The most polite word I can think of to describe the pushy people who work at Westshore is shady. Not only do you get roped into paying extra for their self proclaimed amazing "Westshore Advantage" (which mind you, doesn't cover very much and is overpriced and MANDATORY), but expect to camp out there for a full day for any service you need done, including oil changes. Twice now, we have been there for a full 8 hours waiting for service to be finished, both times having made a prior appointment. The last time we were there, with our 2 young children, we sat there ALL DAY with no vehicles and no food. While we were there, I was talked into test driving a brand new car under the guise that my new payment would be equal to my current monthly payment. While I was skeptical, I went on a test drive anyway being promised they had some great incentives at the time. The salesperson had me drive almost to Clearwater and held me hostage for a full hour on this test drive, only to inform me upon returning that my monthly payment would be more than double what I'm currently paying. When I refused, they then showed me a used car that had absolutely no upgraded features from my current vehicle and tried to talk me into the headache of trading mine in for no upgrade what-so-ever. And this time, my husband was there for 8 full hours waiting on an A/C repair that should have been covered under warranty. Key word is should because when he got there, they tried to make him sign a printed form stating the diagnostic fee would be $89 and the service tech handwrote a 1 in front of the 89. So now a $189 fee (if their fee is different than the amount listed, they need to create a new form because changing the amount to a higher one by hand is shady as heck). My husband refused and told then to just do the repair covered by warranty. They then told him that some hoses in the A/C system were degraded also and would cost over $800 to be repaired. Again, my husband refused after the headache they'd already caused. We would rather get a second opinion or just take our business elsewhere after all of the nonsense they've pulled. WELL, when he told them he didn't want the hoses replaced, the service tech insinuated to my husband that they would not return the keys to him unless he signed a form stating refusal of service because a known refrigerant leak was bad for the environment and illegal. THESE SHADY JERKS TRIED TO HOLD MY CAR HOSTAGE. We have contacted Honda corporate. This is unacceptable. We purchased 2 vehicles from them and have had nothing but problems ever since. I would not recommend Westshore Honda to anyone and would never purchase another vehicle from them.And their popcorn was burnt.

Went in for our first a service with our 23 Honda Civic hatchback sport. I was service advisor was Tony he was fantastic. He got me in and out of there within two hours of a complete a service.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I took both of my cars to get an oil change, I had to wait almost 3 hours each time I went, despite having an appointment. That s something I don t understand, if you re making people have appointments to be attended, then you should attend them by the time their appointment is. The main issue here is that BOTH of my cars have had issues within a month of getting an oil change. My Honda HRV was missing 4 screws from the splash shield, which caused it to eventually drag. Not a big issue, my husband was able to buy the screws and fix it. However, 2021 Toyota Corolla, which was purchased from this dealership is another issue. Upon arriving to my appointment, the first thing out of the technician s mouth is we don t have oil or an oil filter for this car, after I mentioned that I purchased the car from there he said oh ok it s not a problem. Well a month later, my Corolla ended up leaking ALL the oil it had on my garage floor. We had a mechanic come out and he told us the filter wasn t changed and was left loose and the oil didn t look like it had been changed only a month ago. Mind you, we work from home and really don t drive long distances nor add excessive miles. I WILL NEVER take my car here again and I really suggest that you don t either. You can tell they re cutting corners. There was a man who was also getting an oil change when I took my Toyota, and he was speaking to a manager because he said his oil was never changed. I called to speak to a manager, was supposed to get a call back which never happened. They really need to do better especially with the prices they re charging.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Got an oil change this morning (used a coupon for full synthetic) and was out the door in one hour!Thank you for the prompt service this morning! I had to get to another appointment.Also appreciate Tony pointing out a few recommended services (brake and transmission flush), but knowing I was in a hurry said to think about it for the next service.

***Please read to the end***So I had a 12:45 oil change appointment with a 50% off coupon, so it only cost me $45. My service rep was good. He was friendly as he should be. That was where the good part kinda ended. About 20, 25 minutes after I got there, I got a text saying hey track your service progress. I waited a little while tapped the link, and it didn't have any info.. I went to my service rep, he checked the computer and it didn't have any progress either. He went into the shop and came back and told me it would be about 2:45, so 2 hrs for an oil change. Not quick but they never are at a dealership, so that was expected after all they do that detailed inspection, and that takes time right. IMy service rep comes and tells me my car will be out in a minute. I went out waited maybe another 10 minutes or so and it was time to pay. I told the adv8ser I was surprised he didn't have a long list of th8ngs. He sa8d it's just the usual stuff. Filters engine and cabin, I guess they were really, really bad because they checked the red boxes for the filters, so I told him that's strange since I had changed both of them yesterday so other than a fingerprint on one they are brand new and the spark plugs only have about 19k miles on then so they don't need to be changed either but hey at least the service rep was nice and they had coffee.

Last year end of March i purchased a 2017 Honda Acoord hybrid cash. Now i have brought it to Westshore Honda several times because the senors keepg coming on the dashboard,. Battery was replaced because it was covered under the 5yr battery warranty. Sensor lights keep coming on i went to drop it off today so they can check it all of a sudden warranty doesnt cover that and all of sudden i am getting blamed that i hit something because the radar is messed up and my bumper is messed up. I attached a photo showing that my bumper is completely fine, i DID NOT HIT ANYTHING. Very very disappointed. When purchasing the vehicle we also purchased the warranty and we were told that it covers EVERYTHING! Engine, electrical issues now all of a sudden my warranty only covers any engine issues.

Don t recommend leasing from this location, they will literally harass you to turn your lease in early and get a new car with them. They would call, email, and mail multiple times a week asking what I plan on doing with my lease. Even AFTER turning in my lease early (I didn t buy or lease another car from them) they re still calling multiple times a week asking what are my plans with the car I NO LONGER HAVE! It s literally in their possession and they re still calling me about it.

While typical visits are less than hour, my most recent one was over 3hrs, with a lot of service recommendations I didn t anticipate. Although this was stressful for me, Donald Seufzer helped me make decisions about the priority services to have done at the time. He patiently explained the recommendations, and was courteous throughout the very long wait time. The overall experience wasn t ideal, but Don provided customer service that was friendly and informative, which made a frustrating situation much easier to manage. Thank you Don!

Elijah Cherry assisted me today when taking my vehicle in for an oil change. He was very kind and helpful! It was extremely busy and he kept a smile on his face the whole time, sometimes that s all it takes to brighten a boring task such as bringing your car in for an oil change - staying kind and genuine!Thank you Elijah!

I called to make an appointment.First call was answered and immediately they hung up.Second call they answered the women answered and was very short and placed me on hold for 20 minutes. Then without giving me the time of day, they hung up.Couldn't reach them a third time. Not wasting my time with them again.I understand these services can be very busy. But say something regarding the inability to take a call or dont answer at all..

They are normally good, but my last visit left a sour taste. I dropped my car off for an oil change and only to pick it up with my keys fob taped together with scotch tape. Thought it was just to stabilize it, only to realized later that the key fob was completely broken. I have been waiting for more than a week to hear back from someone who was going to talk to the manager.

Bad customer service and slow work. Had an appointment for 9:00 a.m. for an oil change. 2 1/2 hours and still waiting. Do not have your vehicle serviced here!

Every time I come to the Westshore Honda Service Center, regardless of the issue, Mike Gilespie and Ed Johnson have ALWAYS taken care of me, and have provided a level of customer service that rivals just about anywhere else I have been. I recommend the both of them to anyone who needs work done on their car. Thank you guys for being awesome.

Great service and they don't try to sell you services you don't need which is VERY refreshing!Their waiting area is clean with plenty of comfortable seats. They offer free coffee, tea and hot chocolate while you wait and also snacks for sale.
