It was almost closing time and I didn't realize it when I arrived atOlin Mott Tire Store on E. Hillsborough Ave. Once I realized it was near closing time I turned to walk out of the store.Mr. Darin spoke up....How May I Help You?I replied, I will come back tomorrow since it is near closing time.Mr. Darin said, I can help you.I was touched and I received help.Then a Mr John B. assisted me further.I give them 100 Stars****************************************************************************************************and a God Bless

People from Hillsborough County and everyone else. Do not come to this location or maybe any other location. These people are scammers. I spent 5-600.00 on my truck. On tie rods. Just came from another shop. And they told me it was not the tie rods. So I spend all this money on the wrong part. And they told me nothing after I left. By the way these are new people in that shop.

I recently had a highly unsatisfactory experience with Olin Mott Automotive Services. I brought my vehicle in for what I was told were necessary repairs to the crankshaft sensor and catalytic converter. After four days, I was informed that the work was completed, only to find myself back at square one less than a week later.Upon returning, I was told by Darin, one of their staff members, that the issue could no longer be fixed. This left me perplexed and frustrated, considering the initial diagnosis and supposed repairs. To add to the disappointment, when I inquired about a possible refund due to the persisting problem, I was met with rudeness and a flat-out refusal from Darin despite my vehicle still misfiring after their "supposed fix".This lack of accountability and refusal to address the ongoing problem not only reflects poorly on their professionalism but also leaves me questioning the integrity of their services. I expected better from a reputable automotive service center like Olin Mott. Unfortunately, my experience has left me with unresolved issues and a sense of dissatisfaction.If this issue is not going to be resolved regarding my refund I will be reporting this location to the Better Business Bureau tomorrow!

We had all 6 of our class A RV tires replaced with Michelin275/80R 22.5 5H MSPN 662054/26/21.Karl was awesome, he know RV's.We went through the FMCA tire discount program, they are very familiar with it.We did a lot of mountain climbing last year.Thank you for making this large important purchase go so easy!

These guys fit me in last minute to plug a tire that I had a screw in. They were professional, friendly, and affordable. Kudos to Karl at Olin Mott Tire, he was extremely kind. Visiting a tire store alone as a female he made me feel comfortable and at home.

We just installed some Michelin RV tires and folks here were great. Karl is a master at multitasking (they stay busy), very professional and knows commercial truck tires. He made some very sound recommendations (which we followed) and we got the tires I wanted at a great price. We also had them check the alignment after tire balance and install. It was all done in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place and will bring my future business here.

The worst customer service ever..they don t know how to simple maintenance on work vehicles..the service managers are RUDE they return your vehicle worst that it went in..do your self a favor and GO to a different mechanic shop. They also over charge for repairs SCAMMERS

Quality service has gone down at the hillsborough location since the older staff retired. They didn't rotate and balance my tires when I asked them to. There's now a card fee.

Hands down, best shop in Tampa and surrounding areas. Great customer service and technicians. The manager, Randy took excellent care of everything with no issues... made me feel as if I was family from the moment I walked through the door. The only shop to do so and not try to rip me off at the same time.

These guys are friendly and efficient. Definitely bringing tire needs here. Had a leaky valve stem, ran over during lunch and was in and out. Appreciate you guys, customer service counter dude with glasses is today notch

They were a good place to get your tire changed they change all four tires and balance them and test drove it to make sure it rides smooth all that in 2 hours I recommend anybody that wants there tires fixed go there they also have a mechanic shop so they do it all it's a win win I definitely would go there and I highly recommend them

The Olin Mott Tire Store on East Hillsborough is a good store they changed my sister's four tires in less than 2 hours that's with balancing test driving Plus they were very polite and courteous and the best part is it only cost $975 for four brand new tires plus all the work that's a good deal thank you Olin Mott Tire

These guys were awesome! Karl newby and joe did everything on and as promised on our Motorhome.after 3 years our RV tracks better rides smoother. When you need ties or a front end alignment by all means go there and speak to Karl!

I've been using Olin Mott since 2016. I've had nothing but great experiences. Financially painful sometimes, but fair and reasonable. I mean my vehicle is 16yrs old and almost 200k milage, expensive parts are going to break down. They are attentive and courteous. *2023 update- I have a different vehicle now that has had its first major repair. The parts purchased turned out to be defective, Olin Mott has graciously and consistently fixed the problem on their own dime after my initial repair cost. Now that is customer service!

I always take my car or truck there to change oil, and other repairs. They are always courteous, and efficient with getting work done. I have nothing's but good experiences at Olin Mott, tires were bought there also.

Awsome bunch of people.. Karl has always been great! Joseph did an awsome job for us and he was so tolerant of my jokes and poking fun with him. Great personality. And his partner Adonis was also great!Always happy to see everybody there and they have always done a great job for us!!

Great experience at the Olin Mott on Hillsborough Ave, Tampa. Took in my RV for overall maintenance but what they really took the time to do was help me obtain the best tools and info for making sure I could maintain the correct pressure in my RV tires myself. Very good prices! Thanks, Karl and others.

Recently i inquired here about have some Brake rotors turned and was told they could do them and how much it would cost based on my vehicle description. Dropped the truck off and the next day i received a call from Cody telling me that i would need to replace these rotors because they would be under spec after they would have cut them. I asked how much would they have to cut them. They didn't know. next i asked what is the minimum thickness? again they didn't know. all they could tell me is that they have been doing this for 30 years, they know when there bad. needless to say they were trying to get me for upwards of $700. I refused there bait and switch tactics and decided to perform the work myself. I disassembled the truck and brought the rotors to TWA FIRESTONE. they turned them and had them back to me in a couple of hour. Great people. they ended up only cutting .016 of of them to get them true again. i reassembled and everything is good. it is very disappointing that these people try to take advantage of unsuspecting folks. It is also very surprising since this business has been around for such a long time. there is no way the founders of this company intended for this to be the new normal. LIES AND DECEPTION ARE NOT A SUSTAINABLE TRAIT FOR ANY BUSINESS!

I came in for 4 tires for my RV, I ended up buying 6, I was given a price for the tires, mounting balancing etc. I agreed to the price and after the tires were on and I was ready to leave I was told that the Michelin tried to charge me a higher amount 700.00 more to be exact.Needless to say I was livid, tires were on and I needed to get home to California. I was happy they actually had the tire sizes that I needed but was thoroughly dissatisfied with the end result. If you quote a price to a customer you stick to that price even if you the company lose money period.These tires went on a high end rv and I wasn't even afforded the tires or rims being cleaned before I left which was very lazy as far as I was concerned.They young man that quoted tried to intervene (I guess) but I ended up having to pay the extra after being quoted a price prior to agreeing to have the tires put on.I personally would not do business with them again.

Very disappointed...I brought my vehicle here the other day for a simple thing, basically equivalent to putting air in the tire and immediately they brought me in and try to sign me up right away to go through an entire service set up. I was very disappointed, Im sure they do great work but tried to pull a curve ball on me and I wasn't taking it. I later on did call back and tried to schedule but we couldn't make ends meet.

My 2007 BMW 328i blew a radiator hose on the evening of Saturday, January 2nd. Had car towed to the 374 E Hillsborough Ave. Olin Mott shop. I called and spoke to Randy on Monday morning at 7:25 am, five minutes before the shop was to open. He got my car into the shop, had the radiator hose replaced, coolant refilled, and had the car ready by 1 pm. They checked my car to ensure no other damage occurred from the overheating and had it idle for a while to ensure it was completely repaired. Picked up the car and drove 300+ miles back home Monday afternoon without issue. I was treated respectfully, had my car repaired promptly, without unnecessary add-ons, and wanted to share my experience.

Every time I come here, not only am I treated with the up most respect from a customer service stand point, but so is my car. The tech's are fast, and great. All of the staff here is great to work with from my experience.Only place I will bring my wheels to, because they won't damage them and take their time.

Just had the worst experience ever with this company.I have been shopping at Olin Mott for years.I purchased 4 Goodyear tires for my Challenger @ $249 each.Now 2 of them are wearing bad and was just informed that I have warranty.The man I spoke to stated that he would sell me 2 new tires and send my tires to Goodyear to see what is up with them.He stated that they have a "0" mile warranty.I will never go to Olin Mott again.Pretty sad when you tell everyone you know about how good a place is and then they fail you tremendously.I am in the automotive parts industry and I am TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED with OLIN MOTT.

After suffering through years of the national chain auto service centers, someone recommended Olin Mott. Over the past year we've had our cars in on three occasions, each visit a pleasure. Reasonable rates, repairs and maintenance done right the first time. Clean comfortable waiting area, room to work online with free WiFi. I was treated like a valued customer. Thank you Kevin!

NEVER take any vehicle to this establishment. I had 4 tires installed and balanced. Now my car shakes so bad I can t go over 50 mph. Took it back 2 times. Told speed balance would fix it. They told me all they did was balance one tire the rest were ok. NOW it s even worse. What a bunch of worthless people. I ll also never take anything back to the Hillsborough location including my work trucks. That group of people are even worse!!!Thanks CharlieHound z Of Hollywood

My wife was pulling a cargo trailer behind our F150 and had a blow out of the front right tire from road debris. I called Larry at Olin Mott and he had the correct tire in stock and he sent Nic to her location and installed the new tire in under an hour. The tire price was excellent and the service charge to go to her roadside location, remove the tire, install the new tire, was also very reasonable. Great service, great people! Happy wife, happy Life! Thank you Nic and Larry!
