Fantastic! I pulled up to ProStar with a check engine light on my 2012 BMW 335is and Alberto said, pop the hood . He knew right away what the problem was based just on my description of no acceleration. They ordered the parts that day and it was fixed early the next morning! The car runs like new again. Theresa in the front office went the extra mile knowing I only had a couple of days left in Tampa. They also gave a veteran s discount. If you want a straight forward repair shop that treats customers like old friends, then make ProStar your first choice!

ProStar has been taking care of our family for several years now. Exceptional quality of work and customer service. On a few occasions, we needed to get our BMW s back in service on the same day and ProStar made it happen. Highly recommend ProStar!

I dropped my vehicle 1983 628 CSI back in December 2022 for an electrician alarm locking issue. Though I have taken my vehicle to Prostar back 2005 ( Ed ) the owner was very responsive and attentive to customer service. However, since has added an office manager ( a family member) customer service was not great from my perspective.I have no issues with hiring family members for business; however, I do have concerns with poor customer service. Moreover, when a customer asks (3/4) times to speak with Ed ( the owner) and never receives a phone call back that s HORRIBLE customer service. As far as the mechanics ( Jeff ) my mechanic eventually completed the job; however, communicating could have been much better.My final analysis, the ENTIRE team needs a course on customer service and interacting more effectively with their client baseDr. Eric HollisServices: Auto A/C recharge, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Oil change

Spring of 2022 I took my daughters 2001 BMW 530i (119K miles) there for JUST AN OIL CHANGE & FILTER before our ride home to Delaware. There were no check engines lights or other issues with the car. All of the fluids were topped off and tires were at proper inflation because I am on top of the service for this car. They took approximately 1.5 hours to complete the oil change and when all was said and done it cost me $180. I have never paid this much an oil change and filter in all of my life and I have always used quality synthetic oils and name brand filters. The young female working the desk told me that they also cleared my codes and topped off all of my fluids and that is why it cost me $180.00! I will never give them my business again.I will say that the owner was awesome and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to German cars and motorcycles. Great guy to talk to be he left before my car was completed so I didn't get a chance to ask why it was so much. To be fair, I am sure the place does excellent work, the mechanics are top notch and times are tough but that is too much for a simple oil change. I made it home and the car ran fantastic so that is why they got 2 stars and not 1. At least my car didn't break down!Service: Oil change

These guys are amazing. Experts in their field and they really take care of their customers. They have been maintaining my BMW since 2018 and they've done awesome. 100% this shop is the best un the area.

ProStar is the best, faster and better service than the MB service department. Dropped off my car on Friday after 3pm, they were extremely busy yet took my car in and diagnosed it right away and had it repaired by the next business day before 9am. Alberto was extremely helpful and kind, they are super responsive and communicative, we are a MB family and we are ProStar customers for life!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Ed and his wife and the whole crew are the best you will find and you will be so glad you did! Honest, dependable, through, Mercedes Cerified so save your self some money and go see Ed!

First time at ProStar and will definitely be back! I was tired of going to the Mercedes dealership and paying $400-600 for an oil change every time (and they wouldn t even turn off the alert - I would have to go back). As a woman, a lot of mechanics and service guys would talk down to me regarding services. Very annoying. Today, Ed was amazing! He explained every thing needed on the car and even showed me the services next in line on his laptop - I didn t feel belittled or anxious. That s how everyone should feel! He took care of my car in a timely manner (as I waited) and the guys felt like friends! I highly recommend ProStar! Maybe I ll see you there on the next service :)Service: Oil change

They are terrific. It s always hard to find an honest shop. Not only are they honest, but their experience and knowledge about any Mercedes and BMW is unmatched. Have brought several 450SL to them. They know what they are doing and they do it at a timely manner and at well lowered cost than specialty dealerships. Highly recommend speaking with Alberto, the tech there. Very knowledgeable.

This place made me feel truly at home although I didn't get names the receptionist was friendly and explained everything from what's in the area cause I'm not from the area met the owner and one of the workers so friendly and down to earth they did good service on my benz so I'll definitely be back for future services will recommend to anyone This post is from my first visit i brought my car back on 8/7/23 to get service done again they are like family so I don't mind traveling for good service will come back for any future work thank u all for being awesome

I can't say enough about how wonderful Prostar is. Super helpful, honest and a family oriented business for sure. Such a warm welcome They were incredibly professional and very thorough. I feel very confident in their work. They're my go to place for sure... So happy i found them..

My C250 needed service and I honestly didn't know what to expect. You never know whether reviews are authentic or not, but from the time I set foot in this establishment to the time I left, everything and everyone was phenomenal. From the waiting area I could hear the men in the garage talking and laughing, which made for an even better atmosphere and the manager/owner kept up a real conversation which had be comfortable and wanting to stay for a while. Then to top it all off, the price I was charged was actually lower than the estimate...they said "we don't have to overcharge folk to stay in business, we've got plenty of work." I sure know why and I'll certainly be back!!!

Best place in Tampa if you own a BMW. Reeves charges way more & dosent fix the actual problem. I had non stop costly problems with my engine until I brought it here and they fixed it like brand new my car has never ran better! The lady in the office is also super nice as well as the mechanics I haven t had a service light come on ever since they fixed it. Thank you guys so much!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Ed and his staff are exceptional. I've been taking my Mercedes & BMWs to Ed/Pro Star for the past 15yrs and have referred countless friends and family members, who have all been equally impressed. You will not meet a more honest, knowledgeable, and meticulous mechanic that takes pride in, and stands behind his work. Ed and his staff have always gone above and beyond to quickly identify and resolve all of my mechanical issues, big and small. What I appreciate most is that Ed wont just identify and fix the problem but will also explain in detail what the problem was and the work that was done. He is also transparent on the price of parts and beyond fair with what he charges for labor. Put it this way... I moved from Tampa to S Florida six years ago and still make the commute to have Ed service my vehicles. Thanks again Ed & Team! Y'all Rock!

Ed and his service folks have been servicing my Mercedes for the past six years, and Prostar has always been professional and offered the best repairs at the best cost. Ed has never steered me wrong and has also referred me to reputable places when it was something he did not handle at his shop. I give him high marks. I will continue to use his shop and have referred others to him who have had good experiences.

Very knowledgeable professionals. Did not get the service I wanted because I was quoted a price of 2200 for a repair. Brought the vehicle to them and the price jumped to 3,000 dollars. And this was after the vehicle sat for about 21 days and me calling to see if the car was repaired and ready! The only reason I say they are professional is because they didn't try to charge me a diagnostic fee!

My fianc� took my BMW here with a drive train light flashing and the car shaking. They took the time to fix the car the same day which is amazing! I will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you guys! You saved my weekend!

Ed took the time to reset my windowI had someone else replace the regulator and couldn't get it to work properly .Ed hooked it up to his computer and relearned the window switch and then wouldn't take any money !Who does that ?Thanks Ed and the folks at ProstarService: General repairs & maintenance

Hands down the best shop in Tampa for your BMW / Benz needs. The owner Ed is awesome and Jeff aka LECH is the best mechanic ever. The entire shop is professional, courteous and always provides extraordinary customer service. Only shop I trust with my bimmers for years and I don t even reside in Tampa anymore but I do travel to ProStar for my service, tuneup and upgrade with my cars. Trust me, once you go to ProStar, you will never visit another shop. A++

Best shop I've ever taken the car to. Been a few times now for issues with varying complexity.. Might be a small operation, but the mechanics are all extremely friendly, helpful, truthful, up-to-date on any model (of at least) BMWs, (accredited/certified) and don't charge exorbitant fees. Absolutely recommend! Thanks, Ed et al.

My wife and daughter were traveling from Montgomery Alabama when our Mercedes Ml320 started stalling out. They diagnosed the problem and got them back on the road in the time it takes to eat lunch Great people
