. I also needed brakes which since they were already working on the car he was able to do. And was able to save me on the price that I was quoted from other shops. He was up front and said it would take about 3 weeks. Picked up my car on the 19th. Addison kept in touch frequently advising me of the progress of the work. What a difference in driving the car now. I feel confident the car will now give me several more years of use. Thank you Addison and your staff. Keep up the good work.

First let me be completely upfront right now, I ve probably left 3 reviews my entire life but here goes review number 4. I called this location and told Addison what was going on with my vehicle. Addison, was so cool and attentive as I discussed (probably in an agitated state) what the heck was going on with my vehicle. I had been getting the run around from the dealership (yeah the dealership, imagine that) However, Addison called me the SAME day to tell me my vehicle was ready and guess what? The price was waaaaaaay less than what I had been paying AT THE DEALERSHIP. So I say all that to say this . Who needs honest and awesome mechanics working on their vehicle that will give you a fair price? (I m am not a paid whatever, I m just a customer that saved some money and I thought I d do my part and share.) Very nice place. I took my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe in, because it was stuck in 3rd gear.Addison was very friendly and helpful. Checked the codes on my car, and said it most likey would be an easy fix, but he wanted to run some tests to make absolutely sure that's all it was. If so, it wouldn't cost that much, about $230.

Took my wheelchair accessible Town and Country here for a second opinion after the Chrysler dealership wanted almost $8,000 to fix a problem they couldn't even hear. Addison is unbelievable and after inspection told me there was nothing wrong with my van and didn't charge for the inspection. He saved me so much money and gave me peace of mind. I will definitely be back for future auto needs.

Today is 7/17/23 and I just picked up my 2013 Hyundai Elantra from this shop . I am so very happy that all went well and my car is running smoothly . My transmission linkage has been repaired and on my steering. which was shaky is now perfect. . Addison Wood and his team performed professionally. and I would highly reccomend this Aamco franchise to work on anyone's vehicle. They are an asset to our community . //They treat you well but I can't give a real review yet because my car just went there today .

after replacing front brakes and rear wheel bearings and hubs , van developed a grinding noise. returned to get it diagnosed and was told it was apx $5900 to replace transmission. Come to find out the noise was from the front wheel as lug nuts were never tightened down. Had to get new front hub assembly as the studs are now stripped and inside front wheel has been shaved down. Can't tell if colossally incompetent tech who worked on it or trying to massively rip me off with almost $6000 in repairs in hopes of "fixing" noise. While on vacation, flat towing my car, behind my motorhome, I was told smoke was coming out from under the car's engine hood. Emergency road service took the car to a safe place to be serviced. This was 350 miles from home. I was told the transmission needed to be replaced. I brought the car back home on a trailer and took it to Aamco. Addison checked the car for me and he said nothing was wrong with the transmission and no leaks were detected.I flat towed the car again for a test run. Unfortunately, I had the same issue, smoking and fluid everwhere. I brought it back to Addison. He too was confused as to the problem. He was determined to find the answer! After doing much research and phone calls, he learned that my car had too much transmission fluid in it. (At my last oil change, the transmission fluid was topped off - by another shop.)While flat towing - this particular car and year - the transmission fluid has to be at a certain level.I am relieved that it is not a mechanical issue, just basic human error. Huge lesson learned.Addison went above and beyond to resolve my issue with my car. I can now go back on the road again!!Thank you Addison and Aamco.Service: Transmission

Dropping/picking up the car was easy. Customer service good. They found about 7 codes and wanted $400 for a diagnostic. I took my car for a second opinion at Mazda of Wesley chapel and they only found one code. Free diagnostic.

Spent $4,000 for a trans rebuild. I get the car back making a loud tick sound about every second and 1/2. I tell the guy that went over everything with me and he says he doesn t know. He said it couldn t have been them cause transmissions don t make that noise. So I won t trust them ever again. Otherwise the car does run better but that damn noise drives me crazy. And I can t afford to spend more money going somewhere else to get it fixed properly after spending 4 grand.

Addison is the GREATEST.... we are new to FL and the transmission in the truck went out. We brought it to Addison and his crew and they immediately got to work on it . Addison offered us different payment options. One week later we have the truck back and it is doing great . Thank you so much for all you and your crew did for us . I cannot say enough about this Aamco Store, as they are extremely competent and professional. They have correctly diagnosed every issue for all my automobiles every time and I never have had to come back because the issue was not corrected. Mark, the Owner runs a tight operation and demands and delivers excellence. Addison and all the Super Techs are amazing. They are very helpful and always discuss the findings and solution in easy to follow explanatory language. They are my go to Mechanics and I highly recommend them for all your service needs. They will work with your extended warranty entities which is a great service. If you need a courtesy vehicle or a ride to your home or job they have options for that. Take your ailing vehicle here and you will be amazed at the quality of service you will receive! Double-A-BEEP-BEEP-M-C-O . For those of you who remember the 1960 s commercials!
