Alex, the young lady in the front along with all the staff at this shop have done a great job. I been working on getting my 30+ year Suzuki car into perfect condition and the team here has installed my new steering gearbox, serviced my ac system and given me direction on successfully getting my hands on a custom part I couldn t find anywhere. Appreciate their genuine motivation to get your car running right! Will definitely continue using this shop in the future and refer to family/friends. Great job to all of you!

These guys are great. They ve done work on my jeep and my Mercedes and I have been nothing but satisfied. Great pricing and they truly take care of you. Highly recommend bringing your vehicle here for any needs, they don t disappoint.

I have been to these guys two times for an oil change. And I will say the transparency, communication, and efficiency, that they deliver is amazing. I am going to be moving out of the south Tampa area, and I will still be traveling to them to get my jeep serviced. Thank you guys for being awesome And I highly recommend them.

Great Service! Got a razor blade stuck in my tire going over the Gandy bridge so got some air at the nearest gas station only had 8lbs psi in the tire. Saw Lightning Auto repair & tires across the street so I pulled in. Alex took care of me right away and got me patched up and back in the road.I appreciate the prompt service despite being busy. Thanks to the whole team..

Had a tire losing air and called them at a very busy time (Friday afternoon) to get help. They said they'd try to get me in. I stopped by and they took care of me immediately. Super staff and great services. I wish all service businesses were this customer oriented. They are the best!

I stopped by on a busy Saturday with a nail in my tire & they went out of their way to help me out & get my tire plugged before they closed! So thankful for their generosity and professionalism! Also, glad that I tried them out because they are just around the corner.

Excellent Customer Service! Alex at the front desk is one of the best. He was spot on in providing an ETA. Got the Flat tire fixed in 30 mins and was back to fishing :) . They know how to treat a customer for sure.

Have brought my car here twice and have only ever had a pleasurable experience.They went out of their way to try and find the parts my car needed at a below market rate and were speedy on their turn around time.Affordable prices and good people. Highly recommend them!!

They are the best in town. Have been here a few times for them to work on my wrangler, but most recently woodies car wash damaged my vehicle and asked me to use lightning which I was more than happy to do. Unfortunately woodies went back on their promise to cover damages and lightning was super quick to work with my insurance to get everything taken care of. Will always come back when I need work done on my baby!

We had a damaged tire replaced. We called, they received us immediately. Ordered and replaced the tire within 24 hrs. They were efficient, professional and user friendly. We will definitely continue to use their services.

I am super happy with my first experience at Lightning Auto. I got a nail in my tire last night and I was able to come in the next morning and they took care of it in under ten minutes. Excellent service and friendly staff!

A neighbor recommended Lightning Auto Repair and Tires. They checked my tire and found no issues, filled it up and had me out the door in 15 minutes. I will definitely be back next time I need tire assistance.

I had a HUGE nail in my tire. I googled tire repair nearby and this place came up. I walked in the office in almost a panic and they made time for me immediately. They checked out my tire, took my car in the shop and plugged it immediately. Took less than 10 minutes. I cannot recommend this place more! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I m so glad a friend of mine referred me to Lightning auto Repair and Tires.I took my car in, because someone put a dent and scratch on my door (but it must be my lucky day! Because the person left me a note!), and Devon put together an estimate and the repair was so fast! It was done in One day!! Even though I was told it may takes two to three days. Not only they are thorough but very reasonable compared to the dealership.In fact, I have taken my car there three times and so did my husband. They are so nice and friendly.I sure would recommended them!

After bringing my car to a few other shops and being turned away because it's too low or they don't know how to work on it, I visited Lightning Auto and was met with awesome service. Josh and his team had no issues getting the car on a lift and completing the work for me (at a great price too). At that time, I was also shopping around for shops to do some paint/fiberglass repair and learned that Lightning Auto also has an in-house body shop. Again, my car has a lot of custom fiberglass pieces that most places either wouldn't touch, or would charge a premium price to fix. Josh was completely transparent and let me know that the job would be challenging, but they would get it done for me at a competitive price. I left my car with them for about 5 days to complete the work and Josh was great about keeping me updated through the entire process. When I picked the car up, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of work given how damaged the car was when I dropped it off. I really can't say enough great things about these guys and will always recommend them to anyone looking for a local mechanic. Found a nail in my tire and called a half a dozen tire shops and they all told me it would either be a long wait or they were too busy. Called lightning Auto and they said come right in, fixed the mail in my tire in fifteen minutes and didn t even charge me. I will definitely be coming back here for future auto repairs.

Good morning! I would like to thank Lily at Lightning Auto for her excellent customer service she gave me. I was involved in a hit and run 3 weeks ago. I had a front bumper that was just hanging off and my right side headlight was not working. I had very little money and she gave me the bulb and put it in at no charge! I definitely recommend them!

Kept experiencing low tire pressure and finally had time to get my tire looked at. I went to one auto repair shop and they required me to purchase a tire but I had to wait so I went to lightning and boy I thank my lucky stars! I called and asked to get a new tire and the man on the phone said bring it in we might be able to repair. I came in and they looked at it immediately. I waited 15 mins and boom fix! So thankful for this business. Definitely the breaking the stigma of auto repair! Thank you for making my Friday!Service: Tires

After moving back to the Tampa Bay area, I was searching for a shop to service both my F-150 and 4runner. From the first time I stopped in to the multiple repairs they ve completed since, Josh and his team have been nothing but top notch. Each time, they have taken the time to explain the process in detail and keep me in the loop throughout. This is the only shop in Tampa Bay Area I would personally recommend to others.Service: Steering & suspension repair

These guys did a drive-in tire plug in less than 15 minutes. Very customer oriented. The mechanic even brought me the nail to show what he fixed. Definitely would use this place again.

Last week I found myself on the Selmon Expressway with a very flat tire on my van. I don t live in Tampa, it was cold and windy out and I had no way to get back to south St. Pete to pick up my kids from school. This AMAZING shop was so sweet, honest and understanding. I pulled in unannounced and just said I needed help with some air to make it back to St. Pete. They got right on it and patched my tire and filled them with air. They were so quick too! They had me in and out and on my way in let s than 15 min. I can t tell you how much they saved me that day and I am so grateful to them. They are a great shop filled with the nicest and understanding people. Highly recommend! If I find myself in Tampa with any issues again- I know where I m going! Thanks guys! Lightning Auto Repair is super professional, fair, and genuine. I had an on-going nightmare with my Tesla at a different body shop, and after nearly a year I had it removed and brought it to lightning auto. Not only did they help me during a super stressful time, they gave me crucial information and updates I needed with my on-going issue. I appreciate them immensely! Highly recommend

We brought a car here. It was $900 for an oil change and alternator repair."Wow! How much for just the alternator repair ... $700..."Ok... "wait... the oil chance is $200?!?Suddenly the estimate changed again. The alternator was replaced around the corner for less than $500. Do not trust this place.

Excellent service! I always bring my car to oil changes, today I passed just to ask about a punctured tire and they fixed it in less than 10 min. totally free! Awesome service! I truly recommend this shop!

I ve gone to Lightning Auto s custom shop twice now to have them install a downpipe and full length exhaust for my vehicle. For the full length exhaust, they allowed me to ship it to their shop and store it for me free of charge. They did an excellent job and even re-adjusted the downpipe to fix a slight rattling issue at no additional cost. I d definitely recommend them for any custom installation needs.

brought my car there to have the tires switched to different rims. they did it and after a couple days of my car in the garage the one tire was almost flat and the another was losing air. i brought it into them after filling them w air at the gas station and otld them they were losing air, they called me back and said they seemed ok but i told them they weren't and to just hold it the day to see what went on. they did and called me at the end of the day to tell me that they were fine and to come pick it up. so i went up there to grab it and i asked if they checked it before i got in and they said they had. when i went to leave the tire pressure light came on and both tires were not holding air and were both very low. i went back in and told them and they pulled the car in and said that the valve stems weren't tight so they fixed it. i said ok thanks and left. another day later while driving around my light came on again so i brought it back there the next morning to tell them. they told me that they couldn't figure out what was wrong and there was nothing they could do about it, i went back in after going to leave upset because i had a long trip the next day. they said sorry we can't od anything. i asked if they had could take the tire off the wheel and look at it or something, he said of course they already did that. i left worried and went to walmart in the morning to get a tire pump i could plug into my cig lighter so i could make it to atlanta. after about 2 hours the tire light came on again and i stopped to put air in and headed out but now it was losing air real fast. i had to stop at another shop and they looked and it figured out that the valve stem wasn't tightened and after that everything was fine. this shop is awful, they lied to me twice about the tires they charged me $160 to put on different rims. not to mention they tried to charge me $250 to install a $30 auxillary battery in my car. the manager there is not to be trusted, he lied to me like it was nothing and left my car disabled just because he was being lazy. not to mention there was a hole in the windshield washer tank after they worked on the car. these people are border line criminal. be careful bringing your car here.

After finding two nails in my tires, I drove over around the corner to Lightning. They repaired both tires in 15 mins and charged a very fair price. Lightning Auto Repair just became my go to local mechanic.
