My experience echoes the other bad experiences previously mentioned in other reviews. We get a call at 4:30 that the car is ready. Mind you this is after about a week and a half of waiting for the car. We get there at 6, and the vehicle is not ready. We watched this mechanic glue trim pieces and the front grill back onto the car. These parts previously had clips so it was clear the clips were broken. After an hour of standing outside and waiting for the gluing and other small things to be completed, they go to start the vehicle and the battery is dead. After another 20 minutes and being told the battery needed a full charge which would take 30 minutes, one of the women who work the front desk came out and took a look at the battery. The positive terminal was disconnected! She is the one who fixed it and we finally got on the road. We made a stop, and when we got back to the car the battery was dead once again. I took a look and it turns out the ground terminal was loosely attached to the battery. The whole experience was abysmal. Find another shop, DO NOT waste your time, money and energy dealing with this dumpster fire of a business. Oh and by the way, we sent it in because of a stuck hood latch. An absolute joke.

My vehicle was actually in worse mechanical shape after the work was done. I barely made it less than a mile back to my apt before it died. 120 bucks wasted. I didn't even bother taking it back.

My girl took her car here yesterday and almost got taken advantage of. The guy said that she needed and new transmission and everything thing would have costed 1140 including labor.. I thought it sounded to good to be true so I sent her to someone else and they said they messed to change some sensors and it only costed 250 and the car is running perfectly! These guys at Alfonso are rip off artists DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!

Very quick to help when I showed up near to closing time with my car leaking gasoline. Nice staff and very quick to follow up.

Love this shop!! Everyone is so nice! They fixed my car! They ask to follow up in a few days to make sure everything is all good! They truly care and they know what they are doing. I had a few conversations with people in the lobby also getting work done on their car and I hear great feed back all the time. Definitely will come to Alfonso if I ever have any issues with my car. Great people you can trust!

Worse mechanic I've ever been to. Terrible with customer service. Will hold your vehicle for 6/7 days each day saying it'll be ready the following day at 2p then they says sorry the next day. Until it's been a whole week. Full Warning do not take your car here. I wish I took the reviews into consideration prior to going. Unfortunately, this was a emergency. Last resort.

Worst experience ever! I had my car there for 11 days for a misfire.i had to call the shop several times to find out what was going on with my car cause they never called me themselves.Alfonso changed the coils,spark plugs and mixed up my coil connector wires(the only parts I gave consent to change was the coils)so it started running on 2 cylinders right after he mixed my wires he blamed it on the person that worked on the wires before him and tried to switch the computer cause he was saying that it was burnt out from the wires when it wasnt actually burnt out,I decided to go get my car back to bring it to another shop before he could make it any worse and he had the audacity to tell me I was driving him crazy and wasted his time by getting my car back after I told him to order all those parts(I NEVER TOLD HIM TO ORDER THEM!) when he was just making my car far more worse as he was wasting my time.He even said my spark plugs were broke when I already told them they were brand new when I first dropped of my car! I brought my car to Pete's instead and it was fixed in one day,turns out the only thing that needed to be changed in the first place was the oxygen sensor(which is supposed to only take 5 minutes to replace)could've been an easy cheap quick fix but I ended up paying 500$ plus 160$ for useless parts cause Alfonso mixed up my wires and burnt out my coils.ALL OF THE GOOD REVIEWS FOR THIS SHOP ARE FAKE!NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE THIS GUY IS RIDICULOUS!

My daughters car broke down in front of this shop on 4/13/22 she was walked up and asked if anyone could help her and they told her no they are to busy to help out. This is a huge issue and they certainly need a lesson in humility...Clearly not someone you can trust or depend on! she is 17 and was very just looking for help... What a classless shop, Lets hope this never happens to your child or wife.

Overcharged my car by at least 200 bucks to change some piece and took some of my gas out of the car without permission. I admit this place is a good place to go too if other mechanics cant figure out what is wrong with your car because this place KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS car technology better than most. But I am just angry that I got overcharged and gas removed without my expressed permission. Maybe next time I'll have a better experience, if it's an emergency.

We have just recently been referred to this shop from a friend. The first time we took our car there, it was for an oil leak. They took our car in immediately and fixed the issue. Our car is currently there for the AC unit, again, he took in the car immediately. They are very fair in pricing. They stay open late, and they get the job done. I am completely satisfied and will continue to take our car there whenever we have a problem. I would recommend this shop, and already have to anyone I know. Fast and friendly, the price is very reasonable!!!

I'm so satisfied with the work they did. My car sounds and runs like new. On my way to work my car started stalling like it wanted to stop. Well I took it to Firestone and they said it was the ignition coil. They changed it and it didn't work. They said that I had to take it to the dealership. Keep in mind I just moved to the Tampa area and I don't know anybody. I started googling auto shops because I refuse to pay $2,000 to get that type of job done. I called Alfonso's shop and they were all very friendly and helped me all in 1 day. He changed the ignition coil, flushed out the fuel injection system, and changed the spark plug WAYYYYY cheaper than $2,000. With that being said THANK YOU so much!!! Awesome job and customer service.

My car broke down while I was vacationing in Tampa and after much frustration I finally got to the repair shop. I had no appointment but they still got right to fixing the issue. And they worked with me on the price seeing as I had a limited amount on me just so I didn t end up stranded. 10/10 will go there again they really restored my faith in auto repair shops.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Peter, Shop Manager, ASE Master Certified and experienced in mechanic and electronics of vehicles. Very well supportive and knowledgeable in the field. Honest and punctual and definitely has affordable prices. Fixed my Audi A4 in a timely manner. Highly recommend it.

Thought they seemed like decent people but got ripped off. Brought my car in for a new starter, was called and told that I had an engine leak as well but they could fix everything for about double the original price. 2 months later the leak is still going on and he tells my pregnant fiance to just buy oil and see if it holds instead of fixing the problem. I decided to go elsewhere and was told by 2 different mechanics the leak was never even repaired and I was ripped off.

Very unprofessional I was told to leave my car there for four hours on Saturday so that they can finish the repairs which then turned into over eight hours of them having my car. When I pick up my car and start driving it I had the same problem that I originally came there for. So after spending $400 nothing was fixed. Then we take it back the next day and he tells us it s going to be another $70 And it literally took him all day to get to it. Then we drive the car again after his so-called fixed it and we have the same problem so once we bring it back we were told it was gonna be another $20 so we give him the money and he orders the part which turns out to be the wrong part. He said he noticed it was the wrong part but he didn t even bother ordering the right part.So after spending about $500 we left with the same issues we came in with even though we have a paper saying that there s warranty and guarantee!

Awesome!!! My husband and i bought a van from a friend and he told us they had a mechanic that knew the Van very well when we purchase the van the transmission was going away and we took the van to the mechanic that knew the van told us it was the transmission took it in thursday got it back a week later with the new transmission got the van and drives really good better than before im very thankful for the job mechanic and his employees for doing there best in fixing my van love it very happy i recommend.....

I give my honest opinion and experience. I give this Shop 2 stars, because I can not give them 1, it was not all that bad. Here is a list of my opinion base on my experience. I got my car from my Best friend of 15 years.We share like Family and I have seen this car since she got it brand new. My friend takes care of her things and the body and the interiors were in nearly excellent conditions.She had just put in barand new tires an d replaced all the fuel injectors until one day the car turned off and another problem came up.And so she did not want to put any more money in to fixing so I got it for a very reasonable price. The car had a hard power steering and the marking in the dashboard was going crazy.Round one: 1. They were very nice and seemed honest.2. They were diligent on gettin my car in a soon as posible.3. They worked with me and waited for me to have the money they dint charge extra for keeping the car wile I came up with the money.4. Prices were reasonable. 6 month warranty.Round two: 1. I pick up my car and there is interior covers missing.2. They replace the whole wheel instead of only the power steering, the wheel was old looking and had pieces falling and faulty with the signal stick.3. The part where the whole wheel and power steering was replaced was uncovered and when it rained the water got on my feet.4. The wheel had a squiking and clacking noises.Round three: 1. I tell the owner of One of the missing parts He said he would order but when I come back 2 weeks later, he made excuses and said he will have it in a few days.2. I explain that I noticed the part that covers the button part of the wheel under my feet is missing and that my feet were geting wet when it rains. And he tells me ohh! That car is old, and you just got it you don t know what things were missing. Before you got it. With answer and all the parts missing in my car I unfurtunally do not trust this man. The car does not feels safe to drive, the work done was Slappy. I paid almost $1500.I am still under warranty,!However since I lost the trust in this place I am afraid that if I take it back they will still other parts, still do a crappy job and probably mess something ales on purpose on retaliation. My car is now on another shop getting this place s bad work fixed.So this was my experience I will not recommend this place to anyone. And I will ceirtantly not Evers will I every , not even for an oil change. Bring my car or any future car here.

My car turned off on me, I googled the closest place near to fix it. Found this one, read no reviews whatsoever... worst mistake! Got there owner said he needed to wait for the car to cool off, left it over night. Next days he calls tells me its going to be $350 to fix some type of leak..He goes ahead a proceed with the work without my ok!!! I never gave permission to do anything! I had actually sent a tow truck to get mt car and take it to my actual mecanic. Calls again said hand work is just going to be $220 to get the pieces on my own ($350 for them ) !!!!ps: I didnt agree to get any job done by them ...minutes later the tow truck arrived and contacting me saying they didnt want to give my car saying I owed money. I called and he's charging me for god knows what!But fine, I paid it.Then hrs later my tow truck guy gets there AGAIN and they still dont want to give him my car!!!Worst experience ever! they seem nice and welcoming at first but dont fall for that trap!DONT GO HERE!

This repair shop provided the worse experience myself and husband have ever encountered. They damaged our motor after services were rendered in the amount of $1700. When we requested the mistake to be corrected we were given the run around and were told the repair shop was not responsible for the damages. Prior to bringing the vehicle in for repairs the motor was fine. When my husband went to retrieve the vehicle he did not make it all the way home. Our vehicle was inoperable right after picking it up from the shop a few miles down the road. After spending another 1000 on a replacement motor and paying an additional 1000 for it to be installed with another repair shop we later found out there were parts missing such as the stabilizer bushings and control arm on the passenger side of the vehicle. These missing parts are detrimental to the proper operation of the vehicles steering and control of the tires..in other words our entire tire could have broken and fallen off. My strong recommendation is to seek services from another repair shop this one does not have the best interest of the customer in mind.

*** this was originally posted on their Facebook business profile but has since been deleted **** Owner's son running scams out of the shop. He takes payment up front for repairs and pockets the cash. After two weeks of being given the "run-around" about my the work that he was supposedly doing on my car, I find out:no work had been done;He spent the money i paid up front amd was unable to pay for the parts;He was driving my car the entire time;He stole change & items from my car;HE'S NOT AN EMPLOYEE, the owner is aware of that he does this and consistently asks him to leave the property but Yanqueir aka Pete (own son) will refuse to leave. His father/shop owner (Alfonso) will not call the cops to have him removed because Yanqueir is on probation - he doesn't want his son to go to jail. Therefore, after many phone calls & taking the car back into my possession, the owner has began to do some work to the car, with the agreement I do not file a police report on his son. It has now been 3 weeks and my car is still not completed. I cannot comment on their quality of work, because I've yet to see it but I do look forward to the day that I never have to deal with this business again.

I brought my wifes car in because i knew the owner Alfonso son Yanquier Aka PETE. I brought the car in was told he would only charge me around 5 maybe 600 and only take at most 3 days to repair just the bumper a headlight and a few dents. I gave his son $500 cash and when the 3 days was up i called to see what was going on. Alfonsos son proceeded to tell me a gang of lies about this part not coming in and his painter wasnt showing up to work. Blah blah blah right... Well 2 weeks later the car was still not finished and he calls me to say i had to go to the paint shop to pay the 130 dollars to receive the freshly painted front bumper.. Cone to find out from there own receptionist he has been driving my wifes car for 2 weeks without permission taking it home every night he stole stuff from the car and. Didnt fix not one single thing that was promised.. These people are on DRUGS AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU PR YOUR CAR.. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS AND DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO ALFONSO... I am proceeding with a civil suite and filing criminal charges against YANQUIER FERNANDEZ AKA PETE

over my years in tampa ive delt with so many shady mechanics but im glad to see during my 15 years of going to this shop i havent had a problem yet! i love this shop and i always tell my coworkers about it cause its just that great! great people there too :)

Horrible, rude people that put other peoples lives at risk every day. They crowd the main road with customers cars so that no driver can drive down or turn off of their street without almost get into and accident. If asked about it they are incredibly rude. They do not care if people get into accident and die because of them

replace engine into my daughter car..car still don't run...now he's saying it's the transmission...keep car for 3-4 months and that's her little warranty she had from him...still had to get car towed..still broke
