Went in for my first included maintenance oil change & tire rotation. Car has less then 8k and they recommended air cabin and engine filters for 128.94. I did not approve. Got home and inspected both filters and they were not dirty. Could tell the engine air filter was not inspected as the only fingerprints from engine air filter cover were mine. They did not even set the oil maintenance reminder and did not wash my car after having it for 7 hours as they used to do for oil changes. I've been a Hyundai owner for my last 3 vehicles. Expected more based on my previous experiences. See pic of cabin and engine air filter which was told needed replacement. Was not dirty.

Update (2/19/2024)After I have tried several times to call the Courtesy Hyundai service department, I have yet to receive a call back even though they "will be reaching out to me." The few times I was able to reach anyone, Rick was always "busy" or "away from his desk" but "don't your worry Mr. Ledbetter he will call you back." Well it has been over a week and I am still waiting on a call back, Rick.Original:Rather than honor the sticker they printed out, they proceeded to charge me $72 for the oil change and say this was printed by mistake and there s no such thing as a free oil change. Interesting how the roller accidentally printed out something that does not exist and how it was accidentally put in my car during my last service with them. Very bad customer service for not honoring their claimed mistake.

My wife was having issues with her keys so we went to the dealership to see if they could reprogram them or if not then buy a new key. They claimed her old OEM key wasn t working and she needed a new one. I don t believe that is true but whatever we got the new key for about $400.My problem was the diagnostic, we didn t need or want a diagnostic performed but the sales guy talked my wife into it and she got it for an additional $170.I m certain that the diagnostic was either done by someone incompetent or more likely not done at all because the results were ridiculous. They recommended a tune up and motor mounts which I m sure they recommend to anyone that comes here. Then they recommended a brake system flush which we had done about 4-5 months ago. They also recommended we drain and recharge the refrigerant in the ac system which is completely ridiculous to me, why on earth would you do that to an ac that works just fine and on top of that they did not notice the wheels tie rods were worn out and needed to be replaced. We discovered that about a week later when we noticed some alignment problems were happening. So I m very confident they just charged us $170 for a diagnostic that wasn t actually done. What a scam.

Took my car in for a noise in the transmission back in April (4/14/2023). They charged me for the repairs they could charge for which equals 1500 for a differential bushing (so far) They kept the car for months and months claiming other problems so they supposedly repaired my clutch and all my catalytic converters under warranty.I finally got the car back EIGHT MONTHS LATER (a couple weeks ago in early December). It has the same noise as it had when I took it to them in April so they ultimately hijacked my car and didn't do anything. The people in the office do not care and do not respond to you. I called corporate and talked to someone that acted and sounded like an internet repair scam. Do not even darken the doorstep of this dealership or service dept. I took my car to my family mechanic who diagnosed the issue in less than 2 hours... and the dealership couldn't fix it in 8 months. They are incompetent or this is their normal shady practice. I'll never buy another Hyundai or Genesis product. I'm ready to take further action . They do not honor the warranty they love to plaster in every advertisement.

I acknowledged my mistake upon departure in this horrific experience called service from Courtesy Hyundai. Service if delivered correctly the incident would not have occurred. I was handed my fob after a 2.5 hour wait with a scheduled appointment and was pointed in the direction of my vehicle parked several distances away still with the plastic seat cover and paper mat in vehicle but not properly placed in vehicle Basically trash left for me to clean out. Hence the reason I expressed concern to the porter that this vehicle is not mine, explaining my vehicle is never that dirty. Apparently the employee with obvious anger issues decided to take his problems out on me and my fob and threw it to the concrete ground under the outside vestibule where my vehicle should had been delivered to me and walk away leaving me completely speechless and beyond upset. Because of the actions of this employee failing to do his job correctly, and for Management failing to reach out in days that followed this Hyundai location has lost my business. Courtesy Hyundai has failed with taking any liability with the incident that occurred on that day which is more upsetting than the incident it self. This involved my personal property, paid in full upon receipt my 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe. This location and sister dealerships next door will never receive a suggestive place to go when it comes to vehicle purchases or service. Three week window of opportunity to clear this up and nothing. And then, next time you ask a customer to please write you a five star rating do the customer a favor step outside of the box and earn it. Just doing your job and complying with what you are expected to do doesn t earn you a five star rating remember that.

Car was promised on Tuesday. Called to see when it could be picked. Called 5 times asking for service manager to return call. No response. Was told part would not be in until Thursday. Never received a call to advise me about this. The communications of this dealership is lousy as is the customer service.

I don t know where to start.First of all, everything they had quoted me I have found to be at least half price at other shops. Then there s the question of whether they re actually doing anything right. They were supposed to fix the lumbar support in my seat before my warranty expired; they claim they did, after it took forever to get the part (a few months at least, but I forgave that, maybe out of their control), but soon after my vehicle was out of warranty I found that the button was not doing anything again. I have a bad back and that aspect of my power seat is perhaps the most important to me.Then right before I moved out of state, they told me I desperately needed new tires. That the ones I had were borderline dangerous due to irregular wear. Well guess what? They re the only place that has serviced my tires for the entire life. This includes numerous rotations, balances, alignments, etc. in fact the last few times I took my car in here they told me I needed an alignment, and then I d bring up that they just did an alignment the last time. They would look perplexed and then tell me that they d do it again. Someone wasn t doing something right and I have concluded that my BF Goodrich tires, which only had 35k miles on them and should have lasted at least 50k, were toast due to the people servicing my car. There is no other explanation after numerous rotations, balances and alignments for the tires to be considered borderline dangerous at just 35k.I ve tried to take all this up with Hyundai of America customer service, and responses have been spotty and further and further between. Now I have moved to NC and the service depts here also have terrible reviews. Furthermore I was never offered a loaner when they had my car for prolonged periods of time, and it was like pulling teeth to get a ride back home or to work a few miles away. No more dealerships for me.

After leaving my new car for the first oil change and tire rotation, i requested a complimentary car wash at the end of the service. When they gave the car back I noticed my car s interior was soaked and wet including the leather seats having water on them (the windows when doing the car wash were left open), plus i found a food leftover on my mat. Carelessness like this makes me wonder what else they might have neglected! Awful experience! I would not even advise someone to buy a hyundai to begin with!

Accepts service appointments even though they are backed up by "over a month". If they are unable to easily diagnose your service issue will leave your vehicle to work on other vehicles. Staff do not answer their phones and do not stay near their desks. They do not call to update you about your vehicle status because they are too busy and backed up. If you call to ask about your car they do not answer and the front desk does no know where the service providers are so you don't hear back for days at a time.

Had an issue with someone stealing about $800 of merchandise out of my car. I made the mistake of not emptying my car out. Even though the dealership is not responsible, they made good on it. I believe it was a crime of opportunity for some thief scouring the parking lot. I believe the car was unintentionally left unlocked. Either way the dealership did their best to satisfy me. I was really upset about the theft. But, kudos to the service department and Mr. Acosta and Mr. Glickman for doing the right thing!!

Ben R. at Courtesy Hyundai Tampa always does a great job. Required major repairs on my Santa Fe that were covered under Warranty and Ben made it happen. He's always good to work with and listens to your concerns.

I went here to get a car and Raymond Hill made it happen. He was personable and really made sure we were taken care of. Also big shout out to Taz, he was also really nice and I will be back to work with either of them. Overall everyone is great, and really sweet. But there was some initial confusion in the beginning with the website and availability, plus we were there for a very long time.

Definitely I will not recommend this people...they scratch my 4 bran new 2021 alloy wheels doing the tires rotation...that's drop my car value in 2400 dollars just because somebody decided not to be careful enough...I will made them pay even if have to be taken to the court

Truly an awful experience. My husband left his car for service and there was just 0 communication. Car took forever to be ready. Nobody answers your calls to check on the status of your vehicle. Your vehicle will also not be ready when promised. I wasn t able to go to to work today as my husband had to take my car since his was not ready on time like at all.

Was told I would be notified when parts came in for my car. They didn t tell me until I reached out to THEM after hearing nothing. My car was supposed to be done same day I dropped it off (Thursday) which didn t happen. They tell me it ll be first in line to finish Friday. I call Friday after hearing nothing and they say they don t have time to do the road test (the final thing). HOW, WHEN IT SHOULDVE BEEN DONE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING???I call Saturday to get an update, and they put me on hold just for it to hang up and they do not answer a single call. But somehow sales is always available. I ve texted the number and called over 10 times. Totally agree with the other reviews on never coming here for service.

I purchased a new car from Courtesy Hyundai 2020, due for my first complimentary service and a recall early 2021. Booked my appointment online and was so pleased to see they offer pickup and drop off service for your car. I was all set for a Saturday service- email confirmation and all, it was a total breeze! Then the day/time that the service was scheduled they didn t show up or call. So I call because I get that life happens and sometimes things don t run on time. I called 5 times and could not get through to a human. Eventually left a voicemail to request follow up. A few days go by, no response back from the service department. So I call again- cannot get a hold of a live human and ultimately leave a voicemail for the manager of the service department. And here we are 4 days later and still no contact from the dealership. Really excellent way to treat your customers after they purchase a new car from you.... needless to say my service appointment is booked at another dealership and I will never return to Courtesy for service, recall, or to purchase another vehicle. Sincerely a disappointing experience all around.

I recently had my car serviced at Courtesy Hyundai for several issues. The Service Department did an excellent job diagnosing and repairing the issues with my Hyundai Elantra. Ethan Clark was my Service Consultant. Ethan was great. He is very knowledgeable, courteous, and has great customer service skills. I had to leave my car once and also return when a new part arrived. Ethan made sure that everything was completed timely and satisfactory. The Service Departments' Customer Services phone area did an exceptional job. Liz, Alexis, and Stephanie assisted me during the course of my repairs. Liz and Alexis updated me several times. These employees were always professional, very helpful, and courteous. Thanks to the Courtesy Hyundai Service Department for the positive car service experience.Services: Body & Trim, Air conditioning, Battery

The worst service I ve ever experienced from any shop ever. Took two weeks to get one simple part replaced on my car. Took three days to get in contact with anyone about my car and when they finally answered we were told they didn t have our car or name in their system and had to run outside to make sure the car was there. Each time we called, we had to call about 5 times to get ahold of someone. Calls were dropped and we were hung up on with no call back. Unbelievably unprofessional. Will never use this repair shop again. So frustrating

This was another wonderful experience. Jordan is the best, I know he is looking out for me. He told me the things that attention now and what could wait. Don't see that at other service depts.

Hyundai s warranty is what they use as a great sells tactic. It is why I purchased my first (and only) Hyundai. PLEASE don t fall for this claim. While they love to claim this great warranty, good luck trying to actually get any service. I laughed when the first question I got when leave this review was did you use this business? NO! I was unable to. I have called 5 times to schedule repairs on my 2022 Hyundai that has had multiple issues. I have made these calls over three different days. What do I get? An answering machine. How can you have a dealership with a dedicated service department with no one available to take your service request? In this dealership s defense, the Lakeland service department is no better. They would never return my calls even when I left messages. It is apparently Hyundai s lack of care and emphasis on customer care. Put it to the test if you are considering a Hyundai. Call the service department and when you don t get an answer then, call the sales department. There is always someone available to answer a call for a potential sell.I have had numerous new vehicles from several manufacturers over the years. Some are better than others but they all provide some level of customer care after the purchase. Hyundai s customer care and service is nonexistent!

My wife took our car to have a recall service completed and get an oil change. They have a great system that allows you to approve additional services needed, unfortunately they don't use it because they didn't do what I requested through this service. Also, when they were done with the routine stuff my wife discovered that the turn signals no longer work, nor the electronic locks. Not sure what you think you did but you don't seem to be very good at the basics. I'll see you on Monday so you can fix your mess up. Yes, I will be skipping to the front of the line (which is usually very long).Service: Electrical
