Basel is honest and does good work. I just had a really bad experience at the dealership- I had to go there for a recall issue- and the whole experience made me realize that I needed to give a shout out to Basel.

1st time going here today, the place is not very attractive compare to other places they only have 2 garage to work on to, but they have very honest & friendly mechanic (which is hard to see nowadays). Other shop told me I need to change my brakes and when he checked it he told me that it's still at 50% and no need to change right now. I recommend this place, definitely going back here soon for my oil change.Pro: -good mechanic-honestCon: -2 garage only (prefer to schedule, though I just walked in today)-waiting area is just outside the shop (but you can see them closely working on your car which I like, also Target / Publix / Starbucks is few steps away.

Basal did an excellent job helping me with my tire that had a nail in it! His expertise and exceptional customer service was outstanding. I'll be coming here from now on to get all my car services done because of Basal!....Fast forward 4 months I just left and Karim just checked my tires and was able to turn of flashing low tire light that has been flashing over a year. Karim rocks as dies Basel! Very skilled and Great gentleman as well as great car service!!Service: Tires

For the type of facility, it is too expensive. Can't tell what's on rusty drums Mobil 1 or crappie oil.

Great place for an oil change and other services. The guys that work there know their stuff. Sometimes a little busy but because of good service. They service my work truck and my personal vehicle. Can't say enough about this location and the people that work here.

We were at this place from 12pm until closing time. I should have known immediately this place was a scam when they tried to sell me synthetic oil for my car when it is NOT recommended in the owners manual. This place blew a fuse when checking my brake light and tried to say it was another part that I replaced months ago. They allegedly checked all of the fuses but didn't find an issue (I thought I could take their word for that but I guess not). They couldn't figure it out and yet I own a crown vic one of the simplest built cars ever made (ask any mechanic). I took my car to the mechanic that replaced said part and they said that was not the problem and rarely does that part fail after being replaced. Guess what they fixed? A fuse.

This guy is nice, seems honest, and really knows his stuff. Had a leaky oil plug before and another shop replaced the plug with a cheap aftermarket wothout a washer and he found it and replaced it woth the proper oem part. Told me the recommended service intervals which checked out but didnt try to oversell me since I usually have my home mech do this. Also have me a few tips to watch out for and things he has seen other places screw up. Just a really knowledgeable and super nice guy.

This oil change station also sells delicious barbecue food. I highly recommend the brisket. I haven't gotten my oil changed there before, but the fried okra is second to none in Tampa.

I've been going to this Mobil 1 Lube Express for at least a couple years. Besides oil changes, I've had my A/C serviced, my transmission fluid replaced and even my foggy headlights miraculously buffed clear for less than $100. If I have to have something small done, I can stop by and they'll do it at no charge. If they can't fix something, they're honest and send me to a mechanic who specializes in my 2010 Honda Fit. I highly recommend this Mobil 1 Lube Express!!

I've been going to Basil for a few years. Basil is an honest hard working guy, and always a pleasure to see. Whenever I have a strange sound or need to top off fluids, I stop in after a target run and the guys help out with no charge. They understand the meaning of a relationship with their customers. They do more than just oil changes and if it's not in their wheel-house, Basil will tell you where to go. Thanks guys.

The two brothers that run this shop have taken great care of my families 3 vehicles over the past 5 years. Staff are always respectful and professional. Highly recommend over any place in south tampa.

They were quick, clean and professional. I recommend if you are in a rush or want to stay in the car to go here and get it done. They also do more the a routine oil change.

I paid 89$ for an oil change I could of gotten for 50$ corporate Mobil does not care about your living expenses.The dude who worked on my car was polite .Extremely overpriced

Always go to this spot for oil changes and general engine service. Associates always go above and beyond for me and they are much more affordable than the Jiffy Lube across the street.

They didn t care about my vehicle even though I showed intent to spend money on my car ended up doing a tire rotation they put the hubcap on wrong and it flew off on the highway

Waited too long just to get an oil change. Both employees on site saw me waiting didn't even greet me or let me how long it would be. Decided to go to a competitor

If the car wash isn t working or have to pay inside, put a sign BEFORE the drive in area!! I sat in line 20min only to see a small note on payment machine!! That s ridiculous!!!!
