Honest, great work and great value! Joel helped us with a great deal on an SUV. Even threw in new back brakes. Les is also a very funny guy. Whole experience was the opposite of every other dealership I've ever encountered. Thanks guys!

By far the best mechanic I have ever been to. They are trustworthy and are full of integrity which is sometimes hard to find in mechanics. They have proven themselves over and over and over again to me. I am the kind of person who never writes reviews for things but they have earned one by the exceptional service and integrity they have shown over an extended period of time.

I bought a car with Joel and it was the best car buy-ing experience that I have had . Very professional and honest. He didn't try to over charge or over sell me. I am a single mom and on a budget and he worked a fair deal with me. He was quick and efficient. I won't ever go anywhere else.

The most caring mechanic in town, bar none. I've been going to this place for nearly 10 years and I recommend them to everyone I know. You won't be nickle-and-dimed, you won't get fees you weren't expecting, and everything is explained to you plainly and friendly without gimmicks or tricks. Heck, they're even just nice to talk to on the phone!One of the few small businesses that still truly offers service with a smile. :)

Terrific experience. Truly do a wonderful job taking care of customers. On my first visit on 10/1/16, I brought in a 10 year old car I was thinking of buying to see if there were major issues or concerns. Quickly, they gathered some information - within 10 minutes, they had the car up on the rack. Once they reviewed the car in depth, we were given a very complete "tour" of potential trouble spots - and what they might mean, as well as the positive technical points, and what they meant. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and completed a very thorough evaluation of the car in very reasonable time. I learned two things on 10/1: (1) whether to purchase the used car, and (2) that this is an excellent car service place I would both return to and recommend. Superb!

Our truck broke down while spending last Saturday in Tampa. They helped us immediately for a great price. They really seem to care about getting you back into a working vehicle. We had a great experience with them.

This was a while back, but when other mechanics told me I'd likely have to get a new engine to fix my lease, they were able to repair my issue for about $100. The owner also was talking to me about science stuff during another repair. And a third time they delayed a part order as they thought I could save money by ordering the part myself, so they're clearly not just in it to milk money from their customers. They also offered me a free ride back home while I waited on a repair. Definitely my go-to local business mechanic.

Truly the best and most honest mechanics I have ever come across. They will do anything to accommodate and have extremely fair pricing. What really distinguishes these guys is their honesty and dedication to doing a good job. They diagnosed and fixed my scion xb just one day. I would recommend them to anyone.

See a lot of great reviews but maybe staff has changed lately. I took my car in and paid for the secondary service which should have included oil change and filter change along with all fluids checked as well as tire pressure. Got my car back and some tires were still low, a day or two later all the lights were checked on (check engine, coolant, brake fluid) and when double checked were near empty, meaning they didn't actually do the job. Don't plan on bringing my vehicle back here ever again.

Got nothing but respect for "honesty." These guys were honest enough to tell me that they weren't 100% comfortable with repairing my leaking condenser on my 2008 Lexus LS460, so they topped me off with freon and referred me to a mechanic that specializes in Lexus, that's not the dealer, and they didn't even charge me for it. All I have to say is WOW! That's pretty impressive. Honesty goes a long way in my book when dealing with car repairs. Thanks.

Take your car here!! I recently moved to Denver from Tampa and I miss this place so much because they're super honest and I felt very valued as a customer. I called Automotive Center Temple Terrace today to get a second opinion on a $2500 repair quote I got from a shop in Denver and they were so helpful and walked me through the necessity of the repair and gave me great recommendations (and it was a Friday so I'm sure they were busy). I hope to find a shop as great as this one in my new area!

So yesterday I tried to start my car and it was barely able to turn over and start, Once it started I drove to Advanced Automotive Parts because it was after work/5pm and they were still open, I had them test my battery and alternator - - They showed me the machine they used and said it was the alternator. The guy seemed somewhat unsure - because sometimes their tester does not reveal everything...Anyway, I purchased the part just in case and was going to have The Automotive Center of Temple Terrace replace the part - I took my car down there the next morning at 7AM, they were able to take a look at it then and diagnose that it was a BATTERY issue and not the Alternator, They changed out the battery fast and at a very good price. I go there for other things like oil changes also - -Great Family owned shop, Professional, and HONEST - - Having a good mechanic is important ---Glad I found them.Andrew BarkerService: Battery

This is the most professional and fair automotive establishment I have ever dealt with.They were able to fix a very complicated air conditioning mess in a hurry and explained every step along the way. Dealing with Eddie was a pleasure.The experience was nothing but positive from the ride they gave me to work to the easy check out experience.Automotive Center has a new customer for life!!!!

Had an issue with my driver's side window which presented a challenge. I was impressed by Eddy and his staff, they stood behind their work and did the best to resolve it as fast as practical. The level of customer service was of the highest quality and I would recommend this shop without reservation.

My car broke down on a Sunday with a shyft linkage broke. I have the car tow to their shop. Firstly! the guy gave me a speech we are honest and transparent. Monday, they never checked the car on Tuesday finally told me what I already knew and trying to charge me $450 for a shift linkage that was wrong, after I complained the honest and transparent guy told me can take the car somewhere else he knew I can't drove the car anywhere wrong again, they removed $127 in charge $333 for a job that of cost me $220 - - 250. They gave me the black charge, above market rate and took 3 days to replace shifting linkage and gave me the car back with engine light on.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I brought my car in today because of an oil leak. I went to this place because I've been to many auto repair places in Tampa and have had quite a few bad experiences and surprises regarding the amount I had to pay for the repair. As a woman I often feel like I am being overcharged because I do not know enough about cars. They checked my car immediately without asking for a diagnostic fee. Every place I've been to in Tampa other than this place has charged me anywhere from 30 to 70 dollars just to tell me what is wrong with my car. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs their car repaired. They did a great job and were very friendly. The cost of the repair was a lot cheaper than I had expected.

I had a problem with my car battery. Took it in and the manager resolved the issue Very Fast. I have been taking my car there for years. They have a great team and it is the same people in mgmt, unlike a lot of these other corporate repair shops. They are honest and have fair prices on their work. I even bought a car ,2006 nissan Sentra, for my daughter from them years ago, and still have it. Great Repair shop and more..Thanks , Drew Barker,,1/2/2017

Very unprofessional!! I called for a simple estimate and was treated as if I didn't have any money to pay. I don't know how the person on the other end got that from my general questions but I felt mistreated. This is not the first place that I called in reference to this service however this will be my LAST TIME calling them for ANYTHING. When a customer ask for a price saying "very expensive" is NOT the answer we as customers are looking for. FIND SOME PROFESSIONALISM!!

I don t know about the auto shop side of this business but the used car lot side of this business is a joke. Joel (the owner) is a typical used car salesman. He will rig something and make it work for the time being and after time it will break. We bought a car from him and the same day the brakes almost went out and the key got stuck in the ignition in the off position then got stuck in the on position. I would rather walk everywhere than buy a used car from this business. I called the owner and he said there is nothing I can do for you. If you like getting screwed over this is the place for you.

These guys seem really honest and they will make you laugh while you're waiting for your car. I'm serious, they are natural born comedians. Their prices are really reasonable and they won't try to add on any unnecessary work. They also get jobs done in a timely manner.

Old school original's still running the place! You will NOT get ripped off here! Welcoming to the female population & they don't talk down to you either. Will also provide a ride to work, if your car is being serviced.

Honest, fair, and what a "hometown" auto shop should be. I'm a "DIY" customer of ACTT. I can rely that their advice is going to be accurate. If I can fix it myself, they'll tell me. If I can't, I know they will fix it in a timely fashion with high quality work.

My car was making noises on the way to work, they were busy but they made time for me anyway! Told me the problem at no cost and how to fix it and I was on my way. I am so thankful for these guys. I will defiantly be going again if I have car trouble! A plus plus!

Good service, no hassles or unexpected costs, definitely recommended. Fixed my car's AC for a third of what the dealerships wanted.
