Had a rear bumper replaced following a minor auto accident. I was very impressed with this shop. Staff were friendly and efficient. They took care of arranging the rental car, which I was able to pick up and drop off right there. My car was ready the next afternoon and looks great! Highly recommend.

I don t know how they got 4stars they didn t even fixed my truck the way it supposed to be fixed they used twist ties to secure my fender walls on my truck and that was the manager s idea to do so but I did tell them that if they have to drills hole to make that work it s not right part no parts should be drilled to stay in place if it wasn t before!!!

Mike and staff have been kind and keeping me posted every Tuesday and Thursday. In regards to my car being fixed and I'm so greatly appreciated for there help and support. My car was brought in on May 7th by stepps towing during the day of my accident which was May 5th. My car has been in the shop for 1 month and 2 weeks while I was suppose to pick it up today June 16th however I received a call today explaing that my seat belt is locked and my check engine light was on however that wasn't the condition in which the stepps tow company brought my car in. My car has been in your shop for 1month and 2 weeks and your just finding out about this after all your test drives you have done and you want my insurance company to pay for it while the other persons insurance company is maxed out completely. I have used gerber collision in the past in valrico do too being at a stop light on lithia pine crest and getting hit on my bumper at a stand still thats why I came back. I'm not angry however I'm very disappointed as a returning client.

My experience with this company was extremely disappointing. Initially, I trusted their service when I took my car to be repaired, especially because they offered a lifetime warranty. However, the work was poorly assembled, and after a few months, the parts began to come loose. When I tried to claim the warranty, they adamantly refused to take responsibility, arguing that it did not cover such repairs.It is inconceivable that a company that promises a lifetime warranty is unwilling to stand behind their work when an issue arises. This attitude demonstrates a lack of professionalism and commitment to service quality. I strongly recommend that you avoid taking your vehicles to this company at all costs, as my experience has been completely unsatisfactory.

This place is wonderful! The best service I ve had at an auto body. Matt is an expert and a honest hard working man. Pamela is the nicest receptionist. They make having a car accident much less annoying!

Gerber Collision is a lifesaver!! I was sent here by my insurance and am so relieved at the high quality service I received. They did an excellent job identifying the issues with my car and fixing everything good as new. Matt helped me so much throughout the entire process, was transparent with me on what was needed and timeframes, and kept great communication the entire time. I will be taking my car to Matt from now on!! Thank you so much for your help and for ending 2023 on a positive note. Y'all are the best!!

I met Jon, Ms. Jerra and Quay today at Gerber Collision & Glass. Great customer service is an understatement. Unfortunately, there was a 5 hour hiccup with my rental. They periodically checked on me, offered beverages and tried to lift my spirits. Denny Hancock, estimator, he is exceptional. He kept me updated every 2 to 3 days. Excellent Customer service. Denny, offered to use some aftermarket parts to keep my cost down, since I was self pay My Dodge Citadel looks beautiful. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with my experience at Gerber Collision. After my Mercedes got front-end damage, I was worried about how long the repair process would take and was super anxious about it. However, Gerber Collision made it seamless and stress-free. Denny, in particular, went above and beyond to keep me and my family updated throughout the entire process, which took less than two weeks to complete.What stood out even more was when the insurance company tried to deny coverage for the tire damage. However, Gerber Collision and Denny took it upon themselves to advocate for us and successfully prevented us from having to pay out of pocket.If, in the unfortunate event that I ever find myself in another accident (fingers crossed it won't happen), I won't hesitate to return to Gerber Collision. I am also confident that if I ever need windshield repair or any other automotive service, this is the place to go. Zero communication, they don t care about their customers time or life s. Would never come back there ever. I got the car back and a nail was in the tire. I'd give it a zero if that was an option. This place is trash. DO NOT, NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES take your vehicle here. Worst ever. It's been over a month and I still do not have my truck. I could've gotten the parts off eBay and had a much quicker turnaround time. I call and it's one excuse after another. Terrible business. When I do get my truck back, I will have to look forward to how terrible of a maintenance job they did. I know 100% that is going to happen. Completely incompetent. I wouldn't even trust this place to change my oil. I should've read the reviews before I came here. If you have read this post and still are considering this place, you have been warned. Any of the positive reviews aren't real. You don't go from being good at something to the worst at the same time. You are just the worst and try to cover it up. Live and learn.

The Gerber Collision and Glass on HWY 301 was top notch! We brought our car in on May 18 and were told it would be ready on June 3. During the repair we received status updates every time it went into a new phase of the process. The updates were great, because I never had to wonder what was happening with our car. When I received an update that the repair was finished a WEEK early I was very pleasantly surprised, as I have heard nightmare stories from other repair companies where the repair takes weeks longer than promised. When we picked up the car, the repair was beautiful! You could not tell it had ever been damaged. The customer service was excellent from front desk to the inspector, even the car rental guy (Enterprise) was nice and professional. I highly, highly recommend Gerber Collision & Glass. The only frustrating part was finding them, because Google Maps does not do a good job of getting you there off of their side street from 301 North. (Hint, from 301 N turn right in front of the Dollar General or you will miss the street. If you are in the Dollar General parking lot, you missed the street.)Services: Painting, Body & Trim

If an opposing insurance ever sends you here, be ready to go through the ringer. This business is not only inexperienced in discussing the vehicles they repair, but also are bordering on illegal repair shop. I was rear ended, at a stop light and the opposing insurance took full claim. I have a high performance vehicle and have done all work on the vehicle at Nationally recognized performance and body shops for this vehicle. As such, I was fully aware of the cost to repair certain items. After an initial inspection, of a car in excess of 90k, I was told the entirety of repairs would be around $1500. This covers repairs to a bumper, trunk, diffuser, exhaust, paint correction and finishing. At the same time, the original manufacturer of this vehicle never repairs portions of a vehicle as it is high performance. Instead, the parts are to be replaced as it is vital to the performance of the vehicle.To put this in perspective, one part is clearly broken and cracked. Rattles when the vehicle is in motion, yet the total repair is almost as much as the single part.The Collision Center of the manufacturer in question quoted over $8000 for the parts alone. The paint was quoted at $1565 while Gerber said it is a total of $240.The manufacturer spends at minimum 3 weeks to paint the vehicle, while Gerber would spend a total of 2 hours to paint the parts.Gene Perez, with just seeing the pictures quoted, over 5k replacing some parts and spending extra time on the paint as it is a complicated color.This place is a scam that works with insurance to make money off the victims of an accident. Knowing my vehicle, there is simply no way such an estimate can even come close to covering the costs of the vehicle.I informed the representative that this price is dramatically lower than anything I have ever experienced, yet they stood by their estimate of $1400.This place will take advantage of you. Please know your vehicles. I am thankful to have enough knowledge of my vehicle to know that I am being screwed. If you are coming here for an estimate for insurance, you will be better off going through your own.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

Great professional people working here the manager is easy to talk to very understanding & professional.the big job was done perfect on my semi,I highly guarantee this location to anyone.this will definitely be my go to place since the first time I visited the place everyone is very kind & professional.One can go a long way talking to the manager explaining one's situation right from the moment you meet him,he will find a way to make sure you're needs are me & leave happy with a big Kool aid smile.It's a great location for anyone who wants a job done right the 1st time.

Avoid. They do not honor warranty. I repaired my car here six years ago. They offer me warranty for life on parts and labor . Today, I went there because a part from my car fall , and the manager wont even have the decency to come out and talk to me. He sends the from desk lady to tell me that there is nothing that they could do about it because the job was done six years ago. I guess warranty for life is only when they want to get the job and make money, no when there's a problem and they need to honor the warranty they offer. The worst part is that this was an easy fix just a cheap part and no more that an hour of labor. But they don't even look at my car. Very poor inspection and repair work, left incomplete after 4 visits on same issueWill be avoiding this business for any future needs; manager accepted the responsibility. Qualify for ZERO star rating in work quality, inspection, repair, customer courtesy ride back home( twice was told , after a 2-3 week interval that our ride back vehicle is in the repair shop as reason for not giving a ride back home)

My experience with Gerber was extraordinary. The general manager, Myra Gregg, was so helpful and kind. This Gerber collision store was so helpful. Part of my collision issue had to do with my passenger side door and fender which look like new again. I also had a previous issue with my front bumper which needed to be reattached and they did reattach it as part of the fender issue and it makes the entire Honda Accord look like new again. They also cleaned and detailed the car. I am so happy a month after completion.Services: Painting, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim

My initial experience with Ron and Gerber could have been better however after expressing the issues I faced Brian reached out to me and worked out a plan with me to get my car checked out for some concerns I had in regards to the repair body work I had done. My work schedule restricted me from being able to physically take my car to the shop but Brian offered to come to my work location and pick up my car to take it to the shop for me. He was very thorough with the work done to my car and he took the time to explain to me where the issue resided and how I could prevent it from reoccurring. Although i was not happy with the customer service i received during my initial service, Brian made up for it and then some. Thank you!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

They repaired my 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan after an accident. I picked it up today and it looks brand new! Did the best work possible. Michael Smith is a true professional to work with. Horrible place of business. I'd give them a zero if ot were possible on this site. Gerber has owed me a $500 deductible refund since my insurance company waived the deductible March of this year. Wad involved in a no-fault accident last August and paid Gerber the $500 deductible when I picked up my car som 45 days later in September. Then March of this year, my insurance company reviewed the claim and waived the $500 deductible...but also paid Gerber a second time. Gerber agreed to refund me the $500. I've called Gerber asking for my refund every month for the past 6 months only to be told each time.."just give it another month. Sorry Gerber enough is enough. Don't waste your time or money with this dishonest business. By the way my insurance adjuster also escalated this issue to the General Manager (Jason) to no avail. Discusted

Absolutely great customer service. Came here through Geico with an insurance claim after an accident. They have clearly marked cones for where to drop off your car at the appointment time. Took less than 20 minutes to get paperwork arranged and get my rental car from enterprise. They utilized a text messaging that updated me along the way and allowed me to respond without having to deal with office hour phone calls as a main source of communication. Fixed my car 2 days earlier than they expected. Picked up a freshly washed car, Chris showed me the repair process through photos on their app, and left happy.10/10 customer service.

I used this Gerber 301 location few times to fix my car. Today I called if they are open accordingly I came for estimates. Jessica a very rude girl was at the front desk at 3:05 pm. She said need appointment for estimates. But when I called the other lady told me to come. If someone can reach for an answer.Thank you

My experience here was awful. I needed to get my car repaired and I was recommended here by the insurance company. My first impression wasn't too bad, everything was good. However, when I received my car back there were scratches all over it and my antenna was bent. I told the manager and she has me sit down in her office and she pulls up these photos they took the car when I got there. She then attempts to zoom in as much as she can and look for the spots, telling me they were there when I got here. She was unable to see anything in the picture, but continues giving me a hard time. Don't you think I would have noticed large scratches all over my car when I got there? Don't you think you would have made a note of it when looking for things that weren't from the accident? She also trys to look through all her photos and tell me that my antenna was bent when I got there. She continues pulling up these pictures and telling me how she can see a slight bend in it. The service manager finally comes in and says to let him look at it. He goes outside and actually LOOKS AT THE CAR Its self. He then goes and gets some car wax and buffs out all the scratches that were there. I said thank you and left. I'm glad one person there was friendly. Shout out to the great service manager, ask to deal with him if you have to come here. Avoid the general manager lady, shes horrible. I would never recommend this location to anyone.
