My engine caught on fire on 7/22/23. Automotive towed it. I couldn't do anything until Monday. After reading the reviews, I was apprehensive about what I would find when I arrived from out of town to retrieve my belongings. I called, but the number was disconnected. Upon arriving at the business, until I retrieved what I could (plate, etc.) it took less than 45 minutes. We didn't have the right tools with us, but one of the gentlemen in the lot helped us get the plate off my car. They were polite, efficient, and worked quickly with State Farm to ensure all was handled with the least inconvenience to me. Five stars all the way!

Horrible, horrible experience. The "manager" that works there was completely rude. He was trying to charge me more for a tow. Then he KEPT saying "I'm making this more complicated than it needs to be", and said "if I didn't pay it, you can leave your car where it's at." He had the driver return my car! I contacted AAA, and they stated there is a good chance Automotive Towing will be losing their contract with them. Yes, this was a AAA service they were performing, and this is how they treated their AAA customers! I got another towing company to perform the service at the proper rate. Stay away.

This place is a scam. My car was towed from my apartment complex (with a resident sticker) at 9:44 pm. I picked it up at 10:59 am and I was charged $70 for the overnight fee even though my car hadn't spent 24 hours there. When I asked why, the employee told me that after 6 hours they consider a day. I guess instead of a full day being 24 hours, to them a full day is only 6 hours. When I called during the night to ask how much I would be charged to pick it up, I was told by a different employee that it would be $253, but when I did pick it up during the morning, an employee told me it was only $215. I also guess they decide to charge you however much they want. And they only accept cash.

They are robbing people blind 330.00 to get your car back on the weekend these predators are relentless karma will win in the end it always does an they don t want to give u change back either smh they really suck if I could give a zero I would gladly!!!!

Predatory Towing Company in my opinion. A friend of mine had her car towed that was in a gated community because she had an expired tag! She was a guest at an Airbnb and parked overnight on a Friday. The company towed her car in the middle of the night.. She thought it was stolen to only find out this company towed her. The customer service is HORRIBLE. I called to ask how to help get the car at 3:45 pm on Sat and was told they closed at 4pm and we would have to call for an appointment the next day. Which resulted in another overnight charge. Only to find out later after reading the law that they have to meet you to release your car 24hrs a day! We went on Sunday at 4pm to get the car and was told $282 CASH ONLY! They refused a Church Business Credit card. We told them we tired to get it Friday night but their employee told us they were closed. We said we should not be charged for the extra day because by law they were to meet us 24hrs a day. They would not discount the price for the extra storage day! Clerk said talk to owner "I am just the messenger"! My friend tried explaining the law to them and the clerk got upset and said to call the police then. I told my friend to just pay the cash and get the car out and deal with it on Monday. In my opinion this company takes advantage of people, lies about their hours to charge additional storage. I also think by dealing in cash only the are avoiding paying Federal and state taxes! The car they towed belongs to a single mom of a 2 year old, her phone charger and diapers were in the car! Her phone died trying to call and work out a ride to the tow yard and her child had no diapers. She had to borrow a phone to call me and I had to go buy my friend diapers and a phone charger! The clerk was not helpful and they only care about squeezing money from people.

Jimmy came by and towed my truck today. He did an amazing job. He took his time he did more than he had to. When he was loading it. It had a full load and his tires came off the ground. He s very professional on time courteous, polite, and very businesslike, don t hesitate to use them. I see that they might have some bad reviews but I don t believe it not when it comes to Jimmy he was fast he was on time and he was efficient.

I'm sorry other's haven't had a great experience, but I would recommend them especially if you are stuck at the airport. Our roadside service contacted another company and they were horrible. After being there for over 4 hours (with our son), we finally decide to stop believing their lies (they also took their phone off the hook.) I wish I got the name of our Automotive Towing guy, but he was supposed to clock out and they were close to closing and he said he would help us. Our service provider personally called them and explained our situation. They informed the rep the airport policies and I'm glad they did because once they confirmed they were on their way we were going to hide the key and leave. You have to be there to verify with the airport its your vehicle. I really can't thank you guys enough. Please tell our driver how thankful we are!

My husband's vehicle was illegally tagged by this company for being "inoperable". We called the company and spoke to a man that was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were informed today by the Apartment Complex that the car should NEVER have received a sticker. There were no flat tires, the tags are current, and the vehicle is operable. We have contacted the Corporate offices of the Apartment Complex, and we will continue to pursue this issue, so that this never happens again. Stay away from this company, and if your car is wrongly towed, please call the police.

This was the worst experience I have EVER had! My initial call to AAA went in at 6:17. I was told the service would be there no longer than 45 min. First the driver tells me he s in traffic but about 10 minutes away. Twenty minutes pass, I call back and he doesn t answer. Another 20 minutes and I m told it was mapped incorrectly but it was within the area and AAA agent tells me to stay on the line while he calls the driver. He comes back and assures me no more than 10 minutes. Another 20 minutes pass and it is now getting dark and I call a friend to come stay with me. I can not go to the dealership as it closed at 7pm. I call driver leave a msg. He calls back and is asking me about where I am?!?. Once he finally gets here (8:40) he says he needs a tow and if I don t have one he can t put the car on his truck. I don t know where the liability falls here whether it s AAA or the towing truck company who my first call to AAA they ask you what type of vehicle, here and make. The tow truck company should know whether they have the proper equipment or not for that specific car. He also stated that he got in a police car and had to go take care of the police car. I can understand if this was an emergency, however, why didn t he call me or AAA called me? He goes into the trunk of my car and start looking around move things that I have, goes back to Where he was originally looking finds the tow and just leaves everything that he messed up as it was. Was the most unprofessional and socially inept person I ve come across in quite a while. My friend started speaking to him in Spanish and the next thing I know he s telling me he s going to take the car off the tow and leave it here that he doesn t have to take it?!?!? Over 2 1/2 hours and this BS. Didn t even attempt to help me into the truck. I am writing the better business bureau next.

I still do not know how this company is in business.They towed a friends car unlawfully from our apartment complex WITH A RESIDENT STICKER. They Also towed my vehicle from visitors parking as I was heading out at the exact time limit. They did not want to set my car back down to try and get more money out of my pocket. I truly believe they are running a scam with the apartment complex as they try to unlawfully remove vehicles all the time. Very shady and unprofessional staff. Extremely rude when you try to reason with them and heartless.They also have several pending cases and police reports against them. DO NOT USE OR SUPPORT THIS COMPANY!!

DO NOT USE ! They were hired through progressive to tow my truck as part of roadside assistance to come at 8 am. Called through out the day for updates on when they would come and never came. All that after paying $20 for the extra Milage ahead of time.

Dispatched via manufacturer roadside assistance. Took two hours to show up after numerous lies about ETA! I think their scam is telling the contracting company or customer they will be there within the required 60 minute ETA, just to get jobs and then they just make everyone wait two hours! Crooks! Dispatcher provided false ETA times and "didn't know where his driver was" at one point. Driver himself was good once on the job.Zero stars for the dispatcher and company as a whole!

Through Progressive, they were supposed to tow my car. 90 minutes later and no update. Call the number and it goes straight to voicemail. Progressive somehow gets in touch and they say another 30 minutes. 45 minutes later and still nothing. What a waste of a company.

Deserves zero stars but you cannot post the review without giving them at least 1 star. Worst towing company ever. The drivers are nice but they do not know what they are doing. If your insurance company or AAA tell you that Automotive Towing answered the dispatch ask them to contact another company even if the ETA is later. You will save time in the long run.

Put a 24 hour towing warning on my car saying it was 'inoperable' they had visibly opened my hood and tried to break into my car via the front doors as they were both popped open. My car is operable. Idk why i got this 24 hour notice, and when i called to figure out why my car was given the warning nobody answered for hours. Horrible and shady company.

This company will lie repeatedly about arrival times to you, and they also lie to AAA about when they arrive, etc. Two times, this company reported the driver arrived on site and he was not there (he actually wouldn't arrive for hours, yet this business was located less than 5 miles from vehicle and kept saying 20 more minutes, which was more lying). If AAA contracts this company to tow your vehicle, insist on another provider and save yourself hours of run-around. This business lacks integrity and doesn't even pretend to care. They're running a game. It's the most dishonest service I've experienced from any business in as long as I can remember. I don't usually post reviews, but it was so terrible I took the time. Please stay away!

Our insurance company dispatched them for us- waited 4 hrs for a tow truck - like other reviews stated- they go after the cash calls- the guy called us and even stated we were bumped because he had to do pickups for the police- this company is unreliable and has no integrity at all-

Just read all the reviews and unfortunately I have to agree. My Auto Insurance company called them to help me tow my vehicle. The original ETA was set for 6:30 PM. It's currently 9PM and they haven't arrived yet. My insurance company called many times and we continued to receive different ETA's. Needless to say, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this is truly disappointing. I'm surprise they're still in business.

most incompetent and condescending people. being quoted an ETA of 60 min, I waited. That time passed without a call. 2.5 hours after my original call, they still had not shown up even though I had been promised 15 minutes earlier that "honey, sweetie 5-10minutes top". luckily I managed to get a ride home and called to cancel the service. 2 hours and 45 min after I originally called (& after I had cancelled the job), they finally showed up. I wouldn't trust them to tow a hot wheels car

Predatory practices improperly towing vehicles. Followed up with this issue with the apartment management company. This seems a consistent practice with this company by reading all of these reviews. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TOWING COMPANY . If others have problems, follow up and keep complaining! Something should be down about these scammers.

Not a big surprise to see the google ratings of this company. As a fellow business owner, including a towing company up in Georgia, I am very familiar with the job description of a towing dispatcher.ADRIAN, Adrian, Adrian........the dispatcher for Automotive Towing was terrible. Advice from a fellow owner within the towing industry, you DO NOT want this guy representing your company. VERY RUDE person on the phone, hung up on me and refused to answer when I called the business back.If AAA dispatched this company on your behalf, good luck. If you have options, look elsewhere.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never dealt with a worse tow company than this one!! It took the driver 2.5 hours (1.5 hours late) to arrive only to tell me he couldn't tow my vehicle with his particular type of truck. I asked to speak with his manager who was even more rude. He told me he was doing me a favor (however this is a service I PAY for) by having another driver come out in an HOUR. When I explained the extended wait was unacceptable he basically said too bad and hung up on me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! If AAA or your vehicle warranty service selects them as a provider you might as well cancel ... as this will be the end result anyway.

I honestly can t rate anyone working here, because after 2 hours no tow truck has shown up. Stuck at an intersection in heavy traffic less than One. Mile. from the business. Should be there in 45 minutes. Nothing. Should be there in 30 minutes. Nothing. Should be there in 20 minutes. Well, by now the officer kindly waiting with me has called another circulating wrecker, so at least I can get help. Not to mention all this communication was through insurance reps, since this place won t answer my calls. Pointless is about the only word that comes to mind.

Absolutely horrible customer service! I will be telling my insurance company to make sure they never select this company again. I can t believe how uncaring they are and VERY, VERY LATE. It s ridiculous to be in a worse situation with ZERO communication when you re already stranded somewhere. I had a unsettling experience with the driver which left me uncomfortable and unsafe. I would suggest anyone to use a different service to save them time and mental well-being.

Terrible customer service. They come out at 4 am and put stickers on your car for parking in your drive way that is privately owned. Then you call the guy working the phone was so rude and said it was a notice and they would be back In a couple of days and tow your car if they see it touching the side walk. I guess the reviews are true! Beware of this company it sounds like they scam a lot of people to make money...

What a complete waste of time and hassle. I would not recommend them to anyone. We both discussed needing a flatbed and yet they send a non flatbed after waiting over a hour. Then he says it will be approx. another 55 mins, so after giving them an hour, I decide to call and they are not even on the way yet and don't know when they will arrive. The he suggest me just leave my vehicle with the keys in it and they will get it later. I am surprised they are still in business with the way work. The guy was rude on the phone and hangs up on his customer. Worst experience ever!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Called AAA and was told they would be here in an hour. 2 hours later and 45 minutes phone call to aaa who was trying to reach the tow company that wouldn't answer only to have to get another company involved all because the driver said he was at the location..he was but picked up the other car so he screwed me. I've now been sitting on the sidewalk of a busy intersection at night for over 2 hours because they are worthless.

So glad this company was who came to my rescue today. The driver was a really nice guy and super patient, and the person I spoke to on the phone was so patient and helpful. Driver was there right when they said he would. Such a great experience.Will definitely recommend this company to anyone

These "business men" are complete scam artists who have no respect for their customers. They towed me out of the parking lot that I was lawfully parked in because I live at the apartment complex. They charged me 200$. I am a college student, and I clearly didn't have 200$ to spend on getting my car back from them, but they threatened me with a 25$ a day fee for storage telling me that the longer I waited the more money that I didn't have I would owe them. These are probably some of the worst people anyone will ever have to deal with, they only take cash and are crooks and thieves. Words cannot describe how hopeless and miserable there company is. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS EVER!

Horrible experience! I called them after my car broke down at gas station nd was told theb would be there in 60 minutes. An hour passed and callwd for an update, said they were running behind and would be there in 20-25 minutes. Waited 30 minutes called again and was told it would be another 90 minutes or I could leave the key in the car. Obviously not an ideal choice being at the gas station. I called another company, Auto Pros and they were with me in 60 minutes.
