Solid staff with all the tools you need. Spent Saturday morning helping another friend replace gear shift. Manager said its a great place to rotate tires, change oil and brakes with plenty of lifts.

I was camped in the FamCamp and needed to do some emergency repairs and was glad there was an auto shop. I was able to do my repairs and finished up by closing. The shop was clean, friendly staff, and so glad it is open for military retirees and veterans. The next morning I received a call from Daniel Pepe that I had left my registration and insurance cards. I immediately returned to the shop and Daniel brought them to me. Daniel Pepe has a great positive attitude, honest, and he goes above and beyond. His performance is a credit to the auto shop, the community and MacDill AFB.

This shop needs a bit of a budget for refurbishing and upgrades. My tool box was missing at least 30% of the tools that were supposed to be in there. When at other bases, the tool box was super labeled and checked prior to check-out.All the equipment seems mechanically sound and in good working order.Overall a good place to service your vehicle at an inexpensive rate.

A great place to come and work on your , truck or bike. The service is very friendly, but the stalls are on a first come first serve basis and some of the bays are used for storage. Half of the lifts work and the other half are questionable. They have a couple of tire changing machines, but no one qualified to operate them. This place has so much more potential if they would just clean it up a little and put some $$ and TLC into it. Still better than working in my driveway!!

This place has saved me so much money, if you love wrenching on your own card this place has everything from friendly staff, great prices, 2 types of car lifts and anything a mechanic shop should have. I hope they get their tire machine and alignment machine fixed soon, but besides that I ve saved thousands already. I ve been brining all my friends to it for their repairs as well and they love it and are amazed that such a shop exists. Happy wrenching!

I have specifically used this shop on many occasions, teaching my son about changing oil on his vehicles, changing out brakes and rotors.. I live in Wesley Chapel and could literally go anywhere but the shop has allowed and afforded me the opportunity to help teach my son how to understand the basics so he can always maintain his vehicles himself. I had another project that I had shelved once I found out the shop was closed until further notice I man glad to see it s back open now.. time to start working on car again!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Brakes, Oil change

Jeff (shop lead) is a true asset to the shop. His expertise, friendly can-do attitude provides a very unique atmosphere where the user feels safe, enabled and above all comfortable knowing that help is always there when needed. The shop is clean, well-organized and very reasonably priced for young troops and the casual retiree. Cheap, convenient, and easy. This place has saved me tons of money on things from oil changes to basic mechanical fixes. It is great for those seeking to learn about cars and also for those who are on a budget.

Great spot to learn and fix your car or truck at a great price it's only $6/hr open wed 9am-5pm Thursday 9am-7pm Fri 9am-7pm Sat 9am-5pm plenty of space

The auto hobby shop is FANTASTIC. Experienced phenomenal customer service from Jeff today who helped my boyfriend with some issues with our brakes/ball joints - he didn t have to but he even helped with replacing one of my belts. This guy is truly an asset and needs to be recognized! Frank was amazing as well- he jumped in and put in WORK on a difficult ball joint we had. Do not sleep on this place- absolutely fantastic and we will be back. Thank you Jeff and Frank!Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

Excellent customer service. Great knowledge on all types of vehicles and willing to lend a hand.Tire change, rotation, balanceBrake pad cleaning,AlignmentLifts, drive ons, and 3 floor lifts that go up about 3ftEntrance height is 10 ft high just to answer for RVsI recommend bringing or buying special tools for your vehicle but it wouldn't hurt to call and ask a mechanic.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the benefit of having this resource available but I think the 6 SVS (NAF) need to invest time and money here. As compared to other military bases auto hobby centers I've used, this one seems the most neglected. Heck, just start by someone pulling all the weeds growing around the building that make it look abandoned.

I have been going here for years but Jeff and the new team are a phenomenal crew to work with! They saved me an hour off of the jobs I had to do today and we're super helpful in sharing knowledge today. I'm really looking forward to going back for future maintenance jobs!

The auto hobby shop is a welcomed part of the morale and welfare group. It give the ability for the do it yourself group to take care of their own vehicle and ward off those price gouging shop that rip you off tremendously. PLEASE KEEP IT OPEN.

Great for working on your car. A clean covered space and lifts are available for a little more . Hourly rates. Tools at each space and specialized tools are available. Great for do it yourself car and Truck repair.

They did a lot of work over the past few years. The place is way better now. They now have every stall open and it s not hard to get one with a working lift. Huge improvement
