A super convenient tire shop with FREE AIR 24/7. We had a slowly leaking tire - even though this is a small low price job, Sam and his team treated us like our business meant the world to them and got it quickly resolved.While waiting for the work to be done, I saw their public air pump and noticed it was marked free air. I confirmed with the staff that it operates 24/7. In this day of $2 gas station air fills, this is a welcome sight!

The team is knowledgeable and helpful. I took my vehicle in after purchase to ensure everything was running well and what needed work since it is a used car. Marina fit us right in and the team worked quickly letting me know what was needed to be done on it. Marina was able to explain to me what each thing meant and next steps to correct the problem. I know nothing about cars, having them explain it all to me to a point I can understand is a huge plus for me. I had a really good impression of the team and their abilities to take care of our needs.

After the manager bragged about his 5 star review, I ordered $633 in tires and asked for a 1 o'clock appt. the next day. They only had 3 tires and their delivery site was down. He said he would call within 20 minutes. He never called. The next day a different manager called at 1:38 to see if I was coming for my 1 o'clock k appt. I was never informed so no, you lose a $633 sale. I got better tires at Goodyear for less!

Website makes it easy to choose and buy tires and schedule installation. This particular shop is small but clean and well-run. They got the car in on time, did a pre-install brake and suspension inspection, and got me back on the road. No complaintsFYI: Mavis/Tire Kingdom/Tuffy offer free lifetime tire rotation with purchase. Flat repair is free or $25. They also have free air available at all locations

Sam and Aaron are the best when it comes to customer service! They were on the ball from the time I called, after a horrible flat, until the time I left with new tires. They not only offered me a ride to the ER after I received a call that my mom was being rushed to the hospital, which I turned down, but then had two technicians work on my car so I could get going quickly. All work was done professionally and quickly. This location really knows how things should be done. Definitely great customer service!!

Had an appointment for a tire rotation and alignment originally until I blew a tire the day before. Went in at my appointment time and they handled my new situation with two new tires amazing discounts, professionalism and efficiency. I found my new spot for any car related issues. Highly recommend Thanks fellas

Was hesitant to call this place due to a bad experienced several years back. After making the call, I was made aware the place was under new management. So glad I made the call. Marina (manager) was so helpful with putting any concerns at ease. It was obvious the place has been updated. They were able to take my vehicle right in. The bays were in order and clean. The staff were super courteous and informative. They took care of my vehicle issue and did a full inspection. Grateful to have trustworthy car care center. Definatley recommend.

Absolutely great service. I am now a repeat customer. I returned after the fast service the first time. I ll come back again because of the consistent hospitality. Sam was great and got my tired fixed very quickly. It had a small hole that a different auto store could not find after spending much more time there. Tuffy s Palm Harbor was able to fix it ASAP! Thank you so much!!

The employees are polite and knowledgeable and were very fast. Even without making an appointment ans close to closing time. Still got me in out in less than 10 minutes. Marina was very helpful with all the road work going on and getting me in and out fast

Today was my first time having my car serviced at this location and I plan to return due to the quick service as well as Marina s high quality service! Marina was vey kind from the moment I walked in and she was consistent with every customer that she interacted with. She is very knowledgable, thorough, and honest, which makes it apparent that she is not only efficient at what she does, but she is also very passionate about her job! As a customer that typically feels like just a number and often rushed through the process of getting my car serviced, I truly appreciated Marina s friendliness and professional demeanor. I felt like I was more than just a number and more so a customer that she wanted to ensure I was pleased with their shop s service. I must say that it is always wonderful to see women emerging in the automotive industry as it truly makes a difference to the overall experience for female customers that go to mechanic shops. This was my first time trying Tuffy. I went based on the great reviews and they were well deserved. They did not charge me for a tire repair that wasn't needed. I appreciate the integrity.Sam and Carlos were friendly and helpful, and I was back on the road in no time. I highly recommend.

I was on my way to pick-up my grandson after school in Tampa when I heard a thumping sound coming from a tire. When I went back home and checked the tires, the right rear passanger tire was punctured by a piece of metal. I Googled tire repair in Tarpon and found Tuffy repair not far from my home. So I called their dispatch and drove there within 15 minutes of making the call. As I pulled into their shop, my right rear tire went flat. Aaron, the manager, quickly checked me in. Carlos, the mechanic, repaired my tire shorthly after arriving. The entire process was a breeze! Their customer service and expertise was refreshing. They were friendly and genuine, have earned my trust and I will not hesitate to take my car there again when needed. Without a doubt, Aaron and Carlos earned a 5 star rating and I highly recommend their service! Ed

I ran over a screw about a mile from this shop and was losing air quickly. They had me in and out in 30 minutes and my tire is good as new. Such great service! Thank you, Sam!

Best place to get your car serviced in the area! I urgently called all around and no one could fit me in to service my tires that were loosing air quick! Sam and Eric got me right in no questions and took full care of me and my vehicle, making me feel like I was part of the family! Will be going here from now on for all my vehicle services!

Marina has gone over and above to assist me. I'm in town for a family matter to wake up a discover I was having tire issues. In a panic I pull into Mavis and there she was waiting and willing to assist me in my time of panic!! She was kind, patient and humble!! This really helped calm me down. Discovered a screw in one of the tires, stopped by Tuffy to see if they could take care of it. They were very accomodating, took the car in and fixed it right away. I would recommend Tuffy as a very good place to have service.

Tuffy/Mavis Misdiagnosis! On 12/15/23 my Kia Sorento would not start. Two rounds of roadside assistance, one to check battery (which tested fine, only 2 years old) and one to tow, told me that all of their checks indicate that my starter failed. This was also confirmed by a good friend who was previously an auto mechanic. I had my car towed to Tuffy/Mavis @ 40200 US Hwy 19 in Tarpon Springs, FL. The next morning, Tuffy/Mavis called and informed me I need a new alternator & serpentine belt costing $760 + tax. This made no sense to me since the battery s charge tested normal, even after numerous start attempts and 2 hours of radio usage. I consulted with my mechanic friend and we called back to speak with the manager and after several key questions by my friend, the manager looked further into the previous diagnosis. They called back to inform me they had initially misdiagnosed the problem, and it was actually the starter that needed to be replaced for $465 + tax.Imagine if I had not questioned the original diagnosis with someone who knows cars?!?! I would have paid $813 for unnecessary repairs and I still would have needed a new starter @ $493 ($1306 total).I will not return to Tuffy/Mavis! If you go there, double-check their diagnosis .

Called in just before closing to fix a flat tire. Sam said come in I ll take you asap. I did just that. Speedy service, friendly staff. Quality service and clean waiting room. I will be back for other services.

Great shop they changed my brakes and very affordable. Clean and fast. I will mention they have free air outside incase after hours you can add air if needed. Nice touch and very customer service oriented.
