Izzy and Lucas provided exceptional customer service. They were both extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They listen to the issue and help find an amicable solution. Clyde did great work on my car and was efficient. Great place that won t do you wrong. Highly recommend!

Ishmael & Lucas we're extremely helpful when I came in to have my brake pads & rotors replaced and even gave an extra discount beyond the one I pulled online. Explained the process and we're friendly and helpful from start to finish with a solid warranty. Also right next to the Village Inn so you can have a spot to grab something to eat while your car is being worked on and I'll absolutely be back if there are any other issues with my vehicle.

Absolutely AWFUL experience. NEVER take your car here under ANY circumstances. Got new break pads and rotors and 8k miles later needed to be replaced. Was told it was a "manufacturer error" but was still responsible for replacement costs. Ismael Irizarry was rude and mentioned he "works hard to not receive bad reviews" but failed to rectify the situation. He brought up multiple different car parts trying to elicit confusion. DON'T GET SCAMMED HERE!!

I can't praise Midas enough for their exceptional service! They not only took care of every issue my car had, but they also went above and beyond by offering a lifetime warranty on most fixes. As a previous automotive technician who worked for this company at this location, this shop is very disturbing. Techs here are paid by commission. Service writers will ask you to leave a good review for free services. This actually affects the mechanics.. since a tech only makes money if the shop makes money. There's so many jobs/repairs I did that I never got paid for. Really awful people. I witnessed mechanics here recommend and replace parts that work perfectly fine. Taking your car here is equivalent to a backyard mechanic.

I agree with the comment below on staying away if you are a woman. Which is very disheartening given that with previous management it was the opposite. Had my car dropped off with tow company due to not turning on. Instantly charged $155 diagnostic instead of a quick check like it was done before to eliminate any of the basic issues. Then had an employee mansplain how a battery and engine works for 5 minutes. Little did he know I come from a long line of mechanics and was a garage grease monkey kid growing up so I am fully aware how a car operates, but I mean he tried selling me that new alternator early ill give him that. Use to take all my vehicles here for the past 10 years with Gary then Marcus. Always felt comfortable knowing my cars where in good honest and knowledgeable hands. Could easily walk in and speak straight to the point facts and get my cars fixed without issues and extra fluff. That's what kept that place full and people going back. So full that at times an old change would be over an hour long because everyone took their cars there. Now it feels cold, corporate like, insulting, and a cash grab! Will be the last time I step foot in this establishment. Would prefer the overpriced dealer repair shops

In town for the day for wife s business meeting alternated died 6hrs before needing to drive 4hrs home, called in and was able get what some shops estimated at 1400$ for less than half with the help, they spent almost 2 hrs just talking me through it and all possible options to help honestly best place I ve ever been to, fixed my alternator within 4hrs of calling and asking if they do same day work when all other shops said no chance until 3 days later at best definitely try this shop before anyone else if in Tampa area!!

I know everyone has the skeptical opinions about car maintenance. But i can definitely say that these guys by far had great customer service and they are very educated on their craft. I would recommend this Midas location if you want the real deal!

Izzy and the team took care of my flat tire at a last minute notice. They were so knowledgeable and friendly I needed up replacing all my tires. Car repair businesses are hard to trust at times and these guys have gained my business because of their customer service and genuine care for my needs.

Ismael Irizarry is fantastic! He was extremely friendly, courteous & professional. I came in for new brakes & rotors. He had some additional recommendations, but was not pushy in trying to upsell anything that wasn't absolutely necessary today (which I greatly appreciate being a woman going into a car shop alone)! He ensured that I was taken care of quickly, I was out in & out in under 2 hours. I walked next door to grab some lunch & he was kind enough to allow me to utilize their lunch room to have my meal while I waited & also offered me some water. This is the type of service I wish for everyone to receive at any business they go to! Thank you for giving me such a great experience, Ismael - 5 star service! I'm only leaving 4 stars because the price was still a bit higher than I would've liked; however, I do appreciate that it's covered under warranty.

Wonderful experience! The staff was so kind. I felt that they were very trustworthy. They explained everything to me and made sure it was as clear as possible. I had my air conditioner repaired at the Tampa store in August of 2022. In July of 2023, the air conditioner went out again. The manager of the Tampa store told me I was able to bring the car back to the Winter Haven store to have the repair done, because the stores were dually owned. Since the part was still under warranty, I would just have to pay for the labor.Thankfully before visiting the store, I decided to have the car diagnosed at Chevrolet to make sure the compressor was the issue. They confirmed that was the ONLY issue.When I arrived at this store at noon on Friday, they were not able to locate the part to fix my car by closing time and I would have to leave my car there for the weekend to be repaired.When I picked the car up on Monday, a rat had chewed a hole in the front seat over the weekend. The hole measured 2.5 x 2.5 . The rat also ate my sons IPad cover, chewed the underside of the passenger seat and ruined a children s book.The manager, Jonathon, was super apologetic and admitted that when they acquired the business they had a huge rat problem. He said they would repair any damage that was done.I took off work that Wednesday and had the car fully inspected to make sure no further damage had been done.I originally wanted the seat replaced but the owner refused the replace the seat, only to repair, which I finally accepted. I took off work and searched all over to find a place to repair the seat, but the hole was too large for anyone to successfully repair, without it looking totally botched. Each place I took it to, suggested placing a new seat cover over half or the whole seat. I finally accepted that I would have to get a cover put on the bottom half of the seat and that it would not perfectly match the rest of the seats in the car. The new cover would be part leather and part vinyl.A month after leaving the Winter Haven store, the air conditioner went out again. Since it was within the 90 day warranty, I could take my car to any Midas to be repaired.I chose a store in Orlando, who noticed the Winter Haven store had not done the repair correctly. They replaced the compressor and other minor issues the Winter Haven store had done incorrectly.Literally a month later, the AC went out AGAIN! I was so fed up with Midas I took the car to a repair shop that I knew I could I trust. Within about 45 minutes they let me know that the compressor was broken again, and that Midas had used a cheap repurposed part. During the repair, they noticed that the line to the compressor had been bent (most likely by the Winter Haven store to get their cheap part to fit). That was why the compressor kept breaking. They were able to bend the line back into place, but warned me that it may break again in a couple years or so. I spent another $1050 at this store.This was obviously caused by the Winter Haven store because the bent line was not noted on the original diagnosis from Chevrolet and that was why the air conditioner kept going out.I submitted both bills, the vinyl repair bill and the bill from the car repair location who fixed my air conditioner, to the Winter Haven store. The owner of both locations is refusing to pay for the air conditioner repair and is only offering to pay for the seat repair, which is around $500.As a business owner, I know the value of good customer service and taking care of clients. I feel like a nobody to them and have never felt so mistreated by a business. I have taken multiple days off work, had my air conditioner break 3 times within a three-month period (during the summer) and had my car eaten by a rat and all they are offering me is $500?!? Wow.They will lose far more business from would-be future customers reading this review than it would have cost them to just pay my $1050 repair bill along with the seat repair.Please do yourself a favor and avoid both of these locations at all costs.Update: As of January 12, 2024, Midas corporate has resolved this issue.

Novemeber 10th, 2023Stay away. My vehicle leaked all of its coolant in about a month's time. Came in on October 18th due to coolant completely leaking out and causing my engine to overheat. I only came here because it was the closest place to my work with a decent amount of reviews. After a complete "diagnostic" of my vehicle, I was promised it was the coolant boiling over due to a fan braking. Cost me $1,200 for all parts and labor. Today my vehicle overheated again. I popped the hood and there was zero coolant in the reservoir. Called the shop to let them know that my vehicle is still leaking coolant and the issue was not fixed. They failed to acknowledge that the issue was not fixed and found pretty words to inform me that they'd charge me for another diagnostic because it was most likely a completely different issue this time. I completely regret coming to receive services from here since they scammed me out of $1,200 and planned on charging me additional to fix an issue that they assured me was taken care of. Will be taking my vehicle back to my usual mechanic from now on.Service: Engine repair

Have been using them for 4 years but management just changed. They sent my vehicle out with no oil filter or oil, spilled oil all over a parking lot (which they did not clean up properly) when adding oil off site, backed my vehicle into another vehicle not once but twice and had to tell them to get out because they were about to do it a third time, left the oil cap off on another vehicle so oil splashed all over the engine when driven. They also kept my wheel lock key. They claim they did nothing wrong and that by not charging for the two botched oil changes they are at no fault for possible damage done by driving vehicles with little and no oil. They also tried to say that a check engine light was for a completely different/costly service when we already knew what the check engine light was for.Edit: Response from owner says to fill out online form. I called and made formal complaint on May 6th and had to keep calling because no one reached back out. One month later and they said that there is nothing they can do. Thanks corporate.Service: Oil change
